Hiigaran Super Crusier

I've just about finished my Hiigaran SuperCruiser/SuperDreadnaught Design.
I designed it to complement the mothership, and act as her defense against battlegroups.
The ship features 2 Sujaak type forward cannons, and various weapon mounts. It's also designed to support a few squads, but how many is up to the modeler/coder who decides to make it ^^

I'd also prefer only 1 be able to be built, since it's SO powerful.

I also have another supercuriser under construction, designed to compliment the first. It uses mainly torpedo/missle technology, with two torpedo bays, similar to the front of a torpedo frigae, mounted on each side of the hanger as seen in the above pics, and a large number of missle bays on the top/bottom and sides. I also intend to include severl anti flak, and perhaps 4 non missle turrets into the design.

Does anyone know where I can find referance pictures for HW2 Missle launchers? I wanted to work them in on my supercruiser2, but I can't seem to find decent close up pics. Also, do the Hiigarans have any other for of missle tech besides torpedos? I was hoping for a missle hatch look, such as the russian typhoon class missle sub, for the top missle launchers on my ship.

More to the point thou, is it possible to run the fighter repair bays verticaly thru the ship, as oppsed to horizontialy as used in the battlecruiser and carrier?

yes you should be able to, carriers in hw1 did, but i dunno if the code is similar.

The Twins are coming along nicely, I think I'm going to have to beef up the super-dreadnaught thou.

The Pride of Kedeshi. Please note the two forward torpedo launchers. The top missle silos are off the Russian Typhoon Class, while I kinda borrowed the side one from the vaygr ^^;; I'm also hoping to add vertical fighter bays to the design, dun know if it's possible yet thou x.x;;



The Pride Of Kushan. This is basically a super dreadnaught, thou I'm not sure where to go from it's current layout.

not to ruin your ideas, but isn't big red, the main model you've based your ships off synonamous with the Vaygr?

Yes, it's the Vaygr Super carrier, but it's flat, liek most hiigarian ships. The color isn't super important, aslogn as I get the design across, and built ^^

Yes, it uses the same hull, but that's ease of standardization for ya ^_-
It's also based on the original concept hiigarian carrier.

Before I start building Docking port on the super carrier, is there any limit tot he orientation on them? can I have vertical pass thru docks similar to t e battlecrusiers?

Also, is it possible to launch strike craft from more then one dock at a time, such as multiple docks launching at once.

um, it's not flat!, it's supposed to be in the same format as other vaygr ships, thin! but do the hell you want

It's horizontally oriented, as opposed to the vaygr's normally vertically oriented ships. I need these modeled in any case, and I have a supercarrier under construction too.

im sorry, but are you actually planning on modelling these, or are you cut/pasting pictures together and hoping someone else will?

Err, you're creating Hiigaran models based on Big Red ? That will look strange, unless you heavily modify the hull/details and texture. But then, you could also base it on the HBC or something.

Bit of cut and pasting, bit of drawing. The textures can be changed, that's just fine. I just thought this was closer to the Hiigarian considering the orientation and the side bridge. I knew it was some vayger/ leftover race relic, but I figured it could still be useful.
I have been looking for someone to model my designs, maybe starting with the hiigarian frigates and workin their way up ^_^;;
