Finally! I can have the Germans speaking German again. Have downloaded and tried it.
Just a little tip for those who have not done this. It is much better to make a copy of your CoH module file and rewrite it instead of replacing all the original sound files.

Only bug i found so far, for me anyway. Is that there is no voices for the PE Panther squad.

I don't know how this exactly work i downloaded everything and replacing them with the old file. When i start the game only the panzer elite speak german and the original german faction don't. i do notice that the axis speech file is german dot sga. And the original one is axis speech file with dot english sga.


please give me a solution

Sniper, did you replace the file name AxisspeechEnglish*.sga by your Langage (ie AxisspeechFrenc or whatever) ?

I changed my file from german.sga to english.sga and it seemed to have fixed what i thought was missing sound files. I wasen't paying attention at all to the filename until i read Der snipers comment. Of course one could just as well edit the module and have the line that says AxistSpeechEnglish to German instead, or vice versa.

Ok, i manage to download the files, its much more better and realistic when the germans are speaking properly, but there are missing sounds i think. For example when its quiet on the battlefield the wehrmacht soldiers are talking to each other too low, or when i choose some ability from the doctrine menu there is no any sound or speech like in the english version, or when i finish upgrade in the HQ there is not any sound again. Is there any way that this could be fixed? By the way there are not such problems with PE.

It seems like these files are significantly smaller than the ones the replace. Maybe that's why sounds are missing...

Yes, always backup origninals. Most likely you will be able to use these for the next patch, if not expect an update as these are quite popular.

Put all the files that you downloaded in Archives and rename AxisSpeechGerman (Or something like this) to English.

Yay, this is a really nice thing, but I find that the voices volumes are slightly inconsistent. I knw it's not your fault, it's just grenadiers seem to be loudmouths while the tanks are quiet.

It looks like serg_codmod havnt been here for a while and the filefront links are broken (including mine).

Ill start reuploading the files (hope it is ok for you serg_codmod if you read this), however I do not have the campaign files so you will have to manage without them.

Uploading speed: 15,98 KB/s, this is going to take a while and the damn filefront wont allow me to upload more than 1 file at the same time...
