For the Drache, that's what I was planning, but I'm not sure I will do it actually. I want something like the Joint Operations ability; that the Drache drops infantry. But that requires a .scar code, and I cannot make .scar codes at all.

i downloaded this mod from relic forums thread and installed all of the file correctly and i clik on the shortcut to play the game and it comes up with a crash report any help?

You need patch v2.600 and Tales of Valor to play this mod.

I had the same problem. The properties of the shortcut that comes with the download has -modname as part of the target line. Just change that to -mod and you're golden.

Hi, I tried your mod today and I found some bugs:
All new Units have NO Range Problem.
The Howitzer appears beside the emplacement, not in the emplacement.
For what do I need a Captain and a Sergant with same abilitys, but the Captain with Popcap 6 and the Sergant with Popcap 1?

I know about the Howitzer, but iirc I fixed it now. The .ucs problem is weird since nobody else has the problem. The Captain gives a defensive bonus and the Staff Sergeant a Offensive bonus. Although the Captains popcap is a bug.
Well, great mod, but the Colt 45 (Captain's pistol) sounds awful.
And the Drache Helicopter doesn't show up or do anything.
Apart from that, great mod and very well balanced!
how is it going for tiger II henschel,jagdtiger and the german howitzer?

@pojarsma: Working on the lefH18, and two other models (I will not reveal them yet), but I didn't get the files from 130th Panzer, and I did not ask Kamikaza22 about it (yet), since I haven't spoken to him in a while...
@MagnAn:I quite like the Colt sound, but I think it's way too powerfull.
@huetti07: It depends on where you placed the .ucs file. It it located in Improved\Locale\English and you have to keep it there.
I have the german version, do I need to change the folder and the file to German by renaming them?

When I started making this mod almost a year ago, I didn't know what the final name was going to be. And I am to lazy to change it.
@MagnAn: The sound in Celestial mod for the Colt .45 is the real sound, ive fired one before a WW2 one and a Modern one. Thats the actual sound

Speaking of emplacements, I noticed some like the AA gun that you have in the bofors nest...Can those be recaptured? Some can and can't. I was just wondering if that was intentional.
@Bink: I think its a known bug with custom emplacements i will have to test after school which ones cant and can.
hi im new and i like this mod so far and i haven't even played the mod yet. i would just like to know would it work with opposing fronts (unfortunatly i don't have TOV or vCOH)
if you download the latest patches it will work with your CoH, this is because they allow you to download all the ToV content. you simply cant access it, but the mod will still work. unfortunately i dont believe you will be able to play americans/wehrmacht in this mod because you dont own vCoh
i got latest patch because i played online a few hours ago so now i just wait and see
edit: after an hour and a bit my download was complete. so far so good. then i had to wait 30 secons(ish) for the mod to finish extracting. now all i need i need is installation instructions coz i put all the files in the main coh folder and when i started the game, it came up as the normal game. any ideas?

@JackTheProdigy:ok,you managed to download it and extract it without problems,after you placed all the files in the main CoH folder you should use the shortcut included,maybe the properties in the shortcut are wrong,they should look like this:
"C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -mod Improved -dev
and now double click your shortcut and ready to play.
thanks. PE are no longer boring but i was playing victory points on the sheldt and i was sooo close to wining (acctually it was 25 points left) and my game froze. also another thing is it possible to get rid of the new sounds coz i liked the old mg42 sound more
if I remember correctly,you only need to erase the SGA of sound in Improved/Archives.

yeah its at lowest setting and its also never done that before on vCOH
mmm...that is weird,maybe you need to clean up your system,I also had lagging problems,I cleaned up and it runs pretty well,not the best best settings I have,but I'm happy with my system.
I should recommend in the options menu quit the antialiasing(or whatever it is the name hehe..)that option make the game lag a lot, sorry if I can't help you more but I don't have lag problems,you should wait for another answer.![]()

@JackTheProdigy:If i remember correctly it gives more realistic look to the models or something like that,anyway,sometime ago I had my graphics at medium/high without and with antialiasing and they looked the same...well at least for me it looked the same.
I have the German version of COH-TOV so the unit names and descriptions are not correctly. Could someone explane me what I have to do so that the texts are displayed.
I've got the same problem with my german version. I tried to create an "...\improved\locale\German"-folder and copied the .ucs file there (renamened to ...german.ucs) but it didn't work. I'm getting the no range error on all new units.

Whenever you move the .ucs file you also have to change the module. The module will try to find the .ucs file in Improved\Locale\English. You can change that, open up the Improved.module and find:

I tried it. I changed only the code you posted (I didn't forget the slashes), but now I'm getting an instant crash report. Also tried to simply copy the lines under [locale:english], getting the same error.

Doesn't work either, sorry. Do you have any other ideas? I tried something like this some time ago for another mod, there it worked. I don't understand why it is producing a crash directly?
By killing the first line (delete or remming it out) the game starts but again with the nor range error. May there be any compatibility issues with your .usc-file and the German game version?
I compared the file with "Blitzkrieg"-mod and deleted all lines above 18xxxxxx - no effect (witch means crash report). Strange, very strange!

Thanks for your response. Your first solution worked perfectly for me. I have changed the lines and when I start the mod now all texts are in english and everything is displayed correctly.
It finally worked!
To get German text with only the mod-altered things in english, you have to take the RelicCoH.German.ucs and add all the lines from Improved.English.ucs from 18xxxxxx on - then point to this new .ucs-file (howerver you name it).
elbeasto, please tell me. did you read the readme or look in the grand how-to? if so they explain everything.

Hi, I tested your mod yesterday with the Brits and the played fine though but I have a few suggestions for improvement:
Can you make the Bren Carrier more resistant against Riflefire?
The Britisch need a Medic too.
The RAF Attack for 500 Mun shouldnt be limited to 1 use per game.
Could you add the MGs for the Halftracks as and upgrade, so no units inside would be needed to mount the MG.
Maybe I could translate the UCS file into German and share it with you.

- The Bren Carrier already recieved a health bonus (I added it after v1.08 was released), and so do the PE light vehicles.
- I may add a British Medic.
- RAF Airstrike is extremely powerfull if you use it at the right time, so don't waste it.
- The Halftrack idea is good, I'll keep that in mind.
If you make the translations good I'd be happy to add it in the mod. (Beware, I can understand German).
Here is the file, I translated all really correct to your descriptions.
If I should change something, just say it, or do it on your own because you also speak German as you say. But please attend me to your Credits.

Yes the Air Strike is really powerfull, but decrease cost to 400 Mun?
In the N44 Mod they made the Halftracks like I said, I think.
