This mod is most DEFINATELY alive and kicking, im just busy fighting a salivary gland infection caused by my impacted wisdom teeth atm so there will be some serious slow down til i get the teeth pulled out (most likely a few weeks from now) and i recover from the surgery (another week or two), i don't like it one bit but, way she goes.

The final release of the mod has a size of 16+ gb's is what the 16gb means
With 7zip and Ultra-Compression you can bring the download waayy down to < 600 mb. I've done that with many DoW1 projects (21Gb DoW1 projects all together) and man what a diff.

You've already met heretic, and I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it. Previously, Heretic's avatar was an Ion Warrior, giving hal the title name, the mod also includes the Imperial Fists, giving the crusade*. Siege warfare, the cage indecent, and most importantly....SQUAT

To clarify what I THINK is the confusion here: YES Dawn Of Coalescence features Imperial Fists, Iron Warriors, Squats, trenches, walls and Leviathans etc, but this mod is in NO WAY (as far as i know anyways, though that Heretic IS pretty crafty.........:IWparanoia kicks in: ) affiliated with Heretics IW mod.
As for the "Badab Rules" that were released prior to the Imperial Armour version we already have them and have implimented elements from those rules (and the IA rules as well) as we've seen fit, after all there are several infamous Badab War armies in the mod

The basic information and various other things
Gameplay: As the name may imply, Armored Company focuses on using tanks to overwhelm and overpower the enemy. They do not have much in the way of infantry so what little infantry you get should be well-protected. Before heading into Tier 1, you have access to Armored Fist squadrons, Chimera tanks and Sentinels. These should be used to annoy your opponent's infantry and block them from taking your points. As you head further up the tech tree, you will get access to better and stronger vehicles.
Economy: The Armored Company economy will work much like IG's economy however, you should strive to maintain plenty of Req and Power due to the number of tanks you will be fielding.
Tactics: Quickly gain control of areas with Armored Fist squadrons and Chimera tanks, Usage of early vehicles to defend controlled areas, Use the Run Over ability to quickly destroy infantry squadrons to gain a quick advantage or to turn the tide of battle in your favor in the later stages of battle
Strengths: Vehicle heavy, artillery, armour
Weaknesses: Lack of infantry, easily affected by terrain
Motives: To protect the Imperium of Man and to defeat its enemies by annihilating them with superior armor

Question will the troopers in all of the imperial guard fractions have helmets or other head gear like berets? Im just curious.
There will be as much variation in the appearance of the various IG regiments as possible.
@ironwarrior42: Can you post some pics of the titans of the various races?
I see just one thing missing from imperial guard forces: The Savlar Chem Dogs. No one gives them an in game appearance.
Even if you just 0-1 limit them, I'd be happy to have a regiment that is rarely heard of in it.
I have put it here to give a 'starting point' on this race to ironwarrior42 if he not know it.
PS: I havent found the Obliterator cult on google, I have read of this after I have downloaded 6Gb of various pdf files about warhammer 40000.

Actually the chem dogs sound interesting, though they are not just one regiment but many regiments from Salvador

2) @IronWarrior42: In the posts between the #268 and the #295 you talk about a mix of ground and space battles. Along with the ground-space maps, you can work with Heretic and Jaguard-Lord to make specifics maps when only space battle are possible (set in deep space).

@Daffy, me and Jaguar-Lord will work on maps like you describe and many more once we reach that stage, the first release will include many new maps and map types

oh, another thing: I have tried the your destructable terrain alpha/test mod.
I have checked like win condition: annihilate, destructable terrain an and the condition that regards the fly of the aircraft.
The first two work perfectly but the third not work (I have built a Land Speeder Tempest and I can move it freely): there are problems whit this win condition or simply you haven't add it in the alpha release mod
@Daffy, do ANY flyers respond properly to the Flyer Runs win condition, or is it just Tempest that does not respond?
I don't know... I have tried only whit the tempest... now I try whit the others.
Because tomorrow I must go to school () I cannot post the results of the others aircraft units test before the 15:00

@Daffy, i'll have to go over that mini mod and find out whats up, keep in mind that flyers often fail to return to the nearest suitable building because they get stuck, an unfortunate issue we're making every effort to minimize with DoC. Lets take any further discussion of the matter to the thread for my mini mod
@Cobaltus; We're close to an alpha release but our pace is slowed until after i get my impacted wisdom teeth removed, which has been pushed back to early october , nonetheless a release is not far away, a few months at worst as things stand atm.
For the test do you think a map like 'blood river', IronWarrior42?
Flyer Runs function in DoC just fine, its only in the mini-mod that there seems to be an issue . That's not to say the SCAR is perfect or that there aren't other hurtles (they way the flyer models path for just one simple example), but the basic intended function is in place.
For now I have tried with the Barracuda, Hell Talon, Raven, Land Speeder Tempest, Nightwing, Marauder Bomber, Lightning Fighter and no one respond to the flyer run.
I think that's how you have said.
By the way, at which point is the mod?

As Ironwarrior said the mod is still alive we are just off schedule right now working hard to get back on schedule as for the realease date we have none set bear with us a little longer trust us it'll be worth the wait.
