Otherwise, melee>wraiths. Clearly, you need the great knarloc... Or hammerheads... or both... or a greater knarloc riding a hammerhead....
But seriously, try kroot or something. Without more information, that's all I can suggest.
My point is that wraiths eat kroot alive due to sync kills and wraiths kill everything else. On top of that a cron lord pestering the commander and that's it.

Wraith spam is OP in DC - but better in SS.
They're cheap, can ignore snares and eat FW in melee - and are often accompanied by the NL with solar flare!
Options are - assuming T2:
kroot meatshield -preferably fully canibalised
transport - just pack those FW away and set up somewhere else
vespid/upgraded ssuit - just raid his gens and give him something to worry about
That's really it I'm afraid. Best to kill them in tier 1 with FW mass, but that's easier said than done!

Their sync kill rate was reduced in DC 1.2 I believe. If you want less imba Necrons, get the patch.
Edit: Or if you want much less imba Necrons, get SS.

how can you even play online with 1.1? Or is the AI a wraith spammer? Not sure what kind of response you want, do you want us to say "Yes the wraith was OP, thats why they nerfed it in 1.2". Get the patch?

My point however is that kroot will lose cost effectively to wraiths, they will kick the shit out of fws and spids. So basically the whole thing seems to be undoable as marines vs Rangers.
Wraiths are there to remind Tau players that they are infact mortal, afterall.
Seriously, it's about the only thing that a Tau ever needs to be scared off.
Successful tactics I've seen used, tend to involve the usual snare trap + Fire Warrior mass in T1 (which Wraiths do beat, but), which will let you easily beat Necron Warriors or a Flayed One spam, followed into a fairly fast T2 with Broadsides and a steady, defensive playstyle. Though those things are expensive and need to be used in pairs because of the minimum range.
They overkill most things, but the damage reduction against ranged fire that Wraiths have means they won't overkill them, just zap them good...and they can't be tied up in melee like your Fire Warriors can.
Use them to secure your lines and your part of the map; Maybe even push a bit if you think you can manage; Then get vehicles and try and push on out up the further Tiers so you can pull-out the big guns and tanks that will then really let you put some hurt on the Necrons.

Pretty amazing what looking a few posts below can do, eh? Also, you may want to edit your title if you do have 1.2.
Although it sounds dunced, Fire warriors combined with Kroot Carnivores and Snares can overcome Wraiths easily. You need to be more specific though; is he just spamming Wraiths without any other units? Is there a Necron Lord and what's it doing? Are there Necron Warriors and Flayed Ones?
Wraiths are also somewhat vulnerable to knockbacks; Feral Leap is pretty good at preventing them from killing stuff. It also gives you more time to shoot at them.
If you want overall Tau vs Necron, read the other thread. If you want only specifically against Wraith...meh, I guess I've already stated what to do.
Some shapers added to your kroot might help somewhat, if you can get him to target them.
