We're getting started with this year's OFFICIAL 2009 Child's Play RelicNews Forum Pledge Drive Extravaganza! It's pretty simple:

1) visit http://childsplaycharity.org and decide how you want to donate.

2) make that donation (either via PayPal or an Amazon wishlist). PS: thanks!

3) visit http://reliccommunity.com/childsplay and record your donation - log in with your forum info, choose how you donated, then enter how much!

We'll be looking into a few incentives down the road, possibly like the raffle we held in 2007, but do not let this prevent you from donating now! All past donations will be counted towards any promotion that takes place!

I'm looking at BC Children's Hospital's list and the DVDs are ridiculous overpriced on amazon.ca, they cost as much as newly released blurays these days. On Amazon.ca paul blart costs 27 bucks or soething like it and on amazon.com it costs 7. And even though i've bought dvds in the past for child's play, I think used DVDs are every bit as good for hospitals and they cost like, 5 bucks. The items I was tempted to buy were all shitty lowest priced ones that will probably break within a year, so I gave up and just donated via paypal.

If the raffle happens (and we're working on it) any prior donations over $10 will automatically be eligible, as in previous years. I didn't want to do a minimum but there have been a few very small donations. They're obviously appreciated, but shipping for the raffle is expensive and including microdonations would be unfair to everybody else.
