    sorry i cant make it.

    i dont see anything new besides the new pink icon for the upgrades you are reffering in your previous post.

    i ve reinstalled the patch a thousand of times, i have yhe made some module things replacad.

    still nothing.

    but...
    i found three folders of europe at war at my THQ file.

    the one says Europe at War
    and the other Europe at War 5.1.3
    and one other saying Europe at War 5.1.4

    sorry for being a totally idiot but i want to see the new things really badly.

    on a sidenote @dartborne the scouts have the shotguns ready for upgrade from the start of the game just as the bazookas (though bazookas need the support center to be built)
    that was a very clever addition btw...

    You indicated that the squad sizes were going from 4 to 6 but mine has actually gone to 3 to 4. It's very tough to micro manage the smaller squads. Just wondering if I did something wrong in loading. Otherwise love the Mod. It's

    Kotzman is this referring to the standard Panzer Grenadiers or assault and tank buster Grenadiers as standard ones are still at 3-4 while the others are in 6 with bonus weapons assault with an LMG34 Tank busters with 3 G43s
    if not fully re install from 5.1.3

    @Dartbourne - Hey Dart, I was just wondering something. Would you mind shooting me a PM as to how I would open the sga files of your mod and change a skin or two? I find that the Fallschrimjagers and Luftwaffe Ground Forces in particular get on my nerves as to how they look and I'd like to just swap them out as I do for other mods which aren't packed into sgas. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    @Dartborne - Could you possibly put more JointOps/Scripted missions in for future releases?

    Also, my friend and I are having continous Fatal AI Error whenever the "Das Boot" mission reaches the point in which the player needs to reactivate the generators.

    Or, if anything a way to get Custom maps to work with your mod would be lovely. I can get them working fine with other mods, but not yours for some reason.

    if you indicate in das boot, simply press on your keyboard "pause" to resume the game.

    So even if we're in MP and it throws a Fatal Scar error we just press pause on the keyboard? Alright, we'll try it.

    @Dartborne - The lads and I are pretty much at the point where we can't finish a game of your mod without someone crashing. This is rather saddening, as we all actually enjoy it. (Which is something that is EXTREMELY hard to do.)

    Yea Twitchy, this is a great mod, but like you I have trouble finishing a game as well. After playing for a while I get "Fatal AI Error" and that is all she wrote. Mind you sometimes when Im in a certain mood, I just keep hitting pause and sometimes after a really long time it goes away. Go figure??

    Not sure , It may have something to do with flying planes getting stuck or loud explosions like Aircraft bombing, rockets or artillery

    I wrote that there is some problem with the aircraft bombing.
    I play with a friend 2vs2AI. We have good fps 60 -30 but when uses aircraft game crashes. It does not matter who called them AI or me.
    I think that it is a "US" bombing run problem.
    When we played US and i did not call them game worked normally, we finished the map.

    Mod is perfect, a good balance and cool skins, but crashes kills me.

    EXACTLY. I almost always play with the germans, so, the US is on the other side. When they call the bombers (several planes with AP ammunition), the game crashes. Today I played a round with the english and I could finish the skirmish perfectly with the two AI as rivals; no crashes whatsoever.

    Something's make the game crash when the US starts sending those anoying planes. Too bad, cause the mod is EXCELLENT. I hope you can fix it!.

    There's no mention to a possible fix for the US air doctrine bug or any other bug whatsoever (specially randomly AI cashes). Were any at all corrected and you forgot to list them or we'll still have to wait for those answers?.

    Also I'm pretty sure that crashes are caused by planes of any faction or doctrine. It might be caused by pilots inside the planes.

    Hello dartborne

    Ive recently downloaded europe at war v6. I have tried every way i can possibly think to get it to work, but im stuck at the simplest part the adding of the -mod Europe_At_War. Im using vista and steam and ive followed it to every reliccoh.exe i can find. it always says destination path is invalid? please help i have friends playing this and i really want to join them.

    im on steam and vista and it works fine for me just put the whole zip folder into Steam/SteamApps/Common/Company Of Heroes
    Then Make a shortcut of "relic COH" go to property's by right clicking on the shortcut find the target and add " -mod Europe_At_War" at the end Or open steam right click on COH TOV/OF to find properties click on that and find "set launch options" click on that in the new window type " -mod Europe_At_War"
    one the 2 should work (Try both) use the shortcut or the steam loader to play and enjoy!
    if that doesn't work i dont know but Il try help.

