I may alter the canopy, but from what im seing most british trucks had tight canopys which looked boxy anyway.

@Celéstial the old man almost had a heart attack at 07:00 this morning, he had a random reboot while saving his CMP, corrupted both of the backups lol
After about 40 minutes of digging I managed to find a backup of it hidden somewhere, he was panicking lol. At one point I think he even told me to give up & GTFO of his computer.
Any way its almost done, we was removing tonnes of smoothing errors, UV errors & making it more accurate to the reference photos we have. (Only lost 10 minutes of work fortunately)
Great, will you make combat slots for it like for the halftracks? (Visible tropps on the back) If so, will you do it for the Us and Ger trucks? Also nice find Beefy. Zombie Mod aswell as some others could use it, wonder what else is there. I remember a very nice Jumbo Sherman in one of the trailers aswell. Possible to get it out of Coho and into Coh? Or would that be illegal?@kapulA

This would be a lot of work and so far as I know Eli stated it's not planned.

The British trucks are a special case, since they are simple to animate. Someone else is welcome to try and re-scale every single vehicle in the game, though.
@Aidas2, i dont think they will be bothered as coho doesnt exsist anymore, Beefy has also found some other very intresting things . And if they are what we think they are. They may be very useful indeed.

I don't plan on making passengers for trucks.
I doubt it would be an issue to use COH:O assets in COH, since it was both F2P and has been cancelled.

Could be useful for a Pacific mod or for the First Special Service Force in Italy and Southern France. It had all the necessary bones and markers, just needed an RGO to be made and states added to the Light Machine-guns package.

Okay, after my mega disaster thes morning,(3dsmax Error "unable to open file") and being knocked back on the brit truck, i have finally got it to completly finished for the second time. Only as usual i made some additional changes which i think you will like. Im posting pics of the textures aswell, so that when its released we wont be asked ? . Can it use any brit hq truck texture ? . You will see here that it simply cannot. Id say the textures and new uv ,took me longer to make and get right then the model.

Back to the truck, its finished , it will be followed by a ct15a short wheel base, with oerlikon, plus open with small cargo and tools, and maybe a canvas back version. Then an f60b which will be the cab chopped about and various things altered plus a bofors added, and somthing ive always wanted to make . The ambulance out of ice cold in alex, which will obviously be a new truck cab and nose as its a morris. At last im doing somthing other then Germans lol.

Wow, really nice. I never managed to find the complete M1941 Johnson in the Relic archives. Where was it hidden?
The files were called "lmgs" and also had a Bren and MG42 as part of the model (I separated it from them). They must have planned it for regular COH as well, since there were some sounds laying around (thanks to nachocheese for pointing them out). It doesn't surprise me, since the First Special Service Force was made up of a lot of Canadians and made use of the M1941, but mostly saw action in Italy.

There was a model with a Ranger skin with long hair, boobs, and all the necessary stuff discovered in the CoH files some years ago, you can find it in Races\allies\soldiers\fem_test\fem_test, but i like CoHO's one better.
The truck looks great, good to see more transport seeing the light of day, hopefully we'll see this one released eventually.
The M1941 LMG looks good, didn't canadian infantry use some in Normandy and such as well as Italy? (i think i need to go over my weapon history again...)
Well at the moment I'm going through textures, redoing alphas ect on everything since time and memorial, I do know the sdkfz'4 (opel) is possibly ready for release. I will flip the textures and convert to rgt on the Brit truck now, and then see Eli about animation. He did say it was a truck and would not be too difficult.
Anyway i thought id show you a size comparison on the truck. So you have an idea of the size it will be in game. I cannot make it exact scale as it will look odd compared to everything else. But i think it and the m3 halftrack are approximatly the same size in Real life. So i've gone for this, it also give me a little lee way when I make the F60b (using the Chevy as a modding base) and add a default bofors to it. please bare in mind I have to allow for crew sizes because of the planned mods with Oerlikon (chevy swb) and bofors (F60B) .

Please don't ask me what the scale reduction was, all i can say is i universally scaled it down till i got something I liked size wise, I do know it is a massive difference in size, compared to the original HQ truck Cab. (I say cab because that is probably all that is left of the HQ truck lol) .
@Aidas regarding the PM, answer is yes. But after the Orlikon and bofors versions, so at least 6 to 8 weeks due to other work and fixing. I will even make twin and single lewis guns for it. Maybe a 2 pounder version aswell.
@Eli , I like the Johnson, that was very quick lol.
Using the formidable SdKfz 251 Collection I ran into trouble with the rear MG gunners. There is something wrong with them that I can't figure out.

I know that I saw similar pics of wired rear gunners in the past but i can't find them. What's wrong with my guys? Same story within my sdkfz 250's...

The rear mg does not exist, add it to the vehicles hardpoint list. The pink parts comes from either not existing skin files or an edited rgm file with the wrong path settings. If you use @Eli's Halftrack sets make sure you follow the guideline to storing the model(s).

Make a copy of the BAR weapon, change the visibility_name to that mentioned in the readme, add the weapon to a soldier EBP of your choice, add the RGM to said soldier's ABP (or commonmeshes.abp).
I don't want to hijack this excellent tread but just want to ask one other question, please.
Did anybody managed it to add VISIBLE passengers to a halftrack with a AT gun? I added the infantry group and they enter and leave the vehicle but they aren't visible onboard as in vehicles without a gun...

Chopin said he no longer had interest in COH. They are not a priority, so that is why they were released on the front page for anyone to work on them.
Thought wed give you a proper idea of size and what it now looks like, it has basic anims atm so ingame it looks nice, Eli is adding the cargo bones ect and we will see what happens. But i compared it to the origional truck, lol and it was like 35 to 40% smaller. The pic is beside a default sherman

its basically an m3 half track with the .50 call thrown out and over the side (and left in a ditch), then you take an m1a1 75mm pack howitzer and glue in the back =P
gun shield optional. but you get the point.

500 of this model alone were built,
they were used by the US and UK in Africa, Sicily,Italy, and even a little in Europe. how ever their are surprisingly few pictures.
ps: where can i find the Pintle Gunner, Version 1.0 download, so i can get rid of that missing rgm box?
Pss: was any one able to save the sherman jumbo with 76mm cannon.. aka sherman ace from COHO?

We didn't make the Chaffee and we definitely won't be making the Locust.
The 75mm HMC T30 was replaced by the 75mm HMC M8 by 1944. We are concentrating on 1944 for now.
The Pintle Gunner has not been released yet. Just use a Relic one instead.
The Sherman Ace is actually just an M4A3(76)W, not a Jumbo. We do have it, though.
Look what papa fixed so it finally looks like what its supposed to, maybe someone will use it now lol.

At 178thBG, Im redoing the m5 halftrack and the allied halftrack pack at the moment, i cant see it hurting slotting in an extra one, maybe without or with shield, can always pretend its Kellys Heroes instead of COH

I have been slowly developing a Red Dawn/Red Storm Rising type of Mod, and I think a Homefront storyline port will fit in here
just as well as those two. Which will also give us new faction, North Koreans, instead of the USSR.
