so I cannot help but attack these annoying popups.. i have gotten rid of them.. but to no avail still suffer due to them.... i play ALOT!!!
and for a week and a half i have had 2 finished games out of maybe 35 or 40.... Being Kicked is no fun... especially when you are owning someone and they feel it necessary to kick you .... (stops to take a breath) i have comcast cable a nice connection... i host awesome games... every game i play anymore it seems the majority of skilled players are suffering from this kick feature.... im trying to figure out why im laggin in the first place but i would love to put it to a vote to somehow get rid of the kick feature... there is really no place for it in my opinion... or at least something to let people know they are lagging would be nice ... still its the kicking that has no place in these games.. what is the point of fighting hard if only to allow some other player to kick you when your winning? it is usually newer players...if not to get rid of it... than how about... letting you know who kicked you.. that would be real SWEET!!! anyone else feel this way please post ... lets get this problem resolved... thanx :P

I suggest you play with ppl you know, since the players usually kicking others are n00bs.

It should take a kick vote from at least 50% of the game players to kick.

Or, kicking should be decided by the host, or in the case the host lags, a vote from 50% of the players will kick him, and then the above voting system goes into play.

nah... kicking is useless anyway, unless its a massive FFA game... but that is rare.

I agree with tefeari, currently (i think) it takes 50% of the players on the other team (in a team game) to kick someone, which in a 2v2 is only one person. Which isn't fair. Maybe at least 1 person from each team should have to vote to kick a player, at least then wouldn't upset the team balance.

I really does annoy me when i get kicked sometimes, if i'm lagging badly (which is pretty rare) i don't mind so much, but the other day i was playing a game where i was pounding this guy and all of a sudden i got kicked, no lag or anything. I dunno why you would kick someone if their winning it defeats the purpose of the game.

I don't think seeing who kicked you would solve anything, if anything it would make me pissed of at that person and would end up in lobby fights.

Just get rid of it altogether i think, serious lag never really effected 8 player cata games and if they lagged that bad then they dropped. simple.

I've been kicked from a fair few games and i've seen allies kicked, but the lag has never been Unbearably bad. If someones lagging that bad, take them out of the game quickly

Nahh... I like a good lobby fight. Especially when most people are smurfing anyways.

Just have them dropped out of the game (but make the tolerance MUCH higher than the kick message currently is).

How about an option that says "kick allowed" at the game start screen.

Either you struggle on through a laggy game, or you turn it on, and kick someone out of the game.

I suppose making your allies see who kicked you would cause a mid-game flamewar, so the most effective option would be to do as Shutup has suggested and make a tickbox at the game start screen.

Another problem is if you click the "Don't Remind Me" button and you later want to click the guy because his lag is through the roof, you can't do too much about it.

The majority of my games would be restarted because of lag, instead of kicking a single player. The games I play may be different to the majority of people though.

Yeah, they are. You play skilled people. We're talking 3 day n00bs getting raped, not happy about it, and kicking the guy that's beating the shit out of them.

its VERY annoying when u play u just get kicked, i use to play alot until ppl just started kicking me first chance they get.

The kick feature is annoying, only the host should have the option and it shouldn't keep popping up. It should just be accessible from a menu of some sort. However we do need a feature to show who is really lagging a game if possible. I am tired of playing people online who have systems too slow to handle online multiplayer. You know the games. Where everything sits still, you wait a couple of minutes and get to move your units for like 10 seconds. Then wait another couple of minutes. However I have noticed sometimes, the game says someone is lagging. You kick them and nothing improves. Kick another person who wasn't reported as lagging and boom, the game takes off...the current method of reporting laggers doesn't always seem to be accurate. And if it's me that's lagging I would like the know so I can xfer and leave the game so they can enjoy it. People need to know they might sqeak by playing SP but MP take more system power so keep this in mind. I'm not talking about high pings either, I tend to only play with people in the range of 100-200ms pings...it seems more system related or maybe just crappy Game Spy. Either way when a game lags most people are like "alright, what the hell?" We need something to really identify the problem, otherwise I just get annoyed and stop playing altogether.

Hmmm, ordinarily, I'd agree it was just gay spy, but I've managed to go out of sync during a direct IP address connect. Therefore, it's a big problem.

As im sure all of you are addicted to a game in some form or fashion so are some of those temporarily screwed with lame connections... and yes they will have to learn what they can play and what they cant...sp vs mp... but if a person gets kicked where does that usually leave a game?? in some unfair advantage or the end of a game all together... a remake... often i hear of programs starting up spontaneously while one is in game... lagging up the game for everyone...within moments this could be alleviated...most seasoned players know this.. and will communicate that the LAGGER should close any other programs that might be running.... yet newer players who stand to advantage from a kick.. in my opinion often take advantage of an easier win or a less drastic lose.....all the while the lagg could be alleviated before a kick, if the kick werent available... perhaps more games could be played thoroughly and perhaps less people would have one less thing to complain about with GameSpy... and HW2. I love HW2 and the community here... but i do remember the lag in Cata for instance... and although it bothered me... i never had to complain about being kicked... im looking for positive points toward every game i love ... and the positive must outweigh the negative.. or i will move on sooner.... as im sure many others will as well... while this seems a small issue it is one that concerns all of us... and whether we are new or old players.. one day we will be winning and by winning i mean OWNING! and someone will help us lose with no skill needed other than to click a button labeled KICK PLAYER! So if you read this message please vote.... this issue can be resolved easily and happily with the support of all who spend their precious time playing an amazing game and who look forward to playing it for years to come~

This Kick option is killing the fun of the Game.

50 % of the sessions i play ends in a kick.

The way arround to play with People u only know will result in more name fakers or smurfers. Its also boring to play all time with same ppl. Not many are in HW2.

I dont care how it get solved. But that option must be changed or removed in a next patch.
