nyyti did the dragon, Riess Power Girl and Batman, and I did DD (although I see someone did some nice touch-ups after I left).

Iron Within! Iron Without!
A robot?

In retrospect i probably should have given him a shadow![]()
*puppies*
My mate kept bugging me about doing a cowboy for him. So after stalling for a few months, I finally caved.

Krakatoa class destroyer looks sufficiently hefty and beasting. Wouldn't want that in orbit over me. :P

Very, very nice work, Progenitor. Good to see you've been working hard in your absence.![]()
@Progenitor: Which programm do you use ? it looks great![]()

Cool looking ship, Ignus, looks beastin' but sorta light at the same time. Top stuff.

Looking nice, and I like the subdued color palette so far. Only real complaint is that the head seems a little small for the proportions of the rest of the body - long torso, long thin arms, long legs. The hair would naturally make the head seem bigger, and probably would throw anybody off, given the level of detail you're trying to put in here.
#224
yeah, all castlevania heroes have laughably small heads. i mean, look at Hector:

And now for something completely different. It's not actually art but rather an interference pattern created by three wave emitters (no phase shift), all creating undamped waves of identical frequency, amplitude and speed (thus same wavelength as well); calculated and rendered using a Java-applet I wrote yesterday (+red color and some minor postprocessing done in external tools). The brighter a point in the image is, the larger the amplitude at this point in space is at the current point in time t0; thus black pixels indicate destructive interference at the specified point at the specified time t0. Whoever can tell me where I placed the three emitters gets a cookie.

Heh your explanation of the head size is pretty legit: "It's canon!"
Interesting new art there, Iggy. I like her hair particularly.
#228
heheh, well, i did try increasing the size of her head once, but i didn't like what i got for some reason.
#229
Oooo, very nice and realistic, thumbs up on the render!

Ahhh yes, I remember that painting, last year. Brings back happy memories of Campbell High (while I was still up near Canberra, but not in the ACT) and the Battletech games I had with my friend Alex (Obscuritas001 on DA).
Blender, right? I can tell, the style looks similar to either Omi-kun or Whisper2Me. If so, then I am also trying it out myself, some success but shiz it's hard. ah well, practically, you've got to plow through all of the problems that arise.
#235
Heh Ignus, really like your style of late, and the subject matter is pretty good to (who doesn't appreciate arted girls...for artistic reasons of course!).

@ talros: needs more contrast, a secondary light source wouldn't hurt. model some of your taiidani-inspired ships please. :3
In other news, pyro just got a hot chilli pepper chopper.

Wow, that's awesome, I'd love to have that hanging off my veranda.
Keep up the good work!

How much?
I can see where your going, looks something like a Fifth Element inspired gun.
#245
Ignus, model and texture that so I can play with it in Fallout. Pretty please.
#246
i can't use blender worth a damned and i'm only scratching the surface of texturing, so someone else is gonna have to do it. So far, no one on the Nexus forums are enthusiastic about it :/
#247
Do you mind if I have a go at modelling it then?
And correct me if I'm wrong, but was that modelled in SketchUp and painted over? If you still have the file saved you could export it as COLLADA, that wouldn't require much tidying up in Blender or another program I don't think.

I was learning how to use the GECK over the weekend and managed to get an axe in, I'm not very experienced with it, but I can do it.

Long time gents!
As is typical, I present a WIP.
This is likely to join the rest of my unfinished WIPs, since I frankly have no idea how to finish it at this point.
This one however will be completed very soon:
