    @Rytlock: Yeah, those little bastards make me feel so damn guilty. Stupid rookies who disobey protocol. Charging Galan worked out, thankfully. No other problems except the characters are blacked out during gameplay. Their faces anyway. I really wish the Chaos Rising campaign was longer.

    edit: actually I can't see planet surfaces (calderis so far?). Has anyone had this problem before?

    Excuse me, gentlemen, but is there anyway to play these mods in co-op? Or are they strictly single-player?

    yes if the guy you will play with also got the same version of the mod


    @Rytlock there is a way.. if you use cyrus to be stealth you can run around them, destory the generator and wait for there patrol at the shrine is over. when they are gone then kill the generator before galan and then rush him and then KILL THAT FUCKING TRATIOR


    @Orion Nexus you set the model setting on high?, if not then it's why there is black models

    No, the model setting was put to low. Everything's on low. As for co-op, should I still run the mod in dev mode?

    @Orion Nexus then turn model settting on high so you can see the texture on your squads, also as i said.. your friend got to have the same mod version as you, and no do not start in -dev, start like you do for normal game. insted inv him via Games for windows live then you can play co-op campaign

    Yeah, but you see: the damn scouts won't move! Regardless of which generator I destroy, the scout squad in that area just keep tuning around there. After destroyingthe first generator with Cyrus, I found that the scouts didn't escape. I had to use Jonah to teleport the rest of my team to Cyrus just to get past them.

    First of all this is my favorite mod for the SP campaign, thanks for putting these together into one great mod!

    Question: Is there any way to tell what difficulty I am playing. I thought I started a Primarch campaign but so far (just got to Meridian) it seems easier than Captain. Any idea? Console command? anything?

    Edit: well the hive tyrant just ate my FC, thaddeus, tarkus' squad (with 200 termie armor), and thule when he spawned. I barely won with my devestators so I guess the difficulty just took a while to catch up to the better wargear. I would still love a way to tell what difficulty my various games are.

    Edit2: finished the OC on Primarch difficulty (it does tell you at the ending overview screen what difficulty you were on). It's only slightly more difficult than Captain. The longest and hardest fight by far was the Avatar of Khaine, and I had to heal/retreat my squads several times with a couple of iffy moments. Very satisfying boss fight even though it's optional. However, I'd like to note that the LAST BOSS is a pushover, and died within seconds. A few other bosses were like this, most notably the optional lictor you can fight during the com array mission which died in one shot, so fast I couldn't pick up the dropped wargear.

    When is the mod going to not be on MegaUpload? this is EXACTALY what I want with the game. Jaylo's changes FAR too much in the game, I just want slightly larger squads and more enemies.

    damn doesn't seem to be working, tried a fresh new game, but its still running as vanilla. Followed the instructions made the backup module.

    Thinking of just making the specialty module so it can run that way, but It doesn't seem to work so far, you sure thats a working version?

    Ah managed to get it to work, aaand now it crashes out the game... faaaantastic. Guess I have to get back into modding....

    Chaos rising works, vanilla does not.. I bet thats been mentioned somewhere, hasn't it?
    Scratch that, it stopped working.... ok what the hell.....

    FINAL EDIT! Managed to get ONE CR mission to work, after that it just crashes out... uninstalled for now, but as much as I love Jaylos mod, I really just wanted one more member added to each squad of space marines barring Avitus. watching 500-800 PDFers die is great and all, but I wasn't looking for 8 man Space Marine squads. Ugh.. I guess I have to dust off my old mod tools ( SEE: redownload)

    @Eihger sound wired, have you tried look some of the pages? or the readme? there are found many bugs and some of them are solved. have you tried set the settings down? it should solve the problem

    I really don't know what's not working. It seems to be easy.

    Just extract to DOW2 main archive, overwrite if you have to, and go play. You just need an up to date original game.

    Also, Dreadnoguth weapons and randomised marines for every squad coming along.

    I will try the alternate mod if the University lets me. Its so stressing that my hair has started falling out, and Space Marine sometimes just seems easier.

    Still, I have been lazy for long anough.

    Today's work:
    Dreadnought RIGHT weapon arms all work, except lascannon and flamestorm animations. Yes, the missile launcher can switch between frag and krak mode. I should possibly give that ability to the CSM dread too...
    Assault and Tactical squads now are fully randomised, with no more clipping issues.
    Eldar Farseer buffs have been radically improved to make her a more viable eldar choice next to the Warlock's damage.

    I think i have the solution about decrease the squad size of the Tyranid Hormagaunt Brood squad.

    edit: nevermind it did not worked i saw more of the fatal scar error and it has to do with ai.scar, groups.scar, statemachine.scar, and encounter.scar

    reedit: i finally fix by reinstalling the game but when i play i find it a bit unbalance because for somereason i have no more medpacks but my spacemarines are super powered now it just makes the game way to easy

    rereedit: is there anyway to leave the wargear and helmets in the mod but have the normal units

    Hi,

    I appear to be suffering a major error in when I use this mod to play DoW2. The error happens at the end of EVERY campaign mission. After the loading screen, my game crashes back to desktop, forcing me to start it up again.

    Any help would be appreciated greatly.

    Getting a Fatal Scar error on the first mission of Chaos rising when Tarkus is supposed to toss a grenade in the traitor guards. What I am noticing is that his squad is alive, so sheck out the .LUA file of that mission and either have Tarkus deploy in that mission without his squad numbers at the begining, or edit the LUA to deal with the numbers

    You guys should not ask for this much. These things are WAY beyond my ability. I mean I would like to help but scar and lua editing is beyond my skills.

    As for the mod making a scar error... I don't know. Make sure its Dow2 CR, installed and updated fully, without any other mods. Also, make sure its English and legal version, otherwise may cause problems.

    @Eihger: You have to send Avitus and Cyrus back to the begining because they kill all the guard before Tarkus' 'nade throw triggers.

    @DTerror1303: Try lowering your model settings, that *should* fix it. If not then just lower all settings, that should work.

    @ARMofORION: Have you tried lowing settings? If not then you may need to either re-install it or not run as many background programmes as your platform may be using too much memory. If that doesn't work then I don't really know.

    @Calgar thanks man, but i didnt need to lower the settings but higher them xD the game runs even smoother now o.0 my computer refuses easy jobs i think :P.
    i can tell cuz i tested the performance by calling in 4 imperial guards drop pods, thats like 200 men xD vs alot of orks...imperial guards are weak tho. but thx alot for the tip!

    No worries, I knew it was something to do with setttings as a few people have had problems with that but the solution was to lower it. But I'm glad you have it fixed.

    Dreadnought Mortis weapons are in the works.

    The autocannon is perfect, the lascannon misses the beams and the rockets seem to fire only from one pod... but I'm getting there.

    I'm uploading a new beta with fixed mortis weapons.

    Bloodravage helped me out

    I forgot to do the sm race balancing... I'll put the Ven dread to tier 3 and limit the dread numbers.

    Also, I may take out the files that cause the black stuff to happen on lower resolutions.

    Then I'll update Davian Thule to the new Dreadnought model and weaponry.

    Then I'll try to port as much as I can legally can to Retribution.

    so it was already known thule has only 1 arm? xD
    he is a little overpowered tho, i can just do a mission with thule alone and let the rest just do nothing.
    now moving on to the chaos rising campaign, i would like to see how the blood ravens look when they are corrupted.
    they do look more evil then right?
