    Marker drones with troops

When marker drones are in a squad of FWs or anything that does not have the relentless special rule does that mean they too do not have relentless. If so can they not shoot their markerlights?I ask this question because they are networked would that mean they can still shoot even if they have moved? I would think for the 30 points they would be able to. Correct me if I am wrong. Also can pathfinders with markerlights move and shoot. The markerlights for them are actually attached to their pulse carbines. I just want to clear this up now before it causes trouble in future games.

What kind of profile does the markerlight weapons have? It's an either or proposition, you chose one or the other.

I don't think squads pick up USRs that joins.

Are you sure your reading this correctly? Markerlights count as heavy weapons while firing so you can't move and shoot with them unless they have the special rule relentless. As for marker drones, they can only move and fire if the drone controllers squad can move and fire heavy weapons. So it wouldn't be able to move and shoot with firewarriors, but it could with stealth suits and battlesuits.

The squad won't pick up Relentless, however Independant Characters with Relentless don't lose it upon joining another unit. So I'd say Marker Drones can still move and fire; assuming nothing in their own special rules interferes with that.

As for the markerlight drones moving and shooting this was already answered here The unit type of the marker drones is as owner, so it wouldn't count as a jet pack unit which means it would not be relentless.

networked markerlight only means that the unit the shoots it can also benefit from its effects.

Ok i just wanted to make sure. Under the pathfinders description it says they have a markerlight target designator is there any difference between that and normal markerlights or is it just a fancy name for markerlights?