    Follow the more simple way to play a CoH mod in Steam:
    1 - open Steam
    2 - in the menu Games, click View Games Library (in the high of the Steam window)
    3 - right click mouse on Company of Heroes in the GAMES column (in the left of the Steam window)
    4 - click on Properties in the pop-up menu (the last option)
    5 - click on the SET LAUNCH OPTION bar...
    6 - in the empty bar type -dev -mod Europe_at_war
    7 - click OK
    8 - close the Company of Heroes - Properties window
    9 - Open the Company of Heroes Steam game.

    To remove the mod do the same and in the 6th step delete -dev -mod Europe_at_war in the bar and click OK...

    To add another modd do the same typing...

    -dev -mod Infantry_tactics

    -dev -mod Eastern_Front

    -dev -mod NHCToV

    -dev -mod Westfront

    -dev -mod EuropeanTheater1944

    -dev -mod Europe_At_War

    -dev -mod KMOD

    -dev -mod AfrikaKorps

    -dev -mod BotB

    -dev -mod Blitzkrieg

    the correct extension is: -mod Europe_At_War without adding -dev, it also works, but you can't connect with other players if they haven't added it

    i dled the EaW v.6 extract to coh dir, add -mod Europe_At_War at the end of the shortcut properties, but the game still run same normal one, can some 1 help me? im running win 7 ultimate, cohof v2.301.0 and currently don't have any other mod.

    not sure if anyone has posted this but the Bridge on Operation Market Garden is impassable, i have to spawn a glider on the other side to complete the objective, my units run to the middle of the bridge and stop, if i tell them to move somewhere along the bridge they run back and go along the other side of the bridge, Perhaps theres something blocking the middle of the bridge?

    Is it possible that the american howitzer 75mm causes Fatal Error?
    It has happenned and (after hiting F10 and to continue the game) when I destroyed this howitzer - handled by AI - the Fatal Error events finished...

    do you mean:

    1. The Engineers and the Howitzer have the same hotkey?
    2. The Howitzer shouldnt spawn in the HQ Glider?
    3. You cant Cancel a barrage when the Howitzer is firing??

    Nice improvements but the crashes, 'fatal scar errors' and sync errors make the game almost unplayable online with friends. have had lots of crashes since 4.0 or so, which seemed much more stable than all the subsequent versions (5.0 > 6.0)

    Can't even finish a game anymore, and none of the EAW co-op maps will finish without crashing. Shame too, they seem very fun.

    --Market Garden bridge for some reason units do not cross properly and get stuck.
    --Fatal Scar Error if the bridge is blown up, forcing everyone to quit
    Eventual sync error or crash every time when online or with friends.

    --Hold The Line sometimes spawns the player as the wrong team or army
    (one time someone spawned as british when the game started after selecting panzer elite on the lobby...on axis team)
    Eventual sync error or crash every time.

    --Operation Neptune - player who is american airborne in Slot 1 takes wayyyy too long to get into the game. We sat there 20 minutes before he could participate and start doing stuff. Give player 1 more starting resources and some units on the opposite river bank to get into the game quicker.

    --Please add information for proper setup in "Map Info" button

    Still some conflicting hotkeys especially the conflict with Hull Down & Manual Fire control...please change that hull down key!!!

    Unit suggestion: Mobile flak 88 truck that can set up to be a flak 88 ,
    hero units such as "Sgt. Taggart" for Axis (limit 1 per player at a time) from Wehrmacht HQ;
    american stationary quad .50 AA like the German 20mm flak

    some suggestions
    --Rangers still do way too much Rocket damage vs. Buildings, way way over powered still.
    --Give Sherman Firefly Armor Piercing round ability like british 17lb AT gun, because the Sherman Firefly uses the british 17lb gun. Should be more effective vs. Panther & Tiger
    --add AP rounds to American / British tank destroyer tanks
    --Give british commando units a Fire-Up ability like American Airborne, increase the damage from their smgs
    --increase british infantry squad speeds, they are way too slow like vanilla coh

    --Medic stations still have no rally point flags when right-clicking a rally location for new medics to run to
    --Remove the "We lost an officer" every time you do an air strike / straffing run
    --allow germans to construct fall back 'rally point' flags like americans for tactical retreats

    yeah veteran tactics on rangers with SMGs makes them monstrously good against any infantry and if they have bazookas along with the SMGs tanks are not much use against either

    At first, I would say that I consider EaW the second greatest mod even made by the human hands!
    But, I have a fatal error playing as german against AI americains...
    I did try to finish the game hitting F10 and I've achieved to destroy the american howitzer M1 75mm and thus the fatal error bugs finished...
    I believe that there is some trouble with this howitzer...
    If we are the americans, there is no problem. The matter is when the allies are the AI.
    Am I right?

    I've never had any problem with the 75mm howitzer, the IA has never caused any error with this unit.
