    GAME: Dawn of War II
DESCRIPTION: A simple tool to one-click-pack Dawn of War 2 Mods.
    VERSION: 1.0

    Table of Contents:
    1. Installation
    2. Usage

    ------------------------------

    1. Installation:

YOU NEED .NET FRAMEWORK 3.5 TO USE THIS TOOL.
VISIT THIS LINK TO DOWNLOAD IT:
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Place the included files in any folder of your choice. Now Start "ModPacker.exe".

    ------------------------------

    2. Usage:

When starting the tool for the first time it might ask you to specify the path to Steam.exe, the path to your Dawn of War II directory will be "calculated" based on your steam path - but normally it should recognize all paths without your help.
The tool itself should be pretty much self-explanatory. Just start it and see.

    DONE.

    ------------------------------

Gnaa. It's late. Have fun with the tool.

Would it be possible to have this package sound archives as well?

    The root folder is modname\sound\

Gah, every time I use this thing it just says "no mod selected!"

Actually, I got it working. I think it was a problem with my folder setup or something. Don't worry about it. Great tool, btw.

Good to hear as I had no clue what may have caused that problem .

Mate, do you think i can burrow some C# code i can convert to VB for my studio?
(You will of course be rightly credited for your work! )

I of course mean the code for this program... :P

  9. Modding Senior Member  #9
Of course, what code are you interested in?

  10. #10
I'm not sure what your process is in the program, but the piece that selects what files to pack and not, based on the module file. If that is not too much?

No wait... might have found a way... ^^

Ehm, too much? You can have all the code of all my programs, there is no limit. I'd just like to tell you that this Mod Packer is somewhat outdated and that I've got newer classes than the one's used in here. I'll upload some code soon.

EDIT: I'm going to rewrite some of the code as I've created this tool without caring about anything, so this is just quick and dirty.

I reversed it and adopted your method to my program

Well, nice, Reflector indeed is useful. But still it's outdated.

How come I can't download this file? In the link you provided, when I click the "Download Now" banner, all I get is I keep getting transferred to this page:

    http://news.filefront.com/

Has this tool been removed already?

Still works fine for me. Probably someone could create a mirror so you can download the tool. I won't be able to do so within the next two weeks (on vacation, don't have my files available).
