Using v2.601 on XPsp3 so I assume the WB is the latest version. Thanks to all on this site for the great info that has taught me how to start making maps for CoH, many thanks. I am making 4p maps to use on my home LAN with friends against AI opponents. Maps are simple by the standards I have seen here, but they work okay and play well except for the AI. First, the AI will never repair a bridge, even if expert and it is the only way out of their base. If I repair it, the AI will use it. If I destroy it, the AI will ignore it again. Is this a bug or is there something I am missing in the construction of the map? Second, the AI is not very aggressive, even at expert. Compared to the stock MP maps, the AI is far less aggressive. I notice this with all the maps I have downloaded although my maps tend to be even less aggressive. Are there aspects of the map that influence this? I am only making simple maps now with flat terrain, buildings, trees, rivers, bridges, objects and splines. So am I not using an aspect of WB that I need to learn? Any guidance, if there is any, on this subject is most appreciated. My maps are simple but they look good and play great if only the AI would get into the game.
