    SS1.2 Chaos Vs Tau

    after playing many a team game from the lobby, i decided to try my hand at automatching, so i picked my race to have a go with (chaos) and off i went

    I think i played fairly well here, i dare say i floated more than i should at times, but i really am trying to up my 1v1 game so if anyone can help me, itd be much appreciated!

    also i won bloodlust for this, i really do sound like a noob but what does that mean ^^

    I have no clue regarding medals AFAIK you can't view them anyhow lol.

    It's probably one of the "Kill X" medals... but alas from what I've read they aren't visible in game yet

    You played fairly well here against a player that wasn't all that good but he was capable.

    A few pointers for you
    -You teched to T3 very quickly - in this game in won you the match but against vespids and tau commander you wouls have lost those early gens. 1 gen in early T1 is probably enough.

    -Try to set way points from buildings for you troops, not only do they move to the LP (for example) straight away but they also pop out of that side of the building too. Every second counts!

    You can have a barracks up in 20 secs - this will make the raptor harrass that much quicker. Also on this map when jumping over. Jump near their top SP check it, decap if you can and then move down to their base.

    try not reinforce 1 squad to 10 memebers - 2 squads of 5 is a little cheaper and also cant be tied up by one melee squad.

    Keep an eye on the mini map for idle troops and builders - you had a relic capped but not LP'd the whole game. the cultists that were idle during the middle part of the game could have tied up one of those pesky FW squads

    Try not to let squads hang around in the fight when they are clearly losing - dance/run!!!

    had your opponent danced his FW's + commander and not let them get chewed up in melee this would have been a lot harder for you

    Well played overall - good job on resricting his economy by taking down LP's

    okay so i'm watching this and pausing to type

    so at 3:03 in

    a few things i've noticed for you

    -do things quicker at the beginning basically right klick to waypoint and generally do everything quicker

    -your build order is very poor, having 2 gens right at the begging of the game is not neccessary for anyrace and especially not for chaos you should of only built one gen or no gen and added one later

    -you reinforced your raptors they are supposed to be your harassing units and moreso they are expensive at the begging of the game preventing you from putitng up lps or building another squad if you reinforce like you did

    -try and lp quicker


    5:15 minuts in
    -so you finally got out another squad this is way to late to be getting out another squad you need one much much sooner

    your doing alright as it is mostly because the tau player has me scratching my head i dont know why he went kroot instead of fire warriors + tau commander and his decision is now affecting him if he went fw +tc and pushed the game would of been over about 2 minuts ago

    -your points still arent all lp'd thats really bad

    - you took down the generator that is good


    6 minuts

    -you start teching okay i guess but if your opponent had anymore army you would have to build more units

    -your opponent got out firewarriors but is not dancing them thats good for you but usually people dance them

    7 minuts
    he has you on the ropes and he knows it then backs off gaaah

    both players floating over 400 req vury bad

    8 minuts
    your teching way to fast your base is full of enemies and if he was compotent he would focus on your zerkers then search for tech then kill sac circle but he's just standing around so far

    11 minuts in

    alot of fighting in your base he dumbly looses his two fire warrior squads

    13:50
    you spend time decapping that point instead of wrecking everything at this point it would be more benifical to charge ahead and not decap letting him have time to reinforce


    thast pretty much it the rest is just cleanup

    main points

    fix your build order you dont need 2 gens build like rap/cl or rap/csm or csm/cl instead of just rap and another gen

    get faster at it

    lp much much quicker

    thats pretty much it your made some poor decisions at the start but your opponent made worse so it evens it out

    if you ever want a game just freind me my names nude-fox (if that does not work try nudefox) and whisper me i'm just trying to get back into this game from a long time ago so i'll be a bit rusty but i can point you in the right direction when it comes to the basics and little tricks
