    Any chance we will get a hotfix for the 2.4 patch that seems to have screwed up the mod? If it is something simple to change could you please post it and we can make the fix.
    I just installed the 2.4 before I went out for work... CRAP! Did it break the MOD?

    ... adittional you have to change the shortcuts! Simply replace the string -modname with -mod. That`s it!

    Xalibur, note that custom sounds (like engine and weapon sound) won't work anymore.

    If they still do, can I use yours? Because mine don't work.

    Language problem

    Hi there, first i'd like to thank the whole blitzkrieg team for that mod that rocks !

    But i have problem with unit and upgrades description showing numbers, i checked the data\locale\folders and i realized that my game is french so does someone know if there's a way to switch language or just replace my RelicCoH.french.ucs with RelicCoH.ucs and change the folder name

    your mod has gone bonkers, i done every that is needed the 2 new modules the changing target line to mod instead of Modname, but the mod is back to orignal COH exept of Skins and a few things like commandos needed Captain to be used

    please fix this as fast as you can

    @Myron + Slavik: A seperate French speech file would be a lot of work again.

    I think there is a easier solution:

    Go to the "Blitzkrieg_SP" folder (or "Blitzkrieg" for the MP version) and into the "Locale" folder there. Make a copy of the "English" folder and name it "French", then go into this new directory and rename the "Blitzkrieg_SP.English.ucs" to "Blitzkrieg_SP.French.ucs" (if you want to play the MP version do the same in the "Blitzkrieg" folder and with the "Blitzkrieg.English.ucs" file in the Locale/English folder there.

    I haven't tried it but this could work so at least you'd have english texts ingame.

    faction: Allied
    3vs3

    My opinion may be not enough since ive played only one game so Im not saying my review is 100% true

    The mod is just great, I loved the unit distribution, the new units and the keeping of good things from vanilla plus your improvements.

    Also I favour the simplicity of available squads, and not too many squads doing the same.

    I Feel there is a lot of strategy, still I have some objections:

    1) I Had lots of munition, easily getting every upgrade in the game in one shot.
    my suggestions are:
    a) Increase munition costs, increase number of possible upgrades in squads, or set BAR, grenads and that kind of upgrades to Munition cost, and NOT like vanilla (manpower and fuel)
    b) Reduce munition income

    2) AI Needs really really some work. Im not an online player, so my gameplay will be single player only. I Really hope you can manage to improve it.
    from the beginning, allied AI didnt build anything (may be a MAP BUG), and then squad recruitment is really choppy. British is OK, it build defenses and some squads, but not all of them. Mainly Stuarts and infantry.
    Axis focus on mgs and pumas. Though I admit ive seen a Panther over there

    For now that is all I can say ill play some more and tip more

    keep it up looking forward to 1.4

    Hi folks, there are a lot more issues I found that have to be reworked. So playing the v135 with COH-OF 2400 is not recommended!!!

    My beta v140 is now 99% compatible. Only the custom sounds are not working yet...

    So please wait for the v140. This version will be 2400 compatible. I try to release v1.40 as fast as I can!

    I noticed in the 2.4 patch they added new sounds to the stock game and made them louder the 30cal now sounds good in the stock game

    Id really hope you can get the AI to have some heavy and late-game units

    Because Xali is pretty busy (Real-Life kicked in), I'll try to answer the questions as good as possible.

    @revolucion09: Nice shots you got there!
    A further reduction of the Ammo income would be the overkill for the human player (at least in the SP version). THe AI now get's a x3 resource-multiplier upgrade and if it researches that you would regret having to spend a lot ammo on upgrades while the AI has already everything researched. Right now the AI still is faster in teching but it's managable to a certain degree (but still though).

    This should also answer the question about the new AI. They are brutal! They now fortify more strategic points and when they have researched the res-multi they will flood you with tanks and shell the heck out of your defense posts.

    @Baracus: Yepp, v2.400 includes new sounds and I think some have been made louder. At least the voice of the german Flakvierling 38 of the PE sounds pretty loud now. Now we only have to get the BK sounds to work again and then the release can be done. BTW: the new BK cannon sounds in v1.4 (Tiger, Panther, etc.) are way better than before, they sound very evil now and have quite some bass.

    Just a little more patience, you won't regret to have waited for 1.4 for some time.

    Judging by the current progress I'd say a few weeks (or less) is realistic. Because Xali is very busy I can't tell for sure WHEN he will be releasing it. But over 90% are already working so it can't be long anymore.

    1. If someone would model and skin a Stuka so it looks good, in theory: yes.

    2. Are you serious? No! CoH is land warfare, not a Navy RTS. If you want to see ships and U-Boats I suggest playing Silent Hunter III.

    3. Again in theory: yes. But why? Buildable planes in CoH? Nahh. I'm not sure if it works with the code nor do I think it's a good option gameplay-wise. Planes should be support, not buildable. Also the airfield would have to be very large so on most maps not buildable due to lack of free buildspace.

    4. I have no idea if this would work.

    5. Also no idea, but again I doubt that this works.

    You can't play .sga maps with mods, unless you use the CoHLauncher. But I thought CoHLauncher doesn't work with mods anymore...

    Actually, in BotB mod, they managed to get trucks to toe guns which is good because its ridiculous that men two men have to CARRY the damn thing across the map.

    COH-OF 2501

    Hi Guys,
    yesterday I patched up to 2501. Good news: MOD`s still work but some more things have to be reworked. For example all modified AI & Scar files are not working any longer... and the module file is different to the one used for 2400!

    All new models are allready included in this patch and usable . I got fully functional the new german artillery pit, the Geschützwagen & the fixed M18 (no more bugs) so far...

    So I will optimize the next release of Blitzkrieg v.140 for version 2501 of COH-OF/ToV

    ...I installed v2.500 and the 2501 patch came automatically via relic update (torrent) while starting COH!

    hey, I got the full 2.501 patch and now it LOADS like Blitzkrieg, the TREES are Blitzkrieg, but the units and stats are vanilla....which is weird because it works well except that my PC decided to incorporate both vanilla and thew mod into a game of its own any clue how to fix?

    @Sad_eyed_Irony: The v1.35 of BK won't work well with CoH v2.400 or above. Too much has changed since that patch and has to be adpoted so BK will work again. You will have to wait until Blitzkrieg v1.4, that version (to be released soon, but I can't tell an exact date) will be updated to work with the changes of the new CoH patches.

    Hi guys,
    here some informations about the actual progress concerning the ToV compatible release of my mod v140.

    So far I managed the following things:

    - included the new M18 model
    - included the new Hotchkiss (Stuka) to PE
    - included the new Tiger model including the smoke launcher animation, ap-mines etc.
    - included the new german artillery pit with lFH18, replacing the "old" one I used before
    - included direct fire ability to all tanks with rotating turrets

    already intended:

    - to include the kangaroo carrier
    - to include some new interesting abilitys from ToV

    The AI has some new fatal errors. Tank Depots/Factorys are rarely build and the CW trucks will not set up any more. I think I managed to fix mostly all of these new bugs, only the PE isn`t building the T3/T4 buildings as supposed so far...

    Also my new infantry 5 ranks vet system is now defective and has optical bugs. This will be quite a lot of work to fix this...

    Perhaps it will be an alternative for me to release a public beta of v1400. Otherwise it could take weeks to complete a more bug free version, because my free time to work on my mod is currently very short compared to the recent past... what do you think?
