    ok, used the auto installer this time, created a shortcut to the drectory in x86 and changed target to

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -dev -mod EuropeanTheater1944

    still when I double click on the shortcut it does nothing...although it HAS suddenly changed into the CoH icon XD

    Hi all,

    As DMZ said turning off object scarring pretty much 100% fixed my frame rate problem. In a 4vs4 it can still drop down to the 20's but 2vs2 it hums along at 60fps the whole game. Nice!

    How to beat german armor as Canadian / Polish? Is it possible? I found I could defend and hold a line but couldn't advance into their main. i.e. I could have won on vp mode but not on annihilate.

    Hey, i just installed this mod and when i am at the loading screen it gets to around 70% and then it crashes. "Please verify that there is enough space in your temp folder" comes up and the mod simply doesnt work. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? (Ive looked around and without any good advice that seem to work :/ .)
    I can play blitzkrieg mod without any problems.

    @Bkandor - Settings were too high for what I did, I'll have to retest it later. Also, I used to play as the Canuks every now and again. I found that the Call ins were a BIG help. Mainly because I could keep using them to aggressively advance on the enemy and also maintain enough resources to support the inevitable rebuying of the call ins themselves.

    @Emwyn - First off, Thanks for downloading our mod. ^_^

    Secondly, the "Please Verify that there is enough space in your temp folder" Error is due to the amount of memory the mod uses, (around 3.5GBs to 4GBs of RAM, all of this is located on the first page, by the way.)

    Simply turn your settings down and the problem should be resolved.

    Not sure this will work?

    Turn ALL of your settings to the lowest settings, then play a 1v1 on Angoville. Should work fine. Then just build up your graphics to what you feel is playable for you, but at the sametime will work with the amount of memory the mod will use. You want about a 3rd of the Memory Usage bar on the Graphics Tab to be full. Anymore starts to put strain on the system.

    Where do I have to install maps to get them to show up in N44ET?

    I have maps installed through my normal game...

    documents/mygames/company of heroes/ww2/scenarios/MP

    But they dont show up when I launch N44ET

    im having some problems with the mod specs!!
    well here is the problem! my pc is not a great machine so i need to play the mod with medium to minimum specs! but wen i turn the model detail and the shader into LOW the tank guns of the Churchill 95mm, Churchill 75mm, Cromwell 95mm, Sherman 105, Achilles just disapear... so i try to put this settings on high( because there is no medium in this settings!) so wen in high the guns appear but the mod become unplayable!!! crashes or runs very slow! so there is any solution to this problem??
    something that meke you play with shader and model detail on low and still can see the tank guns!!
    please awenser me i dont want play like this!! it just ruins the mod!

    No, it's an oversight that was made with the shaders on those tanks' skins. It can be fixed relatively easily by a skinner. Georider was going to fix them some time ago when the bug started to be reported, but i guess he hasn't gotten around to it.

    I don't know, i didn't think he ever left the team. When Geo posted that he might/was going to fix those skins, it had nothing to do with N44, and it was a long time ago. I think i remember him saying that he would, if there was enough interest in such a fix from the community.

    And I would still love for that to be release, but...

    I knew I wanted/needed a bunch on new models to be a part of v 2.0 (for all factions). When those tentative dates were sent, I has some assumptions that we would be able to do x models per week, blah, blah, blah. Well, in that time I expected to have 15 or so models done, there was one. So, take a look over at Loran's models thread and see where I have "shifted gears" to get models in game. We still have issues with skins (both new and old models), but I am working and getting some help along the way.

    Most of the coding is close to an "alpha state" - it's a matter of getting some more models to an "alpha state", putting out the alpha, and going from there. I am hoping for an end of the summer release.

    TBH - and this is in no way shape or form a reflection of the team or my teammates nor is it meat to be insulting or nagative... A lot depends on just how much help I get with the stuff I can't do. IE I can't skin, for I need help for that. I can't UV map, so I need help with that. I can't "break models down" to be UV mapped and animated - I need help with that. I am still working 12 hours on my days off (about 40 hours a week). It wouldn't matter if I worked 100 hours a week if the things I can't do don't get done in the mean time. And, ATM, the rest of team is running into RL issues, being overworked, or other things that were unforseen in the past.

