Crashing since TOV installed

Hi

I have COH , OF and just got TOV lastest patch etc..

Lastest sound , vide ocard drivers..

Vista 64bit fully updated SP1

All other drivers up to date..

Geforce 260

Sound card is Creative Extreme gamer


CPU Intel Q6600

PC temps fine...

But since TOV has been installed now and again I can be in the lobby and I cant type in chat rooms and game list goes blank then crashes to the desktop

Then in game sometimes it just locks up looping sound of firing...

I have to restart pc not go out of COH via task bar its a hard full pc crash

But sometimes it goes to this bug report thing so I fill in the box email address etc,, It gathers some info dont know what then sends it to relic..


Any one else get this?

If it does happen again I shall send in dxdaig etc..

Yet I can play 7 games + then crash..

Can you post a warnings.log immediately after you crash please tommy? That one looks ok.

2 crashes with in a few mins

A in lobby trying to join a game..

and B is me starting up a game

I looked in the B one and says files missing or something? paths?


Yet missions replays work fine

They're both bailing during network activity it would seem.

Thank you for helping me and may I just ask you what you ment by the error you noticed .. Is it my end or Relics servers?

May I also just ask you please I have had the Relic error reporting tool thing come up a few times.

It scans my pc and sends some info to Relic . What does it send them?

Is it the DXdiag , warnings file?

A couple of those things could be messing with you.

Can you google for and download LSPFIX.exe and run it? It will show you a list of installed files, can you report that list of files (or just post a screenshot of the app).

I have the same problem!
Iv played the to first campaings in TOV, but the last one, with the nazis making a last stand, it crashes after a while.
Plz help me aswell

Do you get looping sound and screen frezzing and does a error reporting thing come up once it goes to desktop... Do you have to restart pc? Cos everytime i do...

What grahics and sound card do you have?

@Orhtex, your problem seems to be completely different. It's a whole lot easier if we deal with one user and one set of problems per thread.

Please read the READ THIS FIRST sticky thread, then create a new thread for your problem and post the requested files.

Tommy, those files look good.

I got the exact same crash last night, and I *suspect* that's one of the things fixed in the 2.502 patch that's due out today.

Thank you for your help Uberjumper you been doing this a long time on here. So you had a crash? Well since this new patch I played 6 games last night after installing it and no crash.... So you might be right. It was spoiling the game for me and getting a lost cos of it seemed unfar.. Thank you for looking at the files for me...

What does the error reporting tool that comes up after a crash it sends files what does it send please?

But please keep this thread open just in case of another crash please...

You can look at the data it sends when it comes up... basically it's your game configuration, the warnings.log and some crash data information.
