In the case of upgrade we will use the same cammo pattern like PUMA , for realism and different graphics inside it is better to be a different unit,or a swap unit upgrade in sdkf 234 instead of 50mm ,but I think that is not posible because the swap goes to ebps/ tanks/vehicles not to upgrades , anyway one way or another it is very good to have it inside .
Also @celestial may find interesting the upgrade_action in........Company Of Heroes\CoH\OPS\Archives\OPSAttribArchive.sga is called swap_actor_action maybe with this use of this we can use multiple skins on vehicles/armor . Each one that builds come with a different diff, I don't know how is working but there is a posibility with this .
If something like this succeeds then it is easy to use this upgrade to sdkf 234 !

iirc it is possible to change a vehicles skin when purchacing a upgrade which applies that action. Could I ask you guys to make a Relic style skin of the Stummel Sd.Kfz. 234?

I am pretty sure that the cannon is a bit too short. Maybe a quick adjustment to make it slightly longer? And the rectangular part with bolts in it might be a bit large, and the part behind it also a bit short. Other than that, it looks great! I especially like the Relic style tarp over it. Can't wait to get this puppy in game.![]()
Sure, it really need a remake. Edit the parts I indicate in the picture @Pojarsma please. Remove the top cover, I can do it later, I need to figure out how to implement the mg(btw this is static or it has some kind of free movement?). Try to do the model like the one in the picture @widowmaker1 post, thats a good reference.
EDIT: In the case the mg be man handed(not coaxial) I can setup it like the Greyhound. I mean it doesn't have crew for the main gun.

These images show where the MG was mounted. Appears to be on an AA swing mount, which can swivel freely, but if it was mounted forwards it'd have a limited field of fire, similar to the one on the ToV Geschützwagen. That mount can also be attached to the rear, where it could move more freely, but obviously not forwards unless the crew member stood on the rear deck.

For the curious, the SdKfz 234/3 wasn't used for reconnaissance, but instead as fire support to extricate the other armoured cars from trouble, or to clear defenders out that were blocking a route. So it was held back until needed, and the SdKfz 234/1 or SdKfz 234/2 armoured cars (Whichever the company was equipped with) did the actual scouting. They were used in platoons of 3.
My opinion is that if the canvas was removed and the model doesn't have a crew it will look a little awkward . Anyway maybe the h-39 model can help you out with the mg but it have the mg in the left side instead right , from noting it is better the canvas . But I can't decided if it's better with or with out because I can realise the problems of these extra staffs.One way or another it will be very cool to have these![]()

Sturmpanzer is being skinned again, I redo the UV to make it more friendly. Comet uv is finished. The rest you can see the state in the first post.
Also thanks for the blueprints/comments, they really help to improve the development. The mg should not be a problem to get it crewed, the problem will be the main gun but i guess I can put a driver or a commander to fit that place. At least that would be better than a clear space.

I agree with Eliw00d that that would be the best solution, although the question is if the space in the canvas is big enough and supports the Geschuetzwagen...
Also TD, you can use markers with special properties from CAT_marker_info to add just normal troops up there. It would look better than having nothing at all.![]()
As you can see there is a hole, I dont know how it looks there.

Well the interior can be left out. All the existing tanks just have a pitch black surface underneath the open hatch, and they shove the tank commander/AA gunner halfway into that surface.

The interior will be like the one in the M10, only the rest of the gun will be added. Then the mg crew and the commander can fill the rest of the space.
That's a lot of work. The loader is part of the model itself, it means I will have to animate it. The only crew I can add to custom vehicles are drivers, gunners(mg's) and commanders.
Would the animations from the mardar3 loader work?
