I would rather see the proper World War II M2HB mounts like the M63, as they can be used standing up.

oh, a proper M2HB would be awesome to see in game
A jagdpanther has a litter of 33 hetzers. 17 hetzers are eaten by at guns. What percentage of hetzers were blown to bits by at guns?
The M63 would be useful for Infantry and Airborne Anti-Aircraft platoons.
already done, did it 2 years ago

Interesting, kind of looks like the M1 elevator cradle.
With all the Hungarian weapon models being made, one can only hope we can make Hungarian vehicles...![]()
It was supposed to have a box each side, one to catch spent shells, But for some reason Sweeten removed one after TD animated it
Eliwood: I hope too!!
When you need to help, just write to me (info + pictures and bluelprints)!!!

Sorry for the delay. The 31.M has now been released! The Hungarians are now fully equipped as far as small arms go. A big thanks to inukshuk and nachocheese for their work!
The Rifles package contains a fix for the Boys AT Rifle, with the soldier now cycling the bolt and a shell ejecting.
Hi guys, Im just curious if it is intended that there arent any downloads for the Allies except for the armored jeep and the M1919 LMG for the US. Cause thats all I can out of all the nations. Btw, good work!
There are some older releases in the Archive section in the first post. The Americans already have about 90% of their needed models, so not much to do there. The British are definitely in need of some things and we have many plans for them. It's mostly just a matter of updating older releases and the first post.
I like the German scratching himself in M31 post. That aside, thanks to both Eli and Inukshuk for these excellent new weapons.
I updated the first post a little bit to reflect some of what we have planned. Hopefully the New Year might bring us some more help!![]()
After countless hours I was finally able to somewhat correct the broken Jeep import. I replaced the M1919A4 gunner with the M2HB gunner. I also added a state to toggle the armor plates on or off, which also controls the position of the gunner. Pending some final touches, this should be ready for release this weekend!
This is what I started with, for anyone that is curious:

An Armoured Jeep Eh?
You started with a upside down Wreck, keep up the Good Work Eli
Yes, 82nd Airborne Divisional Reconnaissance up-armored their Jeeps.
That's no wreck, that's how the Jeep imports!
Airborne needed more Things in their Inventory
daily report. Pak43's UV mapping is almost done

Indeed, that armoured jeep does look pretty cool. We've had so many different variants of the Jeep model released my various people in the past (.50cal Jeep, Recoilless Rifle Jeep, and SAS Jeep to name a few), i'm sure this will almost finish the jeep off... all it needs now are seated passangers.
BTW, i may have found a very small skin issue with the 251 variants package. It seems that regardless whether you have the hull set to the Ausf. C or Ausf. D variant, the armoured vision port flaps seem to use the Ausf. C skins. This can cause problems if your trying to have very different skins for the Ausf. C and Ausf. D halftrack variants (such as using DMz's included Ausf. C camo skin for all Ausf. Cs, and the field grey for all Ausf. Ds).
It's had seated passengers for a while now, but I suppose not with a proper release. Several marker models will be included with the Armored Jeep. I'm taking a short break from model work, though.

