    Exo Elites Wargear mod, is back! #447 Waiting for latest patch to finish off.

    After an very long long time, delays and more, I ha
    ve finally released the update in two parts, place the sga's inside GameAssets\Archives
    Features Include
    Force commander totally changed
    Veteran squad added to the Space Marine race
    And Finally added highest ranking wargear to Ork heroes, Eldar heroes
    The Techmarines head has been somewhat team colourable more then the other version, main part of the helmet is under primary, and the tint is 3rd, and some other features.

    This is to be put under
    game:attrib

    Part two link:

    This is to be put under

    Ucs needed for the veteran squad

    It is to be put in: GameAssets\Locale\Whateverlangauge
    Warning:Make a backup of the other one. Also, delete the older version.
    well, took me ages to do but after all I have been taking alot of breakes due to my illness.

    The things like attrib are for the module alot of people got confused by it before because I never stated what to put in the module.
    Like for example:
    [attrib:common]
    folder.01 = GameAssets\Data
    archive.01 = GameAssets\Archives\wargear_patched.sga
    archive.02 = GameAssets\Archives\GameAttrib.sga
    And at the bottom I would have:
    [data:common]
    folder.01 = GameAssets\Data
    archive.01 = GameAssets\Archives\Wargear_patch.sga
    archive.02 = GameAssets\Archives\GameArt_DELTA.sga
    archive.03 = GameAssets\Archives\GameArt.sga
    archive.04 = GameAssets\Archives\GameArtEnvironment_DELTA.sga
    archive.05 = GameAssets\Archives\GameArtEnvironment.sga
    archive.06 = GameAssets\Archives\GameArtEnvironmentTextures_DELTA.sga
    archive.07 = GameAssets\Archives\GameArtEnvironmentTextures.sga
    archive.08 = GameAssets\Archives\GameMaps_DELTA.sga
    archive.09 = GameAssets\Archives\GameMaps.sga
    archive.10 = GameAssets\Archives\GameDefault_DELTA.sga

    Features to come soon:
    Replace the force commanders weapon part (which was deleted due to IMBAniss.) to helmet changer each one gives the commander different abilitys.

    and make a backup of you module file and add this:
    archive.01 = GameAssets\Archives\wargear_light/full.sga

    Just FYI, for the commander, the badge on the pauldron is reversed, though with some emblems you can't tell.

    sorry... it is a bit late or I am stoopid...

    do I edit the DOW2.modules file with
    archive.01 = GameAssets\Archives\wargear_light/full.sga

    in the attrib or data section?

    Well thats my next thing to do actually, so ill try to get that done problem is, I would need a RBF editor, it is possible without, but it would take ages.

    Im already using Copernicus' Pop cap mod so in the module file is it okay if i change it to this

    archive.03 = GameAssets\Archives\wargear_light/full.sga

    will it still work this way?

    Haha just did, i got an error and it didnt even launch oh wellz guess ill remove the pop cap mod. On a further note i cant wait for corsix's mod tools MAN its unbearable.

    Or you can try flipping a slash around, namely the / slash to a \ slash.

    Also Exo, would it be possible to give the FC at the main menu Thule's armour (and someone elses) with the eagle on the shoulder?

    yea i cant get it to work either, after reading some post i found i have to add the line in the data section, but its unclear weither i overwrite archive.01 = GameAssets\Archives\GameArt_DELTA.sga or just add it at the bottom, but when i overwrite it i get an error. lol i must be an idiot coz i feel like one right now.

    Put the SGA in your Dawn of War 2\GameAssets\Archive folder

    Open up the DOW2.Module in your main folder in notepad, at the very bottom there should be a section like

    [data:common]
    folder.01 = GameAssets\Data

    make a new line and insert

    archive.01 = GameAssets\Archives\wargear_full.sga

    (or if you have the lite version change full to lie) directly underneath the folder.01 line and then just change the number of the lines below it so that it goes 01,02,03,04 etc etc

    Okay you have to overwrite it, it was a tad bit unclear it has to be

    archive.01 = GameAssets\Archives\Wargear_Full.sga

    Hi {Exo}{Elite} could you please make an SGA so that the FC uses Gabriel Angelos model with his armour and cape? I think Gabriel would make a better Force Commander than the currect one.

    Edit: sorry the release is delayed theres some problems, with some of the models.

    Ok, im obviously doing something wrong, ive stuck the SGA file in the assets folder and edited the module file as instructed (using Textpad) but i still cant get it to work, i added the line and followed these instructions.

    Hi, a weird question....
    Great the new "Gabriel armor" but (in memory of my lost years of wh40000 player) character are shows without helmet.
    (ok... there are same with it... )

    there is a simple mode to let the "full wargear sga" in game and see the face of our character ?

    I have take a look at the file stored in the full wargear...
    (there are many with named "head..." and i think that... without it
    the normal head will stay as its place )

    only the number of file to import in package stop me

    (i admit... drag and drop... i'll miss you )

    Try to leave him alone (check the numeration of archive file)
    you can deactivate the line with a ";"

    you can even try to switch the position of the two mod file
    to try if this help you.

    I give up, the only thing ive successfully loaded is the extra (bonus,preorder) wargear, the extra colors in the army painter.
    Ive tried this Wargear mod, the pop cap 200 mod and the corpse stay mod. None of them work.
    Ive tried dev mode which is necessary for the colors, doesn't help with the other mods. Im lost.
    Its almost like the module file isnt reading the lines i edit.

    Quick question.

    Why did you take away the squad insignia and give them those scull things?

    I love the aquilla armor but could you make it so that it's the color you chose as the detail color instead of that silver color?

    Shuma, would you mind either telling me exactly how you got the mod installed and working ? or possibly copying and pasting your module file so i can compare it to mine and see what i might have done wrong ?

    Also are you running the game in -dev mode or not ?

    Yes i'm running the game on dev mode but it's not needed for this.

    Bassicaly, you just place the .sga in Gameassets/Archives, and my module file looks like this:
