    I don't know wether it's been reported before or not but the Chaos Defiler's Havoc Missile Launcher fires to the right.
    It looks rather funny as the projectile comes from the launcher on the Defilers left side goes through the Defilers chasis before continuing on to it's victim.
    ll the rest of the Defiler's weapons fire forward just fine it's only the missiles that don't.
    Cheers - we'll look into that. Sounds like the weapon coordinates need a bit of fiddling with.

    But yes, I have indeed been working at keeping things going since he left. In fact, I've been brainstorming a way by which power generators will be far critical to gameplay and in a very logical manner, a possible MASSIVE overhaul to CC and the very nature of tiering / teching, and hunting down code bugs. So yeah, mod's still very much alive - the team and I have just been a bit busy with the mod and real life as of late.

    Oh and the mod is very much playable in SS.

    If anyone has any questions with regard to what's changing for the next release, ask away and we'll try and answer said questions as best we can

    Are there any plans to include team colourable aspect skins for Eldar, even as a separate download?

    Right now it's quite difficult to distinguish between two players that are Eldar because the colourable areas are so small.

    That's possible. I will say though that our skinners are a bit busy with more pressing matters, so totally TC'ed Aspects are on the back burner for now. Speaking of Aspects, a couple have of course gotten a makeover as some of you may already know

    @Corncobman - I could do that But not now (most work is currently devoted to SM and BT skins). Check the link posted above for FOK alternate skin updates

    also noticed that the Imperial Guard commander's wargear is no longer TC. Fixed that and will upload it later

    MK, good to see you back. You say FOK works with SS? Where can I download that version?

    I used this wonderful mod to replay DC, but gave up on a replay for SS because the vanilla version just couldn't hold a candle to this mod and it looked like FOK was never going to be developed to a finished SS version.

    *using Professor Farnsworth's voice* Good news everyone!

    With Warcaster's help, buildings now require a power generator in order to cast abilities, produce units, reinforce squads, and research upgrades. Without an active generator nearby, you can queue up units and upgrades in buildings but they won't start. An active building's production will halt the moment a generator goes offline or is destroyed.

    And yes, power gens are still rather fragile.

    Which means that infiltration and hit-and-run tactics just gained a bit more importance

    Now we just need to settle on a good power radius...

    I guess this falls under the FoK FAQ:
    - Q: Could you buff/nerf/change the stats/change the price of that particular unit?
    No. Every stat and every price in FoK is taken straight from the wh40k codices.
    Hence the 'expensive' cost of units, which is balanced overall.
    We look to the heavens so that one day our children may look back towards home.

    @popadop - air units are not very good in soulstorm. they were not implemented too good, but their models were excellent though. btw, "correct scale" can be done easily. you can do it yourself by editing the model's LUA files in notepad. standard size is usually 1.0, just change it to 1.25 or 1.3 or something

    Well considering that the entire game has been overhauled from the armour types to the weapon damage, I don't think it's a good idea to make the costs fit the original DOW game.

    If you really want to have costs similar to vanilla DoW you could try doing it yourself but I don't think the mod team are going to be focusing their attention on it.

    @Marvel13887 - Because its so simple you can do it yourself in corsix. You don't have to own a college degree to figure it out. You just need to read the names of the stuff you want to edit.. And understand a few more advanced english words. The mod team is busy, they want it closer to codex (which I don't understand THAT much coz I don't have any tabletop models), so it becomes closer to codex. There's a reason why the stuff they made are free for use by the community (provided the team is credited)
