So far I have noticed this only on the WS Brood ability of the WSE.
After clicking the ability, usually there is a large glyph under the pointer. In this bug the mouse pointer changes to the icon used for throwing granades (red target) and the glyph does not appear at all. You can still click on the map and call in units.
I am not sure but I possibly called in a 'stealthed' eldritch storm like this as well.
