    I was just about to post this... annoyingly any edit to the defaultchaptercolours.lua seems to break the DLC (even if the Dark Angels entry is left completely alone). In the interest of keeping the mod compatible with the current DLC (and any future) I'm going to have to leave the default/campaign Chaos legions unedited. Yes, they will look weird during the campaign, but unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it

    I'll add those in the next update, I've just finished adding the Badab War sets... I didn't see this until I came here to post the update, sorry.

    For everyone else, Executioners, Fire hawks and Tiger Claws have now been included. Link in the first post remains the same, the file itself has been updated.

    Could you add these schemes for Chaos; Warp Ghost, Violators, Angels of Ecstasy, Flawless Host, Dragon Warriors, Soul Drinkers. These are the last schemes that I usually have in my chaos list that you don't have.

    As for Guard regiments, The Mordian Iron Guard and the Praetorians would add some nice contrast.

    it would break the game and the prob. is not all people have the DLC. and its not allowed to change payed DLC's. thats what i think.

    @theo yeah that warbands would be cool but some of these have a special texture and its currently not possible to add such a texture(it was my wish too )
    but i think it should not be a prob. to add those right mr. hangar?

    I think Dragon Warriors are the only ones with special textures (scaley armor). I would still love to see them regardless of whether or not the scales can be added.

    I'm pretty much in agreement with dr.mario89. My usual cycle with this mod is: install mod, make as many extra warbands/chapters/regiments as I can think of, see update for mod, forget about personally made schemes and install update over old install, start from scratch.

    If you don't want to start from scratch, and you're comfortable with editing the files, you can copy/paste the entries from the supplied playercfg.lua into your existing playercfg.lua, preserving your own schemes. If there was some way to write a batch file to merge the 2 files I would have done so, I'm just not that clever

    Yeah I know. DoW 2 isn't the big game for me now. I'm really just waiting for a couple mods to come out at this point. So when something like this mod gets updated, I tend to go "Oh shiny!" and forget about what I've done in my urgency to see what you've added.

Possibly it's some anti piracy measure to stop us hacking in the DLC, as presumably everyone already has the files, otherwise those who didn't pay for it wouldn't see it. There were certain fils in DOW1 that worked in a similar way and were checked for consistency between clients in online games. Any discrepency would cause a synch error.

    i know why the helmet looks like this, you sayd that the chaos marines now have the colour-scheme like the spehs marehns.
    thats why it looks odd with new helmets :/

    edit: shuma sayd that you need to change the helmets colourschemes that they will look good again
    but you need to wait a bit cause he's still working on them
    i just have 2 atm and it would not make much sense to release 20updates just for helmets or something like that

    edit2: i made a little badge_sketch for you, maybe you like it and can transform it into a "working" badge
    the chapter is called the "Eternal Wolves" its a mix of the 13th company badge and something else.

    colours for the badge: first: black, second: white, third: blackish and the moon red(same colours that you used for your 13th company)

    Really love your mod, playing since CR, default schemes are so awful, U made a great job... now I have Retribution, DLd TCMod and
    little disappointed, I didn't get why U changed colors in some Sanguinius gene-seed chapters, I think old versions were more natural,
    for example, Angels Sanguine's (my favs) red half became more brighter, so did Blood Angels...
    Also (i think its because U wanted to fix DLC schemes) there a little like dump, first part is your awesome chapters, then comes default...
    looking at them really breaks my heart LoL. Old versions were much better, just list of beautiful chapters to choose and observe, nothing
    excess. Since I don't care a bit about DLC's I'm enjoying your beta for DoW2R, but I would gladly use new versions. So if U reconsider
    colors and list like in old versions I would be very happy.

    P.S. loved Knights Of Omer, looking really cool.

    The colours for the Sanguinius chapters haven't been changed. It's possible the updated shaders for DOW::Ret make them look different but I am using the same colours I did in previous versions of the mod.

    The way the mod is set up now (for compatibility and simplicity's sake), the unfortunate side effect is the default chapters appear at the end of the list. Nothing I can do about it unfortunately, unless I break the Dark Angels DLC (not a good idea). Making 2 versions of the mod is more work than I usually have time for, and the way it works now, colour schemes and badges will transfer during online play

    There's always room for that, nothing awful since U don't
    color them pink, and not using hentai theme badges.

    It's possible the updated shaders for DOW::Ret make them look different
    Since I'm not modder, maybe I don't get it right, how it is beta (Armies of wh40k)
    for DoW2R showing colors as they were in CR, but new mod (TC) on the same versions
    shows some difference? I noticed this even on some Guilliman's chapters.
    Did U updated shaders? 0_o...

    Nothing I can do about it unfortunately.
    Maybe there's a way of making 2 versions of mod, one for those
    who using DLC's and one for those how don't actually care?

    Its may be a good idea for developing some new mods changing
    appearence with coats and weird helms for other chapters?
    For example some Death Company units or Black Templars (they
    love wearing rags)

    Whenever I try to play TLS with this mod on I get a crash partway through loading and get the following error message:

    Failed to create dump file: error '183'

    I have the latest version of the mod up to this date, and no other mods enabled. Everything is in the right place, and I did a steam cache check. :[

    I haven't played this mod yet... I still have some questions.
    Does my custom paint schemes work with this mod? I'm asking this as I have a lot of the same codex SM chapters, hence there would be a conflict with names. I will ask this in a different way... What files must I copy and what must I do to backup my custom schemes? Do they work if I reinstall them later (in a fresh installed game)?

    I installed this correctly ( i think I followed the readme anyway ) but am not getting any of the new chapters and am getting no range errors on the colors i take it that the patch is to blame for this ?

    Man....thats a bummer, i don't understand why its such a big deal its not like we are giving users dlc without paying, we're just modifying the content that they already have(have payed for). If anything it encourages people to buy dlc more b/c its not as limiting when you can modify it...plus this measure doesn't stop someone from just swapping the models in the arts folder which gives you the dlc for free anyway ...oh well rant over

    Raptors chapter badge update please!

    Your mod is awesome, I'm a big fan and have a request. Forgeworld recently redid the raptors chapter badge in Imperial armor 9. I was wondering if you could include an updated version of that chapter's badge in your next update? I've been playing the raptors on table top for a long time and it'd be cool to see some love for them. It would be greatly appreciated.

    I have some edits I need to wrap up and include (which I haven't done yet... oop!)

    @Castigon: Possibly the other mod is using different/updated colours then? As for making 2 versions of the mod.. possible but probably not until i get more time. Keeping this one updated currently is not as easy as one would like.

    @uncle_anaesthes: That's not my banner, you'd have to contact Joril I believe. I'm not sure I have his email address any longer, unless he's included it in the read-me files with the original badge/banner set
