Mission 11 help

I am stuck on mission 11. It said to research field gen. to collect the bensei fragaments which i have done. But when i send a collector and field gen frigate. They are both destroyed.

Anyone can give me some help.

go to the walkthrough forum. you may have to change the pulldown menu from 'show posts from the last 30 days' to 'from the beginning' to get the thread for mission 11.

to give a short help for your problem:

place 2 field frigs and a collector close to a radiation cloud with a core fragment. make sure you have researched upgraded shields! activate one shield frigate (press 'T') and tell the frigs to guard the core fragment then quickly tell the resourcer to get the fragment. monitor shield levels. shortly before your shield runs out activate the second frigate. this should give the resourcer enough time to get in and out. move your frigates out of the cloud (or just keep them guarding the fragment/collector.

rinse and repeat for the other fragments.

You really only need 1 field frig... just have to time it right.

Yer gonna need every combat ship you can to take down the basterds hiding in the dust clouds on this map...

Get your swarm.

Send slightly to the right of the main derelict.

When Vaygr come out of hyperspace, kill the carrier.

Then calmly kill them all. You can have tea, if you wish, and build those 2 field frigs.
