Problem: Mouse cursor appears to be stuck and cannot be moved.
Note: Oddly enough the solution seems to apply regardless of whether your game is installed via steam or not. Thanks to Battleshields post here.
Solution: Open "Steam\steamapps\common\dawn of war gold\Drivers\spdx9_config.txt" in notepad and change the following line:
; allowhwcursor : allows the use of the Dx8 cursor system
allowhwcursor 1
to this
; allowhwcursor : allows the use of the Dx8 cursor system
allowhwcursor 0
Save the file and start the game. You'll have to repeat the above for Dark Crusade and Soulstorm.
