    @Sithicus, no, the ships are post HW 2, so its the progenitors new ship.

    @CloudAge in about a week or two, we will release a Video of the progenitors, But you should be pleased to know that the Super Carrier has been fully retextured.

    Images are pretty Crappy since my video card is just abour ready to die on me, so please bare with me.

    Here is a quick screen shot with the new battle cruiser, it has to be re-scaled and some minor texture tweaks.

    I will post pictures of the Super Carriers new textures as soon as Moleman2k9 is back.

    (He's the coder, im the designer)

    This is turning out to be hard work since its a 2 man team, but regardless Moleman and I decided to start a new mod with brand new fleets for the Prog/Taiidani.

    We're still unsure whether or not we will change any aspects of the vaygr or the Higarans.



    As well, we're asking community support in the forum of tips, tricks, and resources. Anything is welcome, and as always, concepts are welcome.

    Lol. Adding new races is nothing. Wait until you're trying to add 2 new races, modify the vanilla races, add a campaign, and much more with only three people.

    Are you guys considering making a Community mod for other mods out there or going your own path entirely? lol and the ships are sweet but i way prefer Taiidan over progenitor!

    @joe 2987: ya i know its hard im a one maan team on the srious mod right now im going to relaese one of the final releases for it in about a week or two if Falco ever gets back to me, but no less ive been a 0one man team on that project two words -HARD -WORK lol

    @Cloudage: i belive, now dont quote me on this, we are going to go with our own path and there are going to be several races yes the taiidan will probably be our most dominent though

    alright aso i jsut finished the revamped super carrier and alls looking well scriptings complete with the carrier the engines are complete and the docking paths are complete

    Finally, Agamemnon i complete.

    Here she is, dimansions are 100% acurate, lenght/width/height. Proportions are as close to the relic model as I can get them. I realise there are some inconsistencies but I will work on, all in all, a pretty good result for a 8 hour model.









    And here she is docked and repairing a Carrier Class ship.







    Here is the reference image I had, compare the top view and you will see both models fit right into each other.





    Next step is to texture it. Any one willing to help?^^

    SOmething is wrong with the file, i cant export it to .3ds, the textures are not allowing it, 3ds max crashes each itme, but without textures its fine. i will work o nit tomorrow.

    ohh wow, your a tool. check ur inbox. im pretty sure it should work, i had to somewhat by pass 3ds texture export, and use a second export, some what a "stiched" up ship.

    I know the "Relic concept" image is diff then my ship, but the model relic produced is more realistic then the concept. although I will add the two guns u can see on the front of the ship in the concept image.

    sweet, needs retexturing and its all done. I wonder why they get to screwed up though, in the last pic, on the top near the front for example...

    think u can send it over though, i need to look at in game to get a perspective on what needs to be added/changed

    aswell, im modeling every concept ship that Relic ever created for the homeworld universe, I will release a file containing all of them, for the community to use and fiddle around with.

    Whisper2Me - I'm working on Higg Battleship project and I think I've got the main idea worked out but to be honest my modeling skills are non-existant so all I can do ATM is to share the ideas and see how it goes.

    I doubt you will get it in tonight since i still have a lot, a shit load of stuff to do on it. I will do a fighter class ship soon. as well make sure when u get Agamemnon that its the size of a normal mother ship, maybe a bit longer, but not too much longer.

Touching up random things or are you full blown on releasing more sweet ships!! from what you have now its hard to see in the screen shots but are your ships textured to the point of original homeworld 2 ships or even better??!!

    some of them are the agememnon screenshots the ones that i posted were not textured to homeowrld 2 standards but the new version which im hoping to get some shots of tonight will be all ships in their final verssion will be able to compete with homeworld2 textures also i beleive were still gunna churn out more ships it seems that they take a while im working on a personal ship for the mod which is basicly a defens plaform ill post pics later of it but if you remember startrek phaserbacnks on the saucers its gonna be somthing like that

    I feel like my head is splitting, a full night of modeling, and one more full night of meddling to go, then a full 2 nights of texturing. I think this will be the quickest any body has been able to design/model/texture a full fleet of 24 ships.

    Well, Agamemnon is pretty much done, just some small engine texture tweaks, and near the bottom a small issue arose, will work on both of those in unison.

    Aye of Aran is being put on hold. THis is because the fleet is taking top priority.

    Neo-Taiidan fleet will be re-started most likely by friday/monday. wednesday at the latest. I haven't really tried to make any progress on the taiidan, just somewhat tinkering and tweaking textures etc


    Ill post more updates as we progress further

    ohh okay sweet, i faintly remember the Phaser banks! Google-ing them as i write! and you guys are doing amazing there's no rush take you time if you need it!! there amazing so far! you guys have done this work amazingly fast but if you get tired and what not take a break and when your ready im sure youl get some even better stuff done!
