Can't start the beta, missing file?

Hi,

I have downloaded the Beta, but when I try to launch it, I get a notice that a xlive.dll is missing, and that I should re-install the beta.

After reinstalling 2 times, I tried to go to the DOW2 forums, but they are down.

What should I do to get the missing file?

I think when I installed I was missing that file, I used the verify the local files option and after that I could play. Either that or you need to install the Games for Windows Live utility, where that particular dll comes from, IIRC.

1. Hit 'Very Local game cache integrity' in steam for the game in question.

2. google the missing dll, throw it in the game folder.
