That won't work, it's also looking for the coh folder, a bit too much to go around copying.heres somehing that could be quite extreme but why dont you copy that folder to the my documents/company Of heroes etc

Weird thing happened today, been running Blitzkrieg 1.4 (with all updates) just fine for the past month and then boom! Today I go to run it, and it crashes immediately, I look at the warnings.log, and it seems when the mod runs it looks for all the game files in the documents/my games/COH/ folder instead of the programfiles/thq/coh folder..I changed nothing, did nothing , reinstalled blitzkrieg and still nothing changes..All other mods are unaffected-NOR44/Cross of Iron/ECL etc....Anyone know whats up with that?? Thanks
It's ECL! ECL Installs a file called "PatternMod.UCS" which is put somewhere in the COH Directory, I can't think of where exactly anymore since I reformatted, but I was having the same exact problem and this fixed it, just remove the file.
installed full version and update gets the report bug to relic window appering directly with other words don't starts at all

please remove those irritating "out of control" things, today we played the invason map which has lots of water and after i knocked out a tiger it was rolling around in the water "out of control" and knocked out 2(!) pershings (fired like 3 times AFTER i knocked it out, this is pure bullshit) this whole firing in "out of control" state is a joke, i always hated it in vCoh as well but i dont know why modders havent realised that its so unrealistic
Well I must agree with that, the out of control thing is very anoying when you have knocked out a tank before it took yours out but then it kills your tank when its out of control, if its out of control how do they aim the gun its kind of weird how they designed that.
In the MP version, is it possible to kill a tank crew but leave the tank relatively intact? Then you could send out another tank crew to recover the vehicle... or have The Enemy steel it from you...![]()
I have to agree with lin, I lost two Sherman VC firefly's to a Tiger that was "Out of Control".

Of course its a concern. Updating now... Relic is so worried about ruining their "experience". They should take a look at what the modders are doing.. I mean come on it hurts for me to play vanilla, so little content comparably, and don't get me started on those team color things. I've never in any history book seen a bright color stripe along the entire vehicle or buildings....eeh![]()

Do we still need the scenarios/mp folder in the programfiles/coh/ww2?
Edit: If someone can simply post me your file path to both My Games and the Program Files that would probably help. Or you can just PM me a screen/s like I posted up last page. I think it might be something deeper than just the file path though.

Far as my knowlege, depending on your OS, you just need the main map scenario folder, no mp, no seperate for mods and such. For me and vistians its documents/my games/companyofheroes/WW2/scenarios and for others its programfiles/THQ/companyofheroes/WW2/scenariosDo we still need the scenarios/mp folder in the programfiles/coh/ww2?
I love it because it's freed many gigabytes having only one copy of the maps (b4 it was seperate mods need their own folder and mp/sp etc....) as well as being able to just keep all maps in their .sga format and not needing to unpack them to work...
When I placed my maps I put them in in
Documents/My Games/COH/WW2/Scenarios
yea just downloading the patch now i hope though that the whole compatabilty issues that appered with Vcoh has actually fixed this because all of my friends cant get on the same match with me on BK it used to say ******* has incorrect Compatablity issues
Me and my friends played a few games today, with the mod, no problems. Other than the fact that a Puma with an upgraded cannon took out two Sherman Fireflys, one Cromwell, and one Achilles
good to know patch does not break it
a few things to Note
1. butterfly bombs are very powerful right now damage wise
2. allied tank commanders VET icon is extremely small
3. strafing run seems to be extremely under-powered
4. if you do maps, the roads on rhine and black forest are not real roads
Played two games with a friend. Had two crashes on the larger maps under vista.... but assume thats just memory issues on my account. The AI seems very silly, or maybe its just that it takes it so long to upgrade and allocate resources to research it take a long time to start off.
The AI uses infantry to charge when in this mod they have no chance.
I also noticed that weapons seem to be able to fire through things like solid concrete walls to a target beyond.
Apart from that I am really enjoying the mod.
@Destraex: make sure you're not using the maps that came w/ the mod (the ones in the X\Blitzkrieg_SP\Data\Scenarios\mp\ folder). Those tend to have problems.
Is there a website where I can see what BLITZ multiplayer games are running/scheduled? I'd love to play this co-op, but haven't had any luck...
As for Allied Strafing Runs... they should be able to punch holes in lightly-armored/soft targets. So game-wise anything smaller then a Hanomag.251 should be in trouble... IMO, of course.
And on a different note, what's with the Allied AI rushing with anti-tank guns?

should the nashorns cannon not be singificantly longer? I remember the calibre being greater and the gun looking less like a howitzer?

yea the nashorns' cannon was longer with muzzle break, but new animated models are hard to make so they sticked with a simple hummel model
well the geshutzwagon looks like a suitable candidate or the nashorn, 1st time i saw that on vCoh i actually thought it was a nashorn then i found out that relic called it the gesutzwagon

As for multiplayer, I'll warn folks -- I'm one of those "defensive" players... I enjoy the whole "make a nice base" game... just something about setting up a static defensive line and watching your enemies crash onto it and seeing just how long it can survive... So much fun.
I love the bofors range, makes sort work of most infantry and the dang pumas that the tanks for some reason cant seem to hit.
Well, assuming it's a bug, it'll be fixed. But on the off-chance it isn't a bug, then there needs to be some serious reworking of the other weapons IMO... Flakvierling, The 88 (including Tiger's main gun), and British AT emplacement should have the same range as the BOFORS (balance-wise), then.
Speaking of Flakvierling, is there any way to get it in an emplacement like the BOFORS? I hate it when my own freakin' Panzers run over the sandbags I set up for them...
Also, why can't the Panzer Elite Bunkers be made into a Medic or Repair bunker?
And while I'm at it (wondering, that is), why doesn't the British have some form of mobile MG emplacement? Unless it's the Bren Carrier, I could see a Vickers squad coming in handy...
The new Flakvierling will also come in a handsome emplacement. More range for the 88 would make it way too strong IMHO, but I adjusted some values of the Flakvierling so it deals more damage against infantry and light vehicles. Before it was weak compared to the M3 Halftracks quad cal. .50. The accuracy is still low but if it hits now, a soldier dies for sure, so frontal rushes with infantry against a Flakvierling 38 emplacement are now not a good idea anymore.
PE bunkers can't be upgraded, because that's a WM feature.
The CW has a mobile heavy weapon squad with a Vickers included, it can be called in by the Leutnant/Captain IIRC.
regarding the bunker thing, the PE and WM use different bunkers, wm bunker has windows every side but pe bunkers can only fire forward and its even more expensive than wm (plus it cannot be updgraded). Is this intentional? because if it is id like to know the logic behind this

hmmm i just played a vcoh game and the AI is a bit better on the regualar maps weired
i was doing Schelt and the AI ws so fieirce and fast consdering there was only 2 fuel points they managed to get pumas almost imedetly but the AI was kinda stupid
the americans had gone AB and blocked the bridges off by AT guns and the M21 Mortor halftack while the germans were blocking the 2nd bridge cos of there destoyed veicales
actually you should get rid of that cos once the tanks are smashed, it blocks the bridges and small roads or at least get it so that the heavy tanks can smash through them
Heavy tanks: Tigers, Pershings, Churchills, Jagdpanther

also, maybe shermans with bulldozers could do it.