    I still will get out a version 2.0 and I will continue - just how "polished" that version is may vary. ATM there are literally 15 models in an Alpha state coded in game - none of those 15 are ready for release and basically not "Beta release" ready (IE - and all brown or grey skin for testing aka no skin at all). There are another 15 or so that will have to be alpha ready before I can release the alpha - how long will it take to get those 30 from alpha to beta - I don't know. But once I get to that 30 I can stop animating for a while and start back on coding.

    They have so much to do, I highly doubt they will add another faction... however they may be able to add some Hungarian forces as doctrine units? Not sure if they need it... from what I hear they have an abundance of units...

    hi there,I have no doubt that this will be checked out by @sweeten...maybe not now 'cause as @Dark said,we already got a lot of units for the 2 german factios BUT might me useful for Ostheer faction later in future releases.

    lol if they're doing Hungarians then they'll have to add Romanians and Bulgarians, which is unlikely that they will, with what they're planning on doing now seems to be a bit Tough and will take a long while, adding new factions (doctrines as Thiky has said) then that'll take even longer, and will ruin sweetens Due Date

    because theres a lot of work to be done in adding new Countries in mods, ofc theres voice, weapons, tanks, possibly planes, vehicles, etc etc that has to be made and animated and implemented into the mod

    @ Everyone - Loving the suggestions of new Countries and such, but in all honesty, heres how its going to play out

    Were going to continue working on 2.0

    Once that comes out and its all polished and beautiful, THEN were going to throw in the Ostheer. Now, secondary factions like Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria might be added in, but they probably won't be a doctrine, more than likely a sub doctrine.

    Believe me, we can get away with not having the voices, Gamerisin could probably find some awesome sounds if it was asked of him, and we could probably use the stock animations and retextures for the infantry,

    However, unless that country used mostly German equipment, (Which to my knowledge, none of them did.) We will have to make entirely new vehicles.

    Im not saying theres no chance of them being a Doctrine, who knows.

    But what I am saying is that they certainly won't be in 2.0, because were not putting the Ostheer in 2.0

    @Thiky - As I stated before, Secondary countries are not being integrated until after 2.0 is out and polished.


    Im sure we could make some of our own Ostheer units, but I do believe we will use some from the EF team if they release them.

    But yeah, we can't really do anything about it this second, but it WILL be fixed in 2.0, so if your so annoyed by it, turn your settings up, if you can't deal with it.

    its is just impossible play with shadder and model on high but if theres nothing to do i will wait the vesrsion 2.0, that annoys me because the mod is so good and this problem just crap all over the hard work of you guys!

    You don't need to turn up all the settings, just 1 I think, search TankDestroyers thread for in the last pages for the anwser, otherwise live with it till 2.0. And I wonder where did ppl get that its a skin problem? If it was a skin problem, then all the custom models would have been fixed by now.

    The russian scouts in camo uniform nice, but according to my knowledge it was worn binding the hood on their head in a combat situation. I would put side cap onto their head according to an opportunity, not only helmet.

    is there anyway to counter the bloody artillery the wermarcht throws at me everytime i try and cap a victory point?
    i lost to easy computer just because everytime they recap a VP, and i want to try and grap it back and then their nebels and shit start to cut my men to pieces....and also i found being on 3rd Canadian division with 4th Canadian Armoured division as support i'm hopeless to counter their arty...not so concerned about enemy panzers yet because i just aren't skilled to go that far yet..

    They wont be using Elements from Blitzkrieg mod, why should they, N44 is well known and played alot because it doesnt have the same elements as Blitzkrieg

    some of the Vehicles are specially made for Blitzkrieg and the N44 team cant get there hands on them

    other models wernt made/used in 1944 and therefore why have a Vehicle (i made a dicussion about this earilier) Eg. the recoiless Rifle jeep when it was used in 1953 and have it 10 years earlier

    it just wont make sence
