Okay heres a pic of a zombie in the making, still have to finish some things, like dirtying up his jeans etc, maybe make some more rips on arms?
I can't get the mod to work. I put all the files in my main COH folder and then renamed a shortcut with the "-modname zombie -dev", but it didn't work. Anyone know what I need to do? (I have TOV 2.502).

Its because the one you downloaded is 2.301 compatable. The 2.502 is still pending approval at ModDB

Nah, the guns are realistic now (i.e. one shotgun shot will not kill 5 zombies)
What I mean is, do the zombies attack you or do they just walk around shouting 'shoot us'?
Well, they seem to have improved. Significantly. But there are still bugs.
Theres a few alternatives I'm working on as well, eg. some damage auroras, also some frenzy ability so that they effect your units within close distance with cowering(suppression etc.) plus other ideas I'm working on, so we feel safe to say that this shouldnt be a problem in future updates, Ive also been working on another zombie, I've just called him a creeper for the moment, but they crawl along the ground consistantly, Im just trying to see how it could be implemented into game with certain attributes, any ideas?

I dont care what ideas you do for zombies, just as long as they dont get guns or drive tanks or anything 'smart' like that.

about the base building i should do the soldiers_hq from the commonwealth i mean if there so much hordes you wanna travel around and not want to stick on one place
At present its setup for allies-usa, and you need a forward base to be able to build the units, not all modes will be like that, but I presume the main game will be.
I had an idea last night where the allies base is a Red Cross safe zone. It would make things a lot easier and tbh it would be kinda cool. Flags could be replaced with red cross flags (and for zombies they could be torn up bloody old red cross ones as if they invaded and took over the area).
This would be interesting because it would allow for players to understand something (base building) and the AI would be able to play effectively. All of the buildings could be modified barracks, and the hq could look like a hospital or first aid center.
Liking this mod. If you need any help with 2D art (e.g. UI, icons) let me know and I will see if i can fit anything round Eastern Front and exams.

I like that idea Burton, the buildings could also be broken up further, maybe a rescue centre(hub), supplies and accessories and the actual buildings that the units come out of, or all of them, Just like they do in normal rescue operations with there names, eg. field command etc.

1: I am having trouble finding which textures need to be edited for flags. Can someone list which ones need to be edited in order to have every flag changed.
2: What do you guys think of bringing back base building?
For example:
You start with a survivor squad, an engineer squad, and an HQ
You can build:
1) Medical Response tent
Ability purchases:
- Medic: Each survivor squad gets one medic in their squad who can heal the wounded, and execute infected.
- Syringes: Gives each squad ability to heal each other temporarily.
2) National Guard Tent
Unit purchases:
- Recruits: Newest recruits who haven't completed basic training.
- Scouts: 3 soldiers who can camouflage themselves effectively.
Ability purchases:
- Bandoliers: Infantry can hold more ammo.
- Grenades: Soldiers now get grenades, but supplies are limited.
3) Police Tent
Unit purchases:
- Police Sargent: Provides morale and increases your survivor's effectiveness.
Ability purchases:
- Flashlight: When purchased, one man in each squad gets a small flashlight to light the way.
- Body Armor: When purchased, two men per squad have increased HP.
4) Supply Tent
Unit purchases:
- Supply Truck: When units are near the truck, they resupply. It can also give rides to single unit squads, such as the Police Sargent.
Ability purchases:
- "Go find supplies!": When purchased, you can order inactive squads to scrounge for supplies.
- "Look harder!": Level X upgrade to the above ability.

First, let me start off this update with a quick introduction to the team. sirpsychoj is our most excellent SCAR coder and mapper, geolol is a skinner, coder, and researcher, and I am the leader, coder, mapper, skinner, and everything else.
Ok, as some of you may know, this mod has been debating whether or not to have bases or not. After much debate, we have decided that this would be beneficial to the mod. So, I have a few screenshots of the new tents.

Now, with sirpsychoj on the team, we are planning on implementing many unique SCAR features to the mod. For example, we are planning on:
- Running out of ammo
- Weapons jamming

A suggestion: Change the flag on the top, make it like SOS or help or anything like that, that would would fit the zombie infection.
And add reskined rifleman that it would look like the police, it should be like the lame police and the knight cross Police officers would be like a more advanced police ( they are officers u know ).
Maye make the HQ from british forces, where they have a truck not a house like now,
And I have tons of weapon models and trying to do a ford crown police model u could use.

was looking through the forums and noticed this. its looking pretty damn good man, i like how the models look. how does it play at the moment? what id realy like to know is how the zombies look, id imagine its alot harder to do them than the survivors or police. also, and im sure youve heard this often does it play like L4D? id realy like to see a hunter in game, id imagine they wouldent be to hard to model and the biggest to-do would be making a "leap" or "jump" ability. well good luck with the mod man, either way ill dl it. looking foward to tov release.

The game doesn't play like L4d much. The only real similarities is that the zombies dont actually eat the survivors..yet
I don't think the hunter like in L4D is really possible yet though.
Zombie with fireup and then assault gren stun like ability but in melee would be sort of like hunter.

@burten&general i singled out the hunter becouse i remember an ability in DOW DC that was baisicly a leap with a knockdown effect.iirc the knights had it. wasnt my fav unit becouse they looked corny as hell but that charge ability was very usefull for mod's.
