Question about role-variation.

    Question about role-variation.

    I'm trying to put a radio on a Airborne leader, Ranger leader, Tommy leader, Luftwaffe leader, and a Fallschrimjager leader, and I get the missing rgm boxes.

    I have the ebps done and the abp's have this line under model:

    "..\\..\\..\\Environment\\Art_Ambient\\Objects\\NIS _Objects\\CXP1\\NIS_N01_01_Radio",

    what am I doing wrong?

    I made seperate abps for the leaders. So how can I take off the backpacks of those seperate soldiers? The backpacks conflict with the radios.

    Another question, that radio isn't the same radio that the Rifleman leaders have. Where is that radio? I can't find it in the art section.

    I found another one called radiopack, but it's upside down, and I don't think it's the same radio.

    that radio is already into the file of the soldier it has done with leader_ext if you remove that one the radio will be gone too but he wont give any handsignal anymore
    thats why i reccomand alpha_channeling the radio out
    but deleting leader_ext in the ebps file is the easy way

    I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're saying.

    I couldn't find any alpha channeling how-to in the how-to section, and I don't have Photoshop.

    go to the ebps from the sargent u were having and delete the leader_ext ( richt click delete ) than the 2 radios wont collide.

    The Rifleman Sergeant?

    I was thinking if I could find the radio file in the art, I could put it in the abps or make copies to put it in each abps. Because I don't want to mess up the Rifle sergeant.

    I still don't understand. I don't want to make a radio operator lol. I just want that radio on the soldier.

    yes but the best way to do that is by following this tutorial.

    That tutorial just shows how to copy the rifle sergeant, and give him call-in abilities. It doesn't show how to put the radio on other models.

    well u need to use alpha_channeling to get rid of the backpacks or that will stick trough the radio and u were on the richt track with that Nis_Model the only thing u have to to is get rid of that backpack and put in that line

    Well see it was a different radio. I don't know where the radio the Riflemen have is.

    in the rifleman skin go to data\art\models\races\allies\shared_textures and look for rifleman rgt in there you will find the radio you have been looking for.

    Well I see the radio but I don't know what to do with it, I don't know a thing about skinning or channeling and I don't have any software for it.

    than u Must use the other radio oky do the following go to data\art\models\races\panzer_elite and search for the abp of the falschrimjager make a copy named Radio_Fallschrimjager than go into it and add "..\\..\\..\\Environment\\Art_Ambient\\Objects\\NIS _Objects\\CXP1\\NIS_N01_01_Radio", without spaces

    than go to ebps\races\panzer\elite and serach for the falscrimjager_leader if you found it go in there and go to entity_blueprint_ext ( double click on entity_blueprint_ext ) than look for animator you will see Races\PanzerElite\Soldiers\Fallshirmjager change that into Races\PanzerElite\Soldiers\Radio_Fallshirmjager once in game you will see a fallschrimjager with a radio
