    i think for the icon he means that the one that spawns in is a spanner with a parachute behind it, but on the menu it is just a Spanner

    So I thought, but it's not so bad, the squad is a spanner with a parachute, so are identied as airborne engineers, and the icon shows a airborne with a spanner

    But I've found a little problem with the alternative hally point: when we build it, the german (at least) sniper loose his camouflage panel botton...

    @Dartborne - Heyo, First off I'd like to say that I LOVE 6.0, and I hope to see new updates in the future!

    However, acouple of bugs and things to look at:
    Panzer IV Reduction Unlocks for Tank Destroyer and Blitzkrieg don't work at all.

    Tank Destroyer's Crew Experience Unlock only applies to Tanks on the field, not Armor built after that. (The US Airborne Doctrine's Vet 3 Unlock applies to ALL Airborne built regardless of when they were built, so...what gives?)

    American Scouts are literally the toughest unit I've ever seen. (They took down Four 3 man Assault Grenadier units with Group Zeal AND Veteran Sergeant by themselves without even losing a man. Wehr's Scouts are definately not as good!)

    I find that Panzer Elite's Infantry start off extremely lackluster (Which is how it should be, I agree with you there) But even after the player has researched all of the upgrades for them, they are still completely ineffective in comparison to basically every other factions infantry. Perhaps some sort of Upgrade to buff their HP or Damge output? (Or even both, they're that bad to be honest.)

    AT Grenades are woefully ineffective against Vehicles. Is this intended due to their low cost or should they be doing a decent amount of damage? (Four Grenades can't take out a Stuart, for example.)

    Wolfgang is probably the weakest Hero of the Bunch, he can be mortally wounded by an Engineer squad. Perhaps a Health Boost or a buff against incoming damage?

    Regular Panzer Grenadiers (Built from the HQ) Seem to feel the effects of Group Zeal and Veteran Sergeant. Assault Grenadiers and Tankbuster Grenadiers don't seem to benefit from these effects and to be honest are VERY fragile units. (ESPECIALLY the Assault Grenadiers. You need a truckload of them to even get some decent kills!)

    Pak 36/37mm Is absolutely useless against Infantry, I remember that it was designated for Infantry Support as well as Light Anti-Tank duty, so why is it so ineffective against infantry? (Maybe an HE Ammo option?)

    The reason I have so many queries into the Panzer Elite is mainly because I find them the hardest faction to play. Every other faction has work arounds and ways of making even their most useless units effective if used properly.

    Panzer Elite seems to be the least loved faction, as their Infantry are lackluster and incompetent, and their Halftracks which usually are supposed to be supporting them are casually mowed down by 1-2 Rifle squads.

    So I ask you Dartborne, could you please look into these queries of mine? It would be greatly appreciated, and I'm sure many Panzer Elite players would agree with me on this.

    twitchy i find no bugs with the veteran tank upgrade from tank destroyers other than two or three are not effected but PE lack in both heavy armor and good late game infantry perhaps increase tank buster and assault grens hp and armor a bit and ad call tiger or king tiger after getting the panther reinforcement research from the HQ

    I checked all the things you've shown me and I've seen the following:

    -HP have been increased by Wolfgang.
    -production panzer IV upgrade are correct and work fine.
    -The bonus panzer grenadier is correct. Has not changed. PG affect all alike.
    -veteran U.S. tanks upgrade is also correct, it affects the present and future tanks

    Alright, thank you. Did you happen to look into the American Scout's sheer amount of power? I mean, I can manage with the current lackluster Assault/Tankbuster groups, but one Scout unit simply dominates my entire force.

    Maybe some Debuffs for the Scouts? Or even, just a tad increase on HP for Tankbusters and Assaults only? (PE Grens shouldn't be the main battlefield infantry anyways, the Assaults and Tankbusters should be better then them.)

    That might be why, I'd suggest a small decrease in HP though. I don't know, I thought they all had thompsons. I'll take another look into it.

    We are also trying to play this game online and get sync errors on all JO maps. That is REALLY anoying and enough to throw this away though we loved playing it... but if you are unable to finish the maps then where is the point of playing it?

    When a Brummbar is revived by the Bergetiger, it doesn't fire it's main weapon anymore.

    When a Wehrmacht mortar loses a man, it sometimes loses the ability to fire it's main barrage. It can only fire smoke unless reinforced.

    When a JagdpanzerIV is revived by the Bergetiger, it cannot hull down anymore.

    Just thought I'd let you know about these.

    This is one of the best mods that has been released for CoH. The ideas and units placed into the mod are sound, and Dartborne will continue to improve the mod. The only thing that hurts this mod at the moment are the crashes that prevent a long playtime with it. When Dartborne fixes these and he will, the Mod will be the best.

