Okay, I found something.
The little access hatches to the transmission on the frontal plate of the vehicle has the hinges come out shitty. The uv layout places the hinge/little whatever pieces behind the main uv map and it screwes it up a little. I will see what I can do to make it bearable coz I dont think re-uv mapping would be called for as just yet.
There are some overlaps I hope nothing major, most of the stuff is superbly mapped.
Here, corrected. The simplest of solution didn't occur to me at first. I just edited the UV map and although there isn't all that much room to move around I managed to move the hinges to another spot, along with those...whatever they are.![]()
well done , i left them there origionally because thats what relic did with most of theyre hinges on the pIV front hull. Hence relics tend to look a bit naffbut youve done basically what i would have done anyway ,which is move them to a blank section of map
. i will also add that the barrel looks impressive

The PJ IV Alkett is basically done. With and without camo patterns. I am open to suggestions what insignia it should be getting and also, @Eli, I think I will have to match the rest of the body now dont I? Meaning the engine covers, wheels, tracks and panzershurzen. Is that just the ordinary PZIV stuff right? If its all done with the skirts and all, I will post the screenies of the finished product.
If DMz has the wreck model, I will put together a wreck skin for this baby.

Yeah, the rest is just the standard Panzer IV stuff. Check your PMs for the wreck model.
I think i gave a wreck to Eliw00d a few weeks back .Also dont forget the shields, the texture has the interiors of the hatches on it i think,to the right of the shield, But all the rest, Engine engine hatches suspension and hatches wheels are from the default panzer IV, if you use the panzer elite panzer IV it will give you a plain base you casn recolour easily. Ill send you a link for the model with the wreck. Check your PMs.

To fix the barrel going through the front plate, why not just add a setup in OE so when the plates are up, the gun will have a new vertical variation setup? It wouldnt be too hard to do that!

the unit is working but it schows the missing rgm box in the middle of the tank

Fixing the gun through the front plate is simple in RGD. Make a copy of the gun which has a limited vertical traverse, and swap between the regular gun and the copy when using the ability that changes the animator state. You would want this swap anyways, so that one gun can be fired on all targets but the other can only target airborne units.
if i zoom into the box the tank is visible with its crew reloading and so on its driving too
Missing RGM means that a model file being called by the ABP does not exist. If the tank is visible, then I would think the gunner file is missing. make sure you extract all the included files. I'll double check later to make sure I included the gunner, but if I didn't you can easily modify the ABP so that it calls the default gunner model instead.
ill check the file maybe something is written wrong with the gunner

eli ill give you information about the scotts look ingame :
2 guys are visible inside the tank and the tank itself is visible too
the animations are correct too but the box is in the middle of the vehicle and covers the turret and some other parts but if zoom inside the box i see the whole tank with crew and animations

i hope it will get fixed because i like the m8 and the other beautiful models
maybe you should check the epbs file and remove the crew and look if the block is still there

thats the problem in the abp , he doesnt exist . not included in the file.
thx guys it works now but btw the 50. cal on the m8 is firing in the wrong direction but that was easy to change

I consider this as final as I can get it. I have to finish up some small hatches and stuff and match the PZIV texture to it for the rest of the model...but...I think I am done.

The camo version. I didnt wanna go for a heavy pattern. This baby has 21 layers of paint on it.
As for the skirts, I think we shoud add a mesh skirt as I found a number of archive photos of it. It would be more work on the alpha layer of the diffuse but would look cool!!!

Looks awesome! I agree with the mesh skirt. Can you share those archive pictures? Would be interesting to see. Also, skin the skirts for the Panzer IV, not the Jagdpanzer model. I forget if they were included or not with the JP model, but we won't be using them if they were.
he will have a job because the skirts for the jp IV have the inner compartments on to the right of them. Inukshuk, the skirts you have the uvmap for please. They were in the link for the with wreck i sent you.

if you want you can use the defaults but you must add what you see to the right side of them, which is where the turret shield would usually be.

Here is what I mean. The mesh skirts I only recolored for the sreenshot. I dont know who made that but we either ask for permission to use it or I make one. Either way.
The baby is done finally. Tomorrow I make the wreck skin and its good to go.
