I think I'll make a whole PE package, turning PE completely into a Luftwaffen unit.
From left to right:
1. Luftwaffe Bodentruppen Squad Leader
2. Luftwaffe Bodentruppen
3. Flak Crew
4. Panzer Grenadier
5. Tankbuster
Missing skins:
- Fallschirmjäger Squad Leader
- Fallschirmjäger
- Luftwaffen Panzermann

very nice mate, the wired helmet one is great, the cap guy is awesome indeed.
I like your idea of turning the PE as Luftwaffe units
Can't wait to see your next work and download it :P
Are those leaves the ones @TD released?
EDIT: I may have some ideas for your new skins or planned if u want some reference or hear my ideas just let me know, just as a side note...it may be possible to do this?

I couldn't find a bigger picture...I think this can be done in the same skin don't u think? anyway thx for the previews.

The skins look great, but I thought they had grey tunics and blue trousers? Also, the red rank insignia was reserved for FlaK, whereas Field Divisions used green and Fallschirmjaeger used yellow.

Also, if you're making Fallschirmjaeger, I would recommend checking this out:

Splinter would the best looking, but Green and Marsh (tan and water) would be great for some variety, especially Green for their namesake, "Green Devils".![]()
Tankers and additional Jägervariation:
@Gamerisin:
Yeah that are TDs leafs.
I also thought about such Zeltbahn worn as camosuit, but I don't think that this will look any good without a new model as base (I think only Voss coat would suit)
@eliw00d:
I based those skins on Osprey - Luftwaffe Field Divisions 1941-45, according to this they looked like that.
For the Fallis I currently plan to make them look pretty much like the LwFD guys, with Splittermuster, blue trowsers and blue helmets (have to research on that). I know Sumpftarn but it doesn't suit together with the Splittermuster (I like my units to look homogeneous)

cool...about the coat, don't worry it's ok and the Fallshirm...well as you said everyhting else will fit...I mean your idea of making them like the LwFD is correct(with Splittermuster, blue trowsers and blue helmets)
Can't wait![]()
Hi Slayer,
The Luftwaffe skins looks good , Rework of the field gray uniforms are rare and now we have choices .

Ten soldiers wisely led will beat a hundred without a head.
Fair enough. And upon closer inspection, it appears that the splittermuster variations have a gray tunic underneath, so I suppose you just put a blue overcoat on the regular guys.Originally Posted by Slayerknecht
Question, though: in the picture with the 5 variants, the 3 guys on the left are FlaK crew, the 2 on the right are Jäger; in the picture with 3, the guy on the left is a Jäger and the 2 on the right are Flak crew with splittermuster? Is that correct?
Also, if you could have a variation of the Fallschirmjäger that has a splitter helmet cover, I would love you forever.
I went through the bundes archives doing research on Falls and there are a lot of pictures of them with the helmet cover, some plain and some with leaves. You'll see the occassional bare steel helm, or steel helm with chicken wire (with and without leaves).
Keep up the good work! I look forward to using these.
P.S. I went through this thread and saw you had made Finnish infantry (I am of Finnish descent), but I can't find a picture or download - same goes for some other things here. Were they lost?![]()
Fantastic skins, Slayerknecht. I love them all, my personal favourite is the US paratrooper one. But I love the other ones as well. Keep it up!
Those are really nice skins indeed. Great stuff
R.I.P MrScruff-A very talented and valued friend who is sorely missed
Hey slayer - nice work
And from the suspended Geo -
" these are very good but need to add pockets in this left the LW crew the splinter pattern A LW grenadiers must be a little Darken , Generally He is on his way to overhelm me , GO ON ...."![]()
Oh thanx dudes.
The right ones are supposed to be tankers. They are based on a photo:Question, though: in the picture with the 5 variants, the 3 guys on the left are FlaK crew, the 2 on the right are Jäger; in the picture with 3, the guy on the left is a Jäger and the 2 on the right are Flak crew with splittermuster? May I kindly request a splittermuster helmet cover variation, too?

Your skins are great.I'm waitinf for your luftwaffe skins !
I think it's part of Sphinx' pack. But note it's mainly Halftracks work.
@ Slayer, i have problem playing the US Airborne skin ingame.I've installed it using SkinInstaller and then when I click the Paratrooper paradrop ability, the game crashes into my desktop.
JungleGuerilla's Mini-ModsIf they throw rocks at you, try throwing Panther shells at them would'ya?
Ok seems there really is a prob with the model files, copy the files from data\art\models\races\allies\soldiers\17ABD\17ABD\model into data\art\models\races\allies\soldiers\shared_textures, delete the 17ABD folder and the paratrooper.sbp .
Those AB skins rock. Btw, did anybody notice the bug with the alphad-out backpack? It has some black parts what didn't disappear.
Yeah that's a typical prob you have when you alpha out stuff.
@ Slayer, I did what you say but the 17ABD folder is attached to my every mod folders when I opened corsix.I tried to remove it and reinstall again but nothing works.

Guerilla, of course it seems to be in every mod, you overwrote the original Relic skin int he WW2Art.sga archive, so as far as the game and Mod Studio is concerned those are the original skins. You need to delete the WW2Art.sga file, place your backup copy back in Company of Heroes\WW2\Archives\, then make the corrections Slayer suggested in the Data folder before using the SkinInstaller, then run the SkinInstaller.
Now of course if you forgot to make a backup of WW2Art.sga then it Re-install time!
@ LD and Slayer, tnx for your help!Nice skins for the Paratroops Slayer!

Hi Slayer ,
Nice work , I liked the PE luftwaffe ,Tank Crews and US paratroopers more .The skins have a Dusty feel to it ...It is nice.
Regards
funnyme
Great work on the whole pack, I like how you standardized the Wehrmacht as the Heer with these new models. However, I would like some elaboration on the PE - did you remake the tankhunter/assault grenadier models and are the 2 models next to Voss his replacements?
The PE Panzergren is the front one with the camofulaged helmet, teh Assault gren the fully camouflaged with steel helmet on teh first PE pic. I use the soldiers on the Voss Screen as Sd.Kfz. 250 crew.
Downloadlink has been added.
Wow, these are great.
I cannot wait to see them in-game.

@Thiky: In the CoH timeframe there were no more decals (there was an official order to scratch them away - not sure). Also the CoH helmets are mirrored.
I hear it with a regret.
I was looking at pictures though, that would be possible this.
This is reflect too?
