The majority of the Allied Armor is made by relic only few models did not like M-20 ,M-24 (which have saw action at 1945) etc. Rilic did not pay so much attention in models like 234 with pack 40 or 234/4 , Panzer III /N ,jagedpanzer IV , pack 40 , sdkf 10 with 20 mm aa gun , JajedTiger, Wespe, etc etc.
Aye was wondering about the comet too, finally something to replace the firefly
So how are you planning on releasing the new units if you dont mind me asking?
You could add them in as a replacements so people dont necessarily have to lose an exisiting unit or risk their game getting unbalanced
The tutorial for it is here

Good work and good luck
I too was woundering about that panter. But If Scruff's busy with other projects thats understandabul. Eather way keep up the fantastic work!
Do I have to do the threads or can I leave them? (When making a model)
I love your skins but until you tell me how to install them in TOV, i believe from the posts some one else asked the question.![]()
yea the other person was you.I love your skins but until you tell me how to install them in TOV, i believe from the posts some one else asked the question
@MrScruff F**king awsome skins/models mate cant w8
Tanks with different Rust spots Look great!
The skin are perfect but just one problem.
For the models like tanks can the rust spots be different so that two same tank model will not be the same and it add more realistic to the game and more fun. (as the rust spots is very obvious in the moddle so not like those without spot but with paint only)
Minor works for changing the rust spots only but may invloved lot of work to change to the program to make it appear randomly in the game.![]()
Nice.It looks and feels like it was in the original all along.
"Fire and maneuver. That's the name of the game."
Not that it seems very likely- but could the jagdtiger skin/model be used a a replacement for the jagdpanther (with the same stats) installed with the skininstaller and be used in online play?
I guess not, but it just made me drool... Nice work McScruff![]()
Why isn't the gun barrel animated? It doesn't move horizontally and vertically when aiming like it should. Maybe that's why the turning sped of a whole vehicle has to be too high. I hope it's going to be fixed.

JagedTiger must have equal stats as Tiger II and the swap must be between these two.ot that it seems very likely- but could the jagdtiger skin/model be used a a replacement for the jagdpanther (with the same stats) installed with the skininstaller and be used in online play?![]()
But that would not work in online multiplayer.... with turret issues etc... Oh well, thanx Geo.

Very nice MrScruff! Please let me make a reward unit for this, for you! (PM me for it).

You don't need them to have equal stats for a reward unit swap, they just need to be of equal value. The Jagdtiger and Kingtiger are of fairly close value, just need to assign some plausible drawbacks (lack of turret, slow speed, etc.) and you end up with a balanced reward unit.

If you can get your hands on the model and skin files... then yes, so long as the model files are named and placed properly to replace the Jagdpanther, you could install it with the skin installer and use the model. Not that it seems very likely- but could the jagdtiger skin/model be used a a replacement for the jagdpanther (with the same stats) installed with the skininstaller and be used in online play?
Well...
nice StuG!
But I don't think it's good about flag on Hull
PZ4 and Gwagon..
@MrScruff Just wondering if it is possible to do the same foliage things on infantry skins nrm files (or however you do it) as you do on the vehicle skins. Might be interesting to see a sniper in some sort of foliage camo suit, A "Ghillie suits" or "Yowie suit" as we call here in Australia.
Cheers

That's freaking great news Lethal Dosage!
McScruff, (we could do this ourselves off course,) I am sure A LOT of us skin junkies with love to use your jagdtiger as a jagdpanther replacement. Would you be interested in releasing it with as such?
Anyways- great work!
oh my god really cool panther changing the model 2 I guess![]()
no - no new model:
the foliage is a new rgm-file and added in abp.
...you can use the foliage on every other panther!
The front bushes are excellent add on , you also leave the add on 's that you add with the modify of NRM , this is good ,though the side tree staff is kind strange , very good approach.
Does the foliage lagging while vehicle is moving or it moving smoothly?
watch the video...Originally Posted by DemoSS

wait, i don't quite understand what you've done with that, have to added foliage floating on the panther then mixed it so it looks part of the model or something?
looks good either way
foliage is a own rgm file...
abp file looks like this:
"Panther",
"..\\..\\..\\axis\\decals\\panther_decals",
"..\\..\\Soldiers\\Vehicles\\Gunner_Turret",
hope you understand me - panther_decals is a new file...
greez

That looks amazing.
Are you going to do that to your existing skins as well?

...put decals folder in axis-folder in data and, change
panther.abp file to this:
"Panther",
"..\\..\\..\\axis\\decals\\panther_decals",
"..\\..\\Soldiers\\Vehicles\\Gunner_Turret",
This is so awesome MrScruff. So I suppose this means that it can be eventually added to all tanks right?
yes and no - this foliage is especial for panther...Originally Posted by Soldier13

You cover me , Excellent work mate , I like it a lot now that I have pay a more close look.yes and no - this foliage is especial for panther...

My extremely limitid IQ prevents me from figuring out how to adding the foliage to other tanks.
If anyone could be bothered to to a complete step by step, I would be much obliged.
And fantastic work McScruff.![]()
First place the decals folder into data\art\models\races\axis.
Then the panther skin into ...axis\vehicles\panther\panther\model and extract the panther.abp from your WW2Art.sga in your COH Archives using Corsix.
Edit the .abp by adding this line:
"..\\..\\..\\axis\\decals\\panther_decals",
Save it and place the .abp file into ...axis\vehicles\panther.
Install the skin using Skininstaller and you should be all set.
download this: (panther & decals)
http://www.file-upload.net/download-...ecals.rar.html
install via skin-installer:
and you have no online-problems!
The decals also working on every panther V and they are excellent , I have test these in one of my Panthers. Excellent work . Are you have any more ideas about Stug or Panther IV?

Awesome MrScruff! Finally mixing unanimated models to vehicles has an upside!
I'd be great if you had the time to make a variety of foliage models which can be mixed with various vehicles. I think at the very least the common Axis vehicles would love some foliage (PzIV, StuGIV, Sdkfz250, Sdkfz251, Tiger and the Opel Blitz), i think you could probably save some time and only make a couple of generic models to suit basic model sizes;
1. Long vehicles (Opel Blitz & CCKW 352 trucks & the assorted Halftracks)
2. Small tanks (Stuart, Tetrach)
3. Medium tanks (PzIV, StuGIV, Sherman, Cromwell, etc.)
4. Large Tanks (Churchill, Pershing, Tiger, King Tiger, etc.)
But of course it's up to you if you want to actually make a pack, and wether you want to do a foliage model for each vehicle or just a set of generic models which'll fit various model sizes (or if thats even possible). Either way it's very promising, and you've done well!
Hi scruff,
here are some original photos of german camouflaged tanks, using brushwood... perhaps you can use these as inspiration for further decals

Hey!
The skininstaller version of the panther works beautifully, and the foilage looks fantastic! However, I prefer my skins camoed, so I used another skin to overwrite the current one. The foilage remained and looked great, but all the 'bits' like wire etc were gone (Except the marks- u know what I mean) Are these implemented in the SKIN itself, or could I use the details together with the foilage?
Keep up the awesome work!
if you want a cammo version on panzer I will make one in the future , although that i believe that his sand version is excellent.
The sand version rocks, but I am personally a huge fan of three coloured panzersAnd cool Georider. I'll keep an eye on yer thread.
