Got a little 'bump' update...

Outer Tigers updated

They got improved weathering, zimmerit and lots of other things.

the only thing that bothers me are those stupid canopy covers on the 251 halftracks

You mean what? Canvas? Newest versions of outer halftracks have an alternative skin with canvas removed...

I wonder if it's possible to alpha out the turret stowage bin? Or will you have a textureless part then?

Talking about the Tiger? Yeah, the bin could be removed, I tried it, but there's the same problem that occurs when you try to alpha-out for example a flak88 shield - the 'outline' is noticeable... I wasn't satisfied.

Gday. Great new skins as usual.

I have a problem I hope you can solve. I am currently using your Skinpack Tiger as my standard Tiger skin, your previous “102” as the Tiger Ace skin and would like to use your Kaether Tiger as the reward Tiger skin.

When I use the Kaether Tiger files in the shared textures folder I get the Kaether Tiger skin but with zimmerit – which doesn’t look all that great. I assume the nrm and/or the spc files are being used from one of the other two Tiger locations – probably the Standard Tiger.

Is there an easy way to fix this? Do I have to modify an ebps to direct the Reward skin to another location? Are the files the tiger_voss files? Or do you have to make an nrm and spc files for the Kaether Tiger in the shared texture location that doesn’t show zimmerit?

Any help would be great thanks.

Basically:
campaign ace uses its own independent spec and normal files from its model folder.
All other tigers share them with the blitz one. That makes using few skins with/without zimmerit quite problematic...
Even more becouse my skinpack tiger has different zimmerit than updated outer ones...

If you want to keep multiplayer compatibility there's no simple solution.
It's up to you to decide what looks worse: zimmerit-dif with plain nrm and spc, or plain-dif with zimmerit in nrm and spc

But hopefully in the next version of WM skinpack each tiger will have it's own unique skin. With zimmerit.

Groovy new tiger skin; since blitzkrieg has a seperate skin (the tiger ace skin actually) for panzer elite callins it means I've got a really good tiger skin that fits the rest of the army (ie, your PE pack.) :3

which tiger matches the other wehr vehicles best, skin color/scheme wise? the kaether or the normal one in the whole army file?

It's possible, but imho painting them on a vehicle gives non-satisfying results. If anything, it should be modeled. And since I know nothing about modelling...
