Refresh my memory please: You cannot use doctrine abilities if your HQ is destroyed right? If that's the case, the I'm sure I see the AI call in Churchills and Calliopes even after I destroy their HQs. Can someone make some clarifications?

yea i have seen it happen usualy just after the HQ goes down though i migh be seeing things as the ai clicks them in one last shot.
There are several abilities that can be called-in even if your HQ is destroyed. I positively think that you can still call in Sector Arty as Scorched Earth even if your HQ is no more. I'll have to test this Calliope and Churchill calls.
I don't believe it is possible, even for the AI. I often end up playing the AI as my enemies drop, and I have yet to see that. Churchills happen often as the Brit AI will call in their trucks again, resulting in them being able to get Churchills. However, I have yet to see this for other call ins such as Calliopes, Pershings, Hetzers, StuHs, etc.
Been playing some more skirmishes: I have yet to see call-ins after destroying a HQ, though it might be they have no more manpower left.
Nope. No-can do.
I just spent a game half of which my command truck was kaput and had to call in a new one and hide it while I spam spawned churchills and sent them on suicide runs to the opponent's base.
It could just be that rather than actually making the AI difficult once again relic caved and simply made them cheat.
I remember playing The Sheldt once as axis and one guy's
base got destroyed so he dropped.
AI has taken over and id didnt try to rebuild HQ or any buildings
it was just calling in lots of falshimjegers
