That's one Nice Spine. By the way, how do you plan to implement the Necron Lord and/or Lords? Are you going to go by the "Dedicated to X C'tan(Lord of the Dragon/Nightbringer/Deceiver/Outsider)" or by the "NecronX Lord(Spider Lord/Destroyer Lord/Flayed Lord/Immortal)" or by the rumored Tier system(Silver/Gold/Platinum)? Or simply make them more Special-character like as they're mentioned in the 5th edition rulebook?
Because iirc you said that the commanders of the other races would be made "secondary commanders" like in DoW I, would this mean that the Necrons just get the Generic Necron Lord and no secondary commanders?
Or is this all secritt hush hush for now?

in short, there are no plans for the necrons.
they are just being modelled.
ill worry about that when the time comes.

yeah thats one thing, also make sure you have triangles instead of polygons, they smoth betetr and render betetr. But I too am having the weird LAWL NOTHING SHOWS UP problem as well.

Well, perhaps novice sisters use smaller guns, and the bigger ones are only entrusted after a few years of fighting (silly idea, I know) .
Anyway, I'm glad they are normal-human size instead of marines.
Why not do the =I= insignia on the pads using spec/normal maps? DOW2 does a very good job of making a flat texture look 3d using those..

Question for horusheretic: are the rhinos actually usable in-game at this point? And do they have the space marine on top with the storm bolter?

perhaps. but anybody can make them... jsut remove the weapons from the preds and razorback.
change the attachments too.
its that simple.
at shuma: scarabs arent going to have 900 hp each and deal bombs of damage. instead they'll be split into one each, so 100 hp, 1 attack. still you can probably end up getting loads.... however i like the nuke idea...

The Monolith looks awesome, as for the nuke comment, it is fluffy that Necrons send literal clouds of scarabs first to their enemies to weaken them, in fact i think those black clouds with green lighting that come with the Necrons are usually nanobots and crap, i however don't remember where i read that but it could've been somewhere in Dark Crusade, at least for some reason that comment always reminds me of Dark Crusade.
Anyway i'm ranting, the 5th edition rulebook also mentions Scarabs, Spiders, Tomb Spiders and other assorted mechanical bugs and monsters being able to dig underground to infiltrate Imperial Guardsmen's bunkers and/or simply teleporting inside them to kill the opposition before the Necron troops even get close.

other wise we would just give the lot FNP and the accompanying health regen in combat.
You can hold more marines in a Rhino. If you're going by the codex, a Rhino can carry a squad of 10 marines, while a Razorback can only carry 6. If you read the fluff- it says that the reason for the lower crew capacity is due to the equipment needed for the weapons (kinda hard to fit guys under the energy cells to power the Lascannons).Why would SM use Rhinos when they got Razorbacks by the way?
Same with the Landraider and Landraider Crusader. Crusader can hold 2 more models because it doesn't have the Lascannon energy cells blocking people from getting in.
would be cool if the razorback was just an upgrade for the rhino. wouldnt be codexy tho.

Can we get smoke grenade/frag launchers on the rhino as well? I am really looking forward to adding them in.
Also, a smoke launcher graphic for the dreadnoughts would be nice, since the one in the campaign doesn't actually add the 3 luancher tubes to the back of Davian's dread.
And the legs, which are thicker and blockier in the mini, i mean, look at it:

i have the model in front of me and i find nothing really wrong with it.
it is meant to be a tough thing after all seeing its toughness 6 and 2 wounds. anything less and it wouldnt really convey that.
Well no offense but fluff wise, Necrons don't have to look though to be though. That's the marvel of Living Metal. Still it's just my personal opinion that the Tomb Spyder mini is too ugly.
@gaberial , the smoke launchers are just decos you can't equip drednoughts with smokelaunchers id know i have a forgeworld ven dred , however its worth checking the forgeworld sheets about that
