How to change the model sniper? Help!

I would like to ask how to change the model of a sniper in coh. I would like to give a model riflemana instead of Rangers? Can someone explain how to do it? I did not know where to write about: D

Not sure which model do you mean and for what faction (I think US).

But if you have that model in any of your squads, go to this squad (sbps) and look under "squad_loadout_ext" which entities are in this squad. Now go to the entities (ebps) and take a look in their "entity_blueprint_ext" and copy the value for animator. Open your sniper entity (ebps) and paste it in their "entity_blueprint_ext".

    That's all.

I am concerned about the U.S. plan for a model of a sniper rifleman wants to replace model

I did like you said and did not work and even have a change from the sniper.lua rifleman.lua? in "squad_loadout_ext"

If I'm understand you correct, no, you don't need to change the entity (unit) in the squad_loadout_ext. Only, if you wish to have the purposes of the new unit too.

The entity (unit) has all the properties finetuned for their purpose. So you need only to change their look. And that can you do via the "entity_blueprint_ext". The value for Animator points you to the ABP-file of the model. If you compare some ABP's, then you will see, that not only the human models are referenced, but also the models of weapons, another heads, caps and so on. So, many of these ABP files are in fact modelmixing references. So, if you setup a new model, all types of references in an ABP file must be matching and be of the correct type (you can't reference here an MG model and use a only a rifle in hardpoints, even a mix between panzergrenadier and volksgrenadier isn't available).

The only thing, what you need to know, is which model is used for your preferred target model. You can get help via the worldbuilder. I use it often for such things. Place all the entities (units - soldiers from ebps) on the map and see, what is your preferred unit and then look in "entity_blueprint_ext".
