Its a "generic" brick modeler (it means lego, but thats copywrighted).

Neat.
I've been thinking of ripping out my kits and mixing the parts together anyway. Had them so long they don't have the parts to build what they were for anyway :hmm: .
<insert something witty here>
Um, please tell me you work for lego.
The other options are too dpressing... IE, you ordered 1 million bricks...
lol, no, no I don't work for Lego. If I had ordered 1 million bricks, they would all be a nice grey color, but as you can see, mine is.... colorful. Also, if I worked for Lego, the Banana would look a lot better.

Using POV-Ray and an LDraw (MLCad in my case), you can produce some very nice renderings:

(pictures from a technical writing report I did)
Just think of the renderings you can do once you assemble a complete HW fleet in LDraw!

MLCad is a lot better than LDraw in my opinion. Heres a link to a page that links it. I didn't link directly b/c i think this is the sweetest lego model of all time: http://onyx.malagraphixia.com/Berett...eretta_9mm.htm
Download the files and add a .jpg extension to the filenamesOriginally posted by NovaBurn
am i the only one not seeing a valid picture link in mozilla?
IE can view them fine...
Yo Mamaship's so big...
lol. from where did you get all those Lego pieces? It musta been a 700$ worth...
Wow this software is great! Tnx!!!
ilia: I bought these big boxes from all over the place. I would finish a portion (usually a small portion) of the mothership, wait a week or two, buy a box of legos, wait again, etc., etc. I have no idea how much I spent, but it was quite a lot.
lol... nice work tough...
well, I have found some hw lego ship 2, enjoy

Bumping a five year old thread: Not good.
Bumping a five year old thread by posting some awesome content related to the thread: Fantastic!

agree. despite the rather nice models, the thread IS from 5 years 2 days ago... (not taking into acount leapyears) wich is a hefty necro. were talking skeletal construct here, not a fleshy zombie![]()

It doesn't matter how old the bumped thread is, so long as the added information is relevant.
The Bishop transport is the single most awesome thing to ever be set in legos.
The only way that could be any cooler if he posted instructions. That was Epic!

How about this one?

That Vaygr bomber blows my mind every time I see it.
The thread lastmay linked to is also pretty fucking incredible.
I wish I had my legos here.Originally Posted by That link

Ahh... legos. How many hours did I spend building random spaceships--nothing directly based on Homeworld, but every single one directly inspired by it. Tiny Micro-ship Frigates, huge armed transport ships, Fighters to scale with the lego figurines. Alas, now all my legos are two states south in a dusty box. I wonder how much it would cost to have them fedexed here?
This isn't directly homeworldy, but anyone who enjoys lego spaceships should sure appreciate this guy:

Guys... Oh man... If they had put up directions, I would go out and buy so many legos right now.
I... I just had a homeworldgasm. Bookmarked links for later reference.
Edit: Interesting, it looks like one of them was working - at one point in time - on making something that vaguely represented Norsehound's Taiidan Somtaaw Mothership concept... Or at least the modules for it.

A Brave New Homeworld. (◔ ◡ ◔ )
I myself am a Lego builder (lol) and also a Homeworld fan, and I can tell you that the online Lego Space community is very much intertwined with HW. A lot of us draw from HW for inspiration for our creations
In nnenn's photostream, if you look up ''Vaygr'' or ''Hiigaran'' in the search bar you will get a Vaygr fighter and a Hiigaran fighter.
Also, on the aforementioned brickshelf website, you can search for "Homeworld", "Vaygr", "Hiigaran", and "Taiidan", and you will get a number of cool creations.
