    My staring idea for doctrines for the british were Geurilla tactics which involve alot of sneaking around and bombs. Then there would be a army doctrine where you get recruit a few ex-military troops. Then there would be a doctrine that was more about getting the citizens to help out. like you could spawn units out of buildings like the falshenjager and you can give them supplies for fuel and manpower.

    No not yet, but this weekend i got to study also Uccido is looking for free time to import it in-game. School is really tight richt now and i dont wanna screw up so it will take longer to create stuff

    just work when ever you get some free time, since i'm on Half Term and i got a week off i'm gonna work on some maps

    1 i'm working on right now is London Outskitrts, its a 4 player map and its based in the classic british countryside

    sorry there havnt been any updates lately. I've been busy finishing coursework. Anyway, for the last few days i have been making some models. Hopefully in the tris limit . I would appreciate any help with unwrapping and putting ingame. Also i am still looking for people for textures, i have given a few skins a try and they are not very good.
    lloydy boy, any luck with the map?

    uhhh, since i'm new to mapping everything i've done is a little noobish, so far what i've managed to suss out is 4 bases a town and 1 road going through it, i'm trying to get textures in it such as grass but no luck, also my halfterm is now over so i've got to revise for Exams which is coming in the 1st weeks of December

    The story is basically the same as it was before germany invading britain except later on, and they allied with the russians so they had the power to invade everywhere. now they have invaded Britain, America rushes along. Then we have ww3.
    It may be difficult, but if we get some people in to help model and texture (please) it will help.

    setting it in a later year is even harder to do, with the WW2 idea it was simple and possibly wouldnt take to long (cos most of the units is already in the game) but now setting it in the 1970's... i dont know seems a little harder to do IMO

    well, if no one signs up for helping with stuff like skinning and modeling then we will revert back to the ww2 style mod. I just thought it would make it more fun and even though it will take a while it will be different to other mods.

    well, in some ways no. We can still keep ideas such as the maus and other stuff like that. But with guns that were about to be in production we can have upgraded versions of the stg. Its still an imagintive project because if the Germans had the time to create new weapons in the 1970s they proberly would have had very advanced guns, that have not been invented today.

    lol soviet vs waffen ss in Britain. Thats like pitting the sas vs the americans in china. and sorry for no infomation lately on the mod, installed TOV by steam and it has broken coh 4 times and cause for a system restore so all work was lost . Starting up work again now.

    i bought the coh and OF in a shop then i saw the relic pack on sale for £24 it had tov in it so i bought it, and now its has ruined everything. I now updated coh using steam then took it off straight away and works fine. But yeah steam does suck, i have to re-install about every 2 weeks and all the game files get corrupted and at a 40kb a sec dl speed im not very happy.

    good god, the SS soldier looks really..... BLACK, his uniform i think is the wrong shade of black, none the less looks good

    btw its called the SS-PanzerGrenadier... although he could be a SS-SturmTruppen

    Probably you are replacing default files. Just make sure to never replace the default files because engine will look first in the art.sga and then in your mod files which will make your changes to never show up ingame. So for example if you want to use this volks, name the files like volksgrenadierHH(all files .sua,.mua,.rgo,.rgm) and link them in the proper abp.

    yeah i've done that, ive got all tex_ax_volksgrenadiers2 and made all new files including the abp, i'm still yet to try out alphaing the helm or hat because im still at school atm

    School is now finished and i can get some proper work done now.
    Tankdestroyer, i have tried what you said now and it works apart from the helmet chin strap. I cant find the texture for it in the file so im guessing that it is using the belts texture.

    At the side of the helmets texture you will find it. Also if you are trying to use the hat only then use a normal rgo for your volkgrenadier. The rgo you are using right now was modified by me to make the helmet show up in the volksgrenadier00 rolevariation.

    i am using the normal rgo. I just think my worldbuilder is abit messed up, because my copy of company of heroes never came with worldbuilder and i have to get TOV through steam so something has messed it up in the process.

    Lloydy nice research, i am going to use the m48 patton but for the moment could you research about the British and wehrmacht tanks because they are the 1st 2 sides we are going to get done first.
    Aidas the Elephant would be awesome but it is amazing slow, its an idea

    i will if some will export into 3ds and use OE for me . If ak47s do go in they will be experimental because it was being designed from 1944-1946 but wasnt used until 1949

    thats why i suggested Stg45 beacuse Thats the origin of the AK-47, the Stg45 influenced the russians to make the Ak and the Americans, the M16

    the only British Experimental tanks i could find was the Comet

    Black Prince looks like a Churchil if iM not mistaken, also guys reskin the black Ss atleast lighten it to see the lines now it look like its done in paint :/ Constructive criticism FTW also I highly suggest model mixing a Tankbuster with Volks hat or alpha out some parts out of him to get new units, because from it you can make like I dunno 5 or more totaly different infantry models
