    Thousands son marines

right, i was woundering, bit off topic, but hey, do you think the emperor has been kicking himself all thisabout turning his back on them and trying to wipe them out, i mean if he hadnt, he probly wouldnt be stuck in that chair all this time, mortaly woundered, and heresy may never of happened, i mean what would of happened if he had listened to them, would they still of turned to chaos, i doubt it, what you guys think?

Horus started the Horus Heresy: The Thousand Sons would not change much, being one legion (albeit a big one). Their usage of magic would push the boundaries of acceptance, but in the Wh40k universe they allow controlled encounters with Daemons (Grey Knights) to strengthen troops. Thus Thousand Sons would be "strengthened" against Chaos by being saturated with, and using, Chaos powers.

i think you forget that warned the emperor before the heresy started, so, perhaps that would have made a difference, and yes one chaptor would have made a difference cos then the Space wolves wouldnt have gone after them, so thats actualy two, so legions of marines, not one, and perhaps also less legions would have joined Horous you reallt gotta look at the bigger picture

I am sure if the emperor was a man to live in hindsight.. he might have actually kicked himself.. However he is not. Instead I am sure he felt justified in the fac that Magnus was warned never to use thier sorcerous abilities again, and he did one final time. To warn the Emperor of Horus' Trechery. But who would the emperor trust when Magnus warned him? This wayward upstart son Magnus who was BLATENTLY disobeying him, by appearing in his VERY throne room? Or his must trusted and favored son, the warmaster, Horus? Thus the Thousand Sons were destroyed. What ever the case.. the Horus hersy would have happened no matter what. (The warning came after Ivstvann IV) Now the damage caused by it might have been a LITTLE less.. but that is all.
After the shocking blow to thier homeworld of Prospero, the Thousand Sons joined the cause of Chaos whole heartedly, even the cabal of Ahriman. Even though the Cabal wanted to remain too unchanged from loyal Space Marines instead of sucumbing to Gibbering hoardes. I think thier own real beef is with the Space Wolves, who they eventually invaded and slew a great many of.

Collector, just so you know, the Grey Knights don't condone the use of daemon hosts. Infact they wouldn't touch one with a ten foot pole (unless the pole has a nemisis force weapon on the end)
It is the radical Inquisitors who use daemonhosts.

how do you know he isnt we all know what happened, thats not in question, the question is what would have happened of he had of listened, yes we know they did what the Emperor had told them not to, but at the end of the day it was for the greater good, and look what happened, perhaps it may not of happened, and the Thousand sons were not destroyed at all, just beatened, they are still out there, i bet you they want revenge, hmm, think im gona finish my Thousand sons army now

And they didnt join whole heartly, they didnt have a choose, it was that or face total destruction.