Ahh yes, i remember this, but i think your right about no proper release, because as far as i was aware there wasn't a public release of it, not even a v0 or a beta. Thanks for the reply, i hope i'll be able to get some passangers showing when the Armoured Jeep is released.
Take all the time you need Eli, it's christmas after all (or close enough), we'll still be here when your ready.
Spoiler
UV is done, 2 separate maps, one for the gun (without the kreuzlafette), one for the cruciform carriage. it will be easier to mix the gun with a half-track or a 38(t) chasiss in the future if needed.
the gun has ~1500 polys, but the cruciform carriage has 1800 polys...
----------
some specifications about Pak43:
elevation: -8 ~ +40 degree
traverse: 360 degree (deployed) / 30 degree either side of the centreline (mounted. yes, it is able to fire while mounted on the carriage)
height: 2.02 m (mounted), 1.5 m (deployed)
ammunition: HE, AP, APCR
Looks great, although either the jeep or the new parts could get a better matching texture.
Ever thought of the Willy Caliope?
The Willys MB Calliope was a standard jeep modified by a 7th Army Ordnance officer to carry 12 steel, 4.5 inch rocket tubes. The launchers were aimed by adjusting the elevation using a crank on the side of the vehicle and aligning it with aiming stakes. When it was time to fire the rockets, the soldier closed the protective ports in the front windshield, sat in the driver's position, and used in an electric contact to to launch the rockets.
I believe the textures originally matched, but since the shader on the fixed Jeep is different than the Relic Jeep that might cause the difference. Not sure. I'll switch the Armor over to the same shader as the Jeep, that might fix it.
Nope.
That's an interesting find there, Aidas2. I've read of a lot of interesting field conversion but I've never heard of that one until now.
For now, we are trying to keep field mods to a minimum. There are a few I would like to see, such as the Tulip, but for the most part we are sticking to standardized equipment.
Quite understandable
@Adiya:
That PaK 43 is really looking fantastic! What's left to do?
From what I understand, it just needs to be textured and animated at this point.
As for 2012, we have some fantastic things planned. I think a certain someone is finally going to get their wish...![]()
Great news for the neext year.As for 2012, we have some fantastic things planned. I think a certain someone is finally going to get their wish...![]()
Best wishes and greetings from me to the modeling-team for the new year. Keep up your great work guys.
Sometime soon I will release a texture fix for the Armored Jeep as well as a British Airborne Recce Jeep, as seen here:

does anyone know, on Pak43, there are two controller wheels, a bigger one, and a smaller one, which one controls traverse, and which one controls elevation?
The link to the turret gunner for the German panzers seems to be dead.
It would also appear something is missing from the sd.kfz packs, namely a .rgm vehicle gunner and vehicle gunner rear. Or perhaps it comes from another one of you releases?
Also, happy new year (well, it's tomorrow, but anyways).
Ive given Eli some new textures for the armoured jeep they sort out any colour problems, i gave him the older textures origionally by accident. Hopefully he will update the download with them.
Oh the callie jeep, ill do one, it looks different, and shouldent take too long.

@Lasias
I will upload a new Turret Gunner soon, as well as the Pintle Gunners for the Half-tracks.
Adiya: The hand wheel in front of the gunner's seat was for horizontal traverse and the small hand wheel off to the side was for elevation.
The weapon featured an electrical firing circuit and a semi-automatic breech, meaning the breech would automatically slide up and close when a shell was loaded and slide down and eject the empty casing when the gun was fired.
thanks. but if the hand wheels will be animated is up to eli

ammo boxes and shells
tell me what's this in pink color? what's this for?
now modeling and UV mapping is all done. the left is up to eli for animation, as well as texture artist to do the paint job.
can move on to the next...
It's possible those are artillery surveying poles, for determining a suitable site for emplacement. They had white and red banding.tell me what's this in pink color? what's this for?
They might also be sections of the cleaning rod used for scrubbing debris and such out of the rather long barrel of the PaK 43. The sections were screwed together to form a really long pole with a cloth swab attached on one end. Think giant q-tip![]()

then the tracking should be with degree max_left = 0 and max_right = 0, right?
#3848
Eli, so it's intentional that the Armoured Jeep's .50cal can't traverse left and right at all? What about when the .50cal is in it's standard position (without the armour upgrade)?
I also noticed that it isn't possible to have the M1919a4 .30cal MG on the jeep, even when it's without the armourde upgrade. Do you have any plans to release in the future a Jeep package combining the Recoilless Rifle and Armoured Jeeps, with pintle mounted (and the appropriatly positioned gunners) M1919a4, M1917 and M2HB machineguns, and passengers? Sort of an Ultimate Jeep Variants package combining the various allied Jeep packages that have been released to date, sort of like what you've been doing up to now with various other vehicles like the 250 and 251 variants packages.
@Lethal Dosage
Yes, it is intentional. Same thing when unarmored.
No other plans for the Jeep, other than maybe the British Airborne version and passengers.
#3850
Alright, no worries, so long as it was intentional, although i would have thought that even when mounted behind the armoured plate it'd have some traverse. Likewise, when on the pintle in the normal position it should be capable of some traverse? Or is there some reference meterial your working off that says that there was no traverse possible on the .50cal Jeeps?
I also just noticed, there is no firing sound for the .50cal on the Jeep, both with and without the armour upgrade.
