    Grinding

I do like the unlocking stuff as you go and tring new stuff out. But ever since 15 it just seems to b ea terrible grind. Getting to wave 16 takes at least 30 minutes and gives 3000 xp, and having to do that 4 or 5 times to get to 16 is 2 and a half hours at least.

Does anybody else feel that it is a bit too much xp to have to get now?

    No, really....
It's hard to enjoy a gametype that is even more mind numbingly repetitive than DC or SS metamap campaigns.

This thing is in an epic need of more waves, and actual randomization.

I actually enjoy this game mode a lot. I've played it a lot, and enjoyed it immensely. I only recently played a multiplayer game, and haven't beaten the game yet.

I love it so much because it takes teamwork and tactics. And wargear lets you choose how you play and adds strategy to the game. Especially when you equip stuff to work collaboratively with your teammates.

At first me and my friends were having trouble with waves 12 and so on, and then we started getting better at the game, and our tank got super from a couple of wargear unlocks.

Now however we keep getting stuck on the same waves, and don't have that new wargear unlocked to play with to keep it interesting. Mainly I suppose to most the orks wargear unlocks to not interest me in the least.

AI Allies would be a step in the right direction of improving the gameplay (such as ones that take over where allies drop).

Yes, it can be a bit of a mindless grind, but that is the nature of this beast - survival. Randomisation would not work well in the game engine as how could you honestly, and fairly determine high scores if there is no consistency in what people must defeat?

The "fairly determine high score" mentality in this mode already has been contaminated by random elements that are completely out of control of the players. Like location of where which portions of the wave spawn, doppleganger ability usage, dreadnought, miss chance on stuff like Plasma Cannon, etc.

In this case, fundamental improvement of the fun > precision of the e-peen contests. And all the relevant e-peen contests no longer occur with participation of this game anyway, let alone a co-op mode against A.I.