    There were nice features such as the supplie truck which spawns weapons, that was cool. But at the end, its not my taste. Maybee a later version.

    i use steam and you can change the launch options to" -mod Europe_At_War" and should work but i launch by the method in the readme and my short cut path is "D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\company of heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -mod Europe_At_War (however your steam folder will probably be in program files or program files (x86) on windows7)

    i tested your mod and is great .some suggestions
    1 make the docrines names and description a bit more historical and realistic

    for example
    instead of this

    xxxxxxxxx:reduces infantry build time
    to

    mobilization(random example) :now the the war is at a critical point more men enlist at the recruitment offices wanting eagerly to defend their fatherland
    2 what about adding militias or recruits in the all factions)
    i hope you understand what i mean otherwise great work

    Un magnifico trabajo, si señor. Oye, una pregunta, tio: una de las banderas que están con un mástil en el cuartel general de la Wehrmacht, se ve en negro... tiene rastros del "Team colours" a ver si lo puedes corregir... Y otra cosa: esta version 6.1 es compatible con v2.602 del juego?

    Te recomiendo tambien que eches un vistazo a los consejos que da el mod durante la carga de las partidas... hay algun que otro fallo gramatical, como el de "el de la sunidades", queriendo decir "el de las unidades."

    En fin, una pasada de mod tio, suerte y gracias!

    Ok guys, so I seem to be having the same problem installing this mod that I do with Normandy '44.

    I try to install the mod on my Steam copy of CoH in the correct directory, and attempt create a shortcut to run it. It always fails, giving me an error message ""C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\company of heroes\RelicCOH.exe"-mod europe_at_war" specified in the target box is not valid".

    Every thing I attempt to do fails.

    So I tried installing my original CoH (from the disc) and running it through there. It seems to launch but claims I need a new patch to "play online".

    It's very frustrating, not knowing what or where I am going wrong. I really want to try these mods out but I keep falling at the last hurdle.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Ok, so I have managed to do that and it seems to be working. However now the game won't start after double clicking the shortcut. It loads for a split second and refuses continue.

    Any suggestions?

    Just wondering, I got dumped offline a while ago, and haven't been able to get back online with out putting in the Original Disk, which I have, BUT I really hate to have to resort to that. Its my code, its my game, why do I have to be completely at the mercy of their server problems If I just want a skirmish game with this new mod version??

    Anyway this wasn't about me it was the fact that I cant get online right now because their server is down, maybe that's why you cant get yours to work at the moment, you may have fixed it just in time to be disabled by their log in failure

    Yes, it seems that way; all of my other mods open up fine but then ask me to verify the game by inserting my Opposing Fronts CD. Pain in the neck.

    Although the mod still refuses to open, I'll delete it and try again in the morning.

    I just wonder where the StuG III Ausf. G is...? Didn't find it under Tank destroyer doctrine

    Btw: I also wonder why I can't call all my maps within this mod. I've copied all my favourite maps to the c:\users\admin\documents\my games\company of heroes\ww2\scenarios folder so that I can play on every maps no matter what mod I use in this moment.
    With this mod this doesn't seem to work - I only have the choice between the standard maps and the special ones that come with this mod? Why is this and how can I "fix" this? Thanks in advance.

    was my fault. The first installation didn't it, so I was still playing 6.0.

    But with those maps... Hmmmm... What does the mod only accept the maps within the folder you mentioned. Other mods show all my maps as described above. Wghat makes the difference?

    Edit: Found it out by myself. Just in case there are others who ask themselves the same question...

    Look into the *modname*.module file and search for the line

    ScenarioPackFolder = *modulename*\Scenarios

    Alter it to:

    ScenarioPackFolder = ww2\Scenarios

    That's all. This mod will now use the map collection within c:\users\admin\documents\my games\company of heroes\ww2\scenarios

    This way you only need to have one collection without map duplicates.

    I've problem with many mods, EAW + nch + grande Sp.

    More Units are not correct description, example stug III = 1eb$$$5844.

    No Problem with Blitzkrieg mod (very perfect name/description for all this mod).

    I trying to uninstall/re-installing mods but no change...

    OFCoreSpeechGerman.sga, 64814KB
    OFFullSpeechGerman.sga, 896473KB
    WW2AxisSpeechGerman.sga, 296013KB

    Rename them as xxxEnglish.sga, then put into X:\Company of Heroes\WW2\Archives folder, replace original files.

    Maybe you also need these two files:

    DLC1SoundSpeechGerman.sga, 14006KB
    DLC3SoundSpeechGerman.sga, 5411KB

    Put one into X:\Company of Heroes\DLC1(another in DLC3)\Archives folder, also don't forget rename and replace

    sugestion.what about giving to the americans in their building observation point or somethig( the one you build on recources) an iupgrade named garrison that will add one or 2 infantry units(not squads just 2 people)

    Updated to 6.1.1 but game crashing after more minutes of playing.

    Me : British + 1 american
    VS : 3 wermarcht

    Warning log doesn't have 1 exclusive info :

    "20:11:02.30 Warning: upgrade in upgrade prerequisite doesn't exist"
    "20:36:28.10 Warning: upgrade in upgrade prerequisite doesn't exist"

    1 or 2 warning lines/minute


    Update, reproducting problem :

    Select second commander tree : royal commando and after upgrade 3th lines this error message appear in warning.log
