    My mate and i can't play the mod together - it says 'Incompatible gameversion'

    How can we fix this?

    This is a "bug" from CoH. Both of you have to set the modelquality to "High" und the modeldetail to "Max." in your options. Finally, be sure that both of you start the same version of Blitzkrieg (MP or SP).

    We tried it in many different ways.

    Only those two settings set to same, and then all setting set to the same - but no luck everytiime :S

    @Splinter54: Does anyone of you have other Mods, namely extra Skins or such installed at the same time when launching BK-Mod? Then this will happen too because the other player doesn't have that extra skins/Modfiles. All players need the exact same version to play. If one of you has another skinpack installed, either he has to delete it or the other one has to install that too to make BK work.

    I suggest playing only with the BK-Mod and no other Mods that could interfere with BK installed.

    I used to have an modified art.sga, but since the last two patches i just have the vanilla one, so no modified skins for CoH/OF

    just gave the sp-version a shot. played really fine so far. rough and hard gameplay, that mg42 is awesome, and tanks are real monsters in this mod

    but i have problems with the unit-descriptions. there were missing a lot of them. *.ucs file seems to be in correct place.

    will they be added in the future?

    The descriptions should be fully shown. Please take a look in your /Engine/Locale/German (or English) folder. There should be ONLY the RelicCoH.ucs ! If you find other .usc files please remove them, otherwise the no key errors will stay...

    ok, that did the trick. there was another *.ucs 'hidden'. thanx a lot, Xalibur.

    Then (as others pointed out earlier) go to the:

    Company of Heroes/Engine/Locale/German (or English) folder and remove all .ucs files EXCEPT the "RelicCoH.ucs" one. Make sure you check for hidden files in there. If there are other files than the "RelicCoH.ucs" one, the "No Key-Error" occurs.

    I found one in the german one from a realism mod..Removing.Hope for the best ja?and do i need to take the UCS out of the local and put it in the main engine local?

    Yepp, remove it. Other .ucs files then the RelicCoH.ucs one conflict with the Blitzkrieg Mod!

    €dit: No, leave it where it was installed (in the Blitzkrieg/Locale folder).

    I really like this, normally I get bored and go back to my own, but this is fun, the ai seem more intelligent than mine though . Keep it up!

    I love this mod. The tank battles are great!!

    I do hope to see you add more to this mod, perhaps some Panzer III’s and Early version Marder III’s.

    I activated the MOD via the shortcut keys that was included and I lost all my .sga maps. The only way to get my .sga maps to work with this MOD is if I tick the -dev box in Mannerheim's Launcher. With the -dev switch on will I be able to connect via LAN to other players?

    Hope you can answer this soon... I'm planning a LAN Party this Sunday with this MOD as the guest of honor.

    Xali, I noticed that in your mod, when the King Tiger is unmanned, the tank commander hatch also shuts, and only when there is a vehicle crew inside does the Panzer Ace pop out of the command hatch. Is there any way to make a tank commander to stick out of the Tiger too? I'm not requesting anyone to do it in their mod, just asking how to do it myself. I noticed that the KT's abp file had the line "..\\..\\..\\Commonwealth\\Soldiers\\Vehicles\\Tank _Commander", and that the Tiger doesn't have it. But when I added the line to the Tiger's abp file, nothing happened.

    Very Nice mod ,but I have my objections/suggestions :
    1. As you have 5-7 person units you must add different uniform types like the Bob mod
    2. Some skin are very dark like Jagdpanther
    3. Maybe it will be better for a SP mod to leave the units into the basic/original strength, attributes .
    4. As I saw you made some exelent skins use more different variation and include div decals
    Anyway besides the above is very vast and huge Mod ,I like it a lot but in my opinion It will be better with the original specification for each unit.

    I love the mod! one question.. I downloaded v1.35 and installed the mod and the shortcut and everything says Blitzkrieg (MP) how do you play the single player version from what I have downloaded or did I miss something? any help would be lovely. I would like to see one of these tank battles everyone is talking about. TANKS!

    I think you missed to tick the "SP-Version" box during the installation so simply reinstall and tick all checkboxes.

    I did some digging and apparently MODS can be packed in sga format which completely cancels the need for a -dev switch which I heard can cause some connection problems. Xalibur, if you're interested, I recommend talking to Mannerheim or Warnstaff (just in case you don't know how to do it). I hope it helps.... Again thanks for this wonderful MOD!

    DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THE BLITZKRIEG MOD

    I - MP-VERSION

    The MP-Version is for PLAYER-VERSUS-PLAYER battles (= Multiplayer only). In this version there are tankcrews which are needed to get tanks to shoot/drive/whatever.
    It's NOT recommended to use AI-controlled players in this version, since they CAN'T use the tankcrews!


    II - SP-VERSION

    The SP-Version is for playing against the AI, either in Co-op (= together with other players) or in skirmish battles. In this version there are NO tankcrews, so the AI can still use tanks.
    This version is NOT made for playing the campaign but for playing against AI-controlled players!
    (Althought the campaign can still be played with the SP-version, but that's not the main-purpose)

    yes, that`s what I thought when I read this. So don`t be afraid I will not change something in this direction.

    @Georider: I spend hundrets of hours in modding to get this state of gameplay. Husky is right when he says that this would ruin the purpose of the mod. I made many many LAN-partys with my private friends and it was a hard way to develop a good balancing. This is the main complexity when you are making a mod like mine. An one of the main causes for me to start making my mod was the unrealistic vanilla weapon damage system...

    this mods great, i like all the new new units, but the ai isnt that good it just builds lots of engineers, and why are all the infantry units in one place it gets a bit crowded ? also how does multiplayer work i use the mp shortcut but its just like normal coh and all the matches are greyed out.

    First -- Xalibur -- *vielen dank* for all your amazing work -- your skins are fantastic, and i love the idea of this mod.

    But I'm also experiencing the same thing red devil mentions about the AI.

    I've played the SP version the last few days -- maybe 6 games in all -- and I've never had a tank battle -- !

    I've been playing as Wehrmacht and PE -- so maybe that's part of the problem? -- but the Amis and Brits haven't built a tank in any of the games I've played, with the exception of the Stuart light tank. And the British spam the Tetrarch (which my Pz IV's destroy in one shot).

    The American AI spams dozens and dozens of anti-tank guns. Actually the only time I've seen a Sherman was in one game on "Rails & Metal" when I was already mopping up the AI in his home base -- it finally built a Sherman, and my Panther blew it up in one shot even before it could make it all the way out of the Tank Depot (admittedly that was pretty funny to see).

    I've tried different size maps -- small, med, extra large -- and I never see the AI build tanks!

    I didn't mean it for the MP only I only talking about SP whatever from a second thought the mod is great .From the last I write ,keep only the numbers of the troop . Very good effort again .
