    well for one that guy with the Fallout Mod was a stealing bastard who took assets from other mods without receiving permission. his mod got deleted from Moddb and hopefully from all other sites soon as well.

    then of course you are not allowed to transfer any models from Dawn of War to a Fallout mod as that would cause IP and copyright issues. it's the same reason why you can't simply transfer DarkEldar from SS to DC as you would then make something that the owners of SS paid for available for free to the owners of DC

    IP, loss of art recognition etc.

    just a lot easier to know where everything is being used.

    and the Fallout 3 guy was doing ip illegal things anyway such as using dow models and textures in his mod.
    he also used a lot from another dow mod, even though he didn't get their permission.

    we wont have anything to do with people like that.

    @Patman32 - gee pal come on. the "bastard" as you would call it was a 15 year old. I helped him by checking some bugs in his mod. so yeah, he didn't know better.

    [edit] that was back when I didn't know he used dow assets. but I still like it and am playing it now and again.



    [edit]@Patman32 - from other sites as well?.. if he uploaded it in some pirate site, it wouldn't get removed

    Age is no excuse, and obviously as you helped the person in question you are biased towards his case.

    The team's decision to limit the sharing of assets is perfectly within their rights considering that the FoK team is possibly one of the most open mod teams when it comes to sharing of assets.

    Black Templars were included purely because Melooo spent a lot of time and effort creating them. There are no plans to include any other races beyond Dark Eldar and the Sisters of Battle/Inquisition (in Soulstorm, obviously) due to UI constraints.

    Adding in additional races means they would all have to share the same UI layout. There is no way around this limitation as all non-Relic races share the same taskbar bind of "other".

    yeah that would be a lot o work. not the modding, you guys are ace at that, but obtaining enough cocaine to keep the bike and driver running. one can only offer so many acid laced kittens.

    Ok... i have been following and enjoying this mod for a while but havent checked the forums since the new 3.6 was released, and i was wondering where i could get the thunder fire from or when a possible ss release would be?

    thunderfire still isnt ingame yet. it needs fx and oe coding... probably a few more anims too.

    Hello !

    I played many games at your beautiful mod. In the last six or seven games played these days I found the cpu using the chaos and Necron does not progress beyond the first tier
    In addition the imperial guard and space marines do not ever upgrade their tanks.
    Is it possible to fix the bug ?
    Can you tell me how to find the log file of the game please ?

    and when will the SWOOPING HAWKS be added?

    and if you need ideas for some products... just post it on the page and have a look at the variety to choose from...

    "many" bugs? I didn't think there were that many, myself. Stuff like badges and banners and texture glitches are art polish; not bugs.

    AI is something that is being worked on, as for SCaR errors . . . go over to our forums and report them. Unless they're relating to the Single-Player Campaign which isn't fixed yet and isn't our concern at the moment.

    I second the swooping hawks. Been looking for a mod that does them. Its something the eldar being so nimble have always been missing... jump troops

    I don't know wether it's been reported before or not but the Chaos Defiler's Havoc Missile Launcher fires to the right.
    It looks rather funny as the projectile comes from the launcher on the Defilers left side goes through the Defilers chasis before continuing on to it's victim.
    All the rest of the Defiler's weapons fire forward just fine it's only the missiles that don't.

    Aha so members of the FOK tech team do come here occasionally. in that case i'd like to repeat that the threads on the IG's Inquisitorial Land Raider do not move, and there is an animation bug with the construction of the Inquisitorial Landing Path.
