I go to file front, I click download. The download box comes up and it starts to open the file. But when it's finished opening the file, no folder comes up. Instead, the download window just closes. Any ideas?

well depends weather you are using firefox or internet explorer. personally I find Firefox much easier and the download windows will stay open after you have been downloading.
now if you are in internet explorer then what you should make sure is not ticked is that box in the download window that says "close window after download" this will mean that it stays open after your download and you will have the options to open and run ...etc.

Now you have to be in internet explorer to do this which is anoying for me. once its open right click where it says and say save target as or something like that and then choose a download location...etc.
