    Yes, the M1919A6 was released last week or so, along with the other MGs. It can be found in the American > Small Arms section.

    Also, with the exception of the hand placement, I think the M1919A6 is the only LMG of the new ones that works with the Relic bipod animation.

    PPSh-41

    I have finished the PPSh-41 Russian submachinegun.
    Do we need a PPs-43?
    We have the DP-28, I should make a DT-28 I think if we dont have that one.
    Maybe a scope for the rifles. Other than that I am done I think...with the Russian stuff.

    TigerTanker and a few of the Hungarian lads will recognise these.

    As usual i made them and forgot all about them, theres a belt case for the AM1939 (smaller in the pic, but it is bigger then the grenade) and two version of the M42, plus a standard Egg type with the leather strap. ill skin them tommorrow or saturday. Ill animate them if no one else can be arsed, but if they are now not needed please let me know as i have other things i could be doing.

    Realy nice mate, glad to see that you've paid attention to those details, cause in fact, my poor reskin of the german M24 was a bit odd If you can do the UV map and give me some references for the UV map (how it's used for the ingame model i mean) i can do the job, even if i'm not as experienced as you are with skinning and if i only work with Paint.NET... but it might help you as you said that you've some other goodies on your hands

    Anyway thx for those models, will be nice in our mod instead of my placeholders ^^ Keep up the good work !

    I will just photoskin them mate, easiest with these really, ill put a uvw template in with them, but i doubt youll need it as they will be pretty basic back to back skins . The M42 is the only one that will really require any love, and thats only because it has two versions, the pineapple top fragmentation and the Standard top H.E. And theres nothing wrong with paint.net, it works fine, upto the dds stage, which is the only reason i dont use it, plus ive got used to PS now so i dont even think i have it installed now..

    Anyway back to the Engineers car, i think this will do as a British one if i add the mickey mouse camo to it, or i could leave it like this and just do a desert version, then start the U.S texture.

    The last EF release already have the RPG43 antitank grenade model, and if i reskin both frag/explosive hungarian M42 grenade DMZ made it will do a correct russian RGD33 frag/explosive grenade I think that the F1 grenade may be replaced by the pineaple aswell cause realy same, apart the size ^^

    So :

    RPG43 AT grenade == already done by EF team

    RGD33 frag grenade == M42 grenade already done by DMZ, new texture can be done easily

    RGD33 explosive grenade == M42 grenade already done by DMZ, new texture can be done too ^^

    F1 frag grenade == Mk2 pineaple grenade already in the vanilla game and may fit well as placeholder/final model

    Anyway it's only my own though, that modeling russian grenade is a work wich can be replaced by a simple retexturing of already done models

    Good work mate, those models are really good quality! Yes, we still are in need of them. I can't wait to see the textured versions as well. We should meet up at The Hochwald Gap sometime if you know what I mean

    Inuk, that PPSH could even be added to a TPS game, it looks freaking awesome. Good job. (Even hungarian units used it since a large number was captured from aborted soviet factories and such)

    I just collected all the stuff and wanted to see what we have accomplished here in the past months. I share it with you.
    The whole thing started with a very primitive, very simple Steyr-Mannlicher to arm the Hungarians. Then it was a steam roll from there. So here it is guys.

    These are for eyecandy, the Finn and Russian weapons are not for ready for release yet.
    The Sten is in the OE shop I believe and the Solothurn will get a refurbish too although it is out there already. The mag and the bpod will be animated.
    We have a DP-28 I believe (if memory serves DMZ made one apart from the EF model), I am working on a ZB26, a DT-28, an MG37 and will do some Italian weapons like a Breda 30 LMG. DMz also mentioned a proper Vickers but since we have that It is not on the top of my list. The Boys AT Rifle could do with a facelift too. I would love to do some proper US weapons, BAR, Garand...But we will see.

    LOL i meant a vickers K gun as used by the royal marines, with ammo pouched that carry the drum mags, and my dp28 sucked i did it 3 years ago almost,and did a hash up because sweeten wanted one by magic. so plz redo lol. If your feeling really nice you could also do a Lanchester smg. and maybe a proper fitting scope for the garande. And as Eli wants Russians, hint hint dp28 and sg43 both on the carriages, im sure i uploaded them loooooong agooooooooo .

    hahaha i just checked EF dp28 omg 950 tri, and the thing is with like almost every unit if upgraded lol .

    @Inuk i have no idea, theres 10 plus of mine ive lost track of, anyway do you want me to do the new dp28 or are you going to do it. ATM im finishing off odd vehicles so a new one will interfere, plus i have 2 to animate and the grenades, which i may well end up having to animate aswell. And Eli i asked which Soviet grenades you needed out of the list 7 posts back, im not phycic, you need to let me know.

    I wasnt planning on it. I havent done any scopes for the Finn guns either (although i left some room on most of the uv maps for future use if I decide i will make a scope for it). Technically it is possible. I havent put this option on the top of my list yet to put it simply.
    Thank you for your comment. It is not improvement you see, i mean my skills didnt get any better, its just that i didnt really plan on becoming a weapon modeller for CoH. So e.g. the Mannlicher was/is just an edit of the German Mauser stock model. I suppose i could do a better one now that I started to pay more attention to detail. I like CoH but the weapons are not the strong point of the game I think so I started on only a few and now I am stock with this role and started an assembly line really. I pushed out some twenty models since I started and i only wanted to do a Mannlicher and a Schwarzlose. Such is modding i reckon! lol

    The DP-28 and the "Degtyaryova Tankovy" DT-28 machineguns are ready. The tris are kept low with still plenty of details added.

    I am home on sick leave for a week. Which means I feel like s... but at least i have some free time on my hands. lol
    I am working on the texture maps of all the models I have done recently (Finns and Russian). I will also get the vehicle Mgs up and running in max and will push all this up on Tortoise real quick. Motorcycle, halftrack/assault guns, tanks, the works.
    I am also modelling the PPs43 as an optional Russian submachinegun. Just for variety, I dont think it can 'update' the PPSh41 since it is a darn good weapon by stats.
    I saw you set up the files in medpack for the new weapons already. Cool. (Although I am doubtful anyone can pronounce the Finn weapon names even if their lives depended on it, lol!)

    Dont worry bud, I didnt make the MG34 for nothin, lol! I personally wanna see that baby up and running too so I am labouring away believe you me. My comp and my brain could handle the workload but it would sure be nice if I could be crossed with an octopus for its eight arms. The new weapons I modelled were on the rush, now its only a MG37, the ZB26 and the PPs43 but those can wait for a little. I will concentrate on setting them up, exporting them, make the post processed texture maps and sending the whole darn package over to Eli for OE doctoring. Sounds quite easy doesnt it...lol - then I will sleep for two days non-stop!
