    Welcome to the Forums!

I can tell you right now, not enough Synapse.

The major problem is that your main gribblies, the gaunts, need that synapse. Hive tyrants in 1750pts can be taken down pretty easy by focused fire. Your Zoanthropes aren't fast enough to keep up with the Gaunts and your Broodlord has a too small bodyguard. I would advise Getting some winged warriors in that list somehow. You don't really need your Zoanthropes. One is a good idea for a bit of ranged anti tank, but three is just a points sink.

I like 3 Zoanthropes - I take my Biovores and Zoans all in groups of three and spread them across the rear line equally so you won't lose all your eggs should the basket fall.

2-3 Lictors are good if they attack the same target too.

As stated by nareik though, get some Warriors! I am a firm believer and follower of strict Tyranid Warrior builds and you will surprise yourself when you adjust to using them just how flexible they can become for your army, and how overlooked they are by your opponents who laugh at the absence of Hive Tyrants.

You've got plenty of synapse. 5 synapse for 3 gaunt broods... way plenty.

As for dropping, I would ditch the spinegaunts. Or at least drop to only 8. That way they can still screen for the HT/Guards, but save 80pts.
You could also drop 2-3 HGs per brood and still be effective with them. Especially if you can get them near a lictor/stealer/Blord with Feeder tendrils.
And don't let the No Retreat rules scare you too much, it still works to pair them with a fex, as long as you are somewhat careful about your target.

    Now, for spending points. ;-)

Add 2 stealers, and then split them into 3 broods of 8
give the retinue flesh hooks too.
I would give the flyrant some other upgrades... +WS or +I, or....
Come on, as sweeping generalisations go, it's not a bad one. -CFoley
