    This made my day. However, is it possibly to request the Sternguard Helmet instead of the normal one, it's by no means a neccesity, but just thinking out loud on the subject.

    Yeah i'll release an update and different versions, i'm also messing around with the Warpspider Exarch and the Farseer, and i'll see if i can do something with the plague champion too.

    Quick Q: I know you have MP pics of the FC with with a Terminator helmet but does he also sport one when wearing Terminator armour in the campaign?

    I honestly haven't checked. But he should have it on the Campaign too.

    @Murchy:

    I'll see what i can do, however it's possible that the "hood" is part of the Librarian's head so that'd make it "impossible"(until i can get Santos's model importer/exporter to work... If i can ever get it to work)

    Same instructions as for the FC's Helmet to install, will release a .sga archive with all the helmets in it when i'm finished with the mod.

    Bad news? I don't think i can give a helmet to the Farseer.

    By the way Shuma, giving a Libby a helmet is not that all hard, and the hood is certainly not a part of the head, i've tried this my self, but I can't comfirm it with screenshots because of hard drive problems currently.

    ah, that librarian reminds me of an old helmeted libby model i had waaay back in my SM days. I get pestered as to where i got him every time i crack him out.

    Haven't found a way to give the helmet to the farseer and still make the game online compatible. I will however make an "offline version" later where the Farseer will have a helmet, hopefully.

    Edit:

    Also, finnaly found the Force Commander's campaign helmet. I'm currently debating on what to do with the team color, currently it's done so that it's team colorable by the second color, ie for the Blood Ravens the helmet would be bone, the color of their shoulder pads. And from what i understand it's not affected by the halved or the other 2 patterns.

    What do? Should i try making it so that it works with the 4 patterns like a common Space Marine helmet? Or leave it as it is?

    Decided to make it team colorable like the common SM helmet

    Bump for Opinions

    So problem number 2, giving the Force Commander the Sternguard helmet makes his backpack go away, the only fix i can think of for this would make the game to stop being compatible online.

    Or... I could give him this helmet in Terminator Armor and take away his Terminator helmet. So it's either:

    No Online.
    No Sternguard Helmet.
    Sternguard Helmet but no Backpack/Teleporter
    Sternguard Helmet in Termie armor.
    All Space Marines with Sternguard Helmet(probably).

    As for the Librarian, i don't think i can change his helmet so it stops being team-colorable so would anyone have any complains if i upload him with a non-team colorable helmet? Another choice would be to give the Librarian the Sternguard Helmet and make the Sternguard's helmet(this would affect the one in the campaign) blue with Purple eyes.

    Or... We wait and see if i can get Santos tool working with 3ds Max and see if i'm good enough at it to make some custom helmets.

    The DLC commander helmet (campaign) you get for registering the game with THQ.. I haven't checked but is that non-teamcolourable?

    Perhaps you're already using it but I thought I'd mention it as it just came to mind.

    I would like a Libby helmet even if it is teamcoloured. Lack of helmets in a combat zone is just asking for trouble.

    Hah, well that's why i'm making this my friend. Anyway, here's the Librarian, Helmet is team colorable sadly but i finally got Santos tool's working so i'll see if i can work some magic here and there with the helmets.

    perhaps just make the helmet use the secondary color, instead of switching it out for a sternguard helmet. it only adds small laurels i believe.

    And sexy double breather tubes. Ie, it has 4 instead of 2. The problem is though that the texture change would affect all the other marines because of shared textures(apparently), besides i do want to fix the Teleporter issue and to make the Libby's helm not team colorable. Sooooo, let's see what i can do with Max.

    Right now my plan is to upload a .sga with all the helmeted commanders i've done, so that you don't have 4 extra .sga files in your module file(i'll do this tomorrow)
    And then i'll return with goodies after i manage to make helmets with 3dsmax, so after i do that you can expect a better helmet for the FC, maybe better helmets for the SM sarge's and a helmet for the Farseer.

    Don't worry though, i'm a fast learner.

    The .sga for all the changes posted thus far, it has the Force Commander with the common Space Marine helmet, no teleporter appears when upgrading to it, has a Beaky helmet when getting a jump pack in the campaign, Terminator Helmet in Terminator Armor and that's it.

    Librarian has a team colorable Helmet, it will team color the same as the FC's/Tact Marine/Devastator helmets.

    Warpspider has a helmet too.

    Plague Champion has a Plague Marine+horn Helmet too. And since we all love pictures:

    Instalation:

    Same instructions as in the Op, just delete whatever previous helmet files you had, add this one instead and edit the module file as explained in the Op and posts above so that no numbers repeat.

    If you want to have "X" helmet but you don't want "Y" helmet then you will have to download the separate .sgas

    Enjoy.

    To-do list:

    >Give Helmets to Tact Marine/Assault Marine sarges
    >Make custom helmets for Farseer and Force Commander and Librarian(to fix custom color issue)

    Known errors/bugs:

    >Librarian Helmet is team colorable, why is this an issue? Librarian's armors are blue, it's heretical to have them team colorable, Heretical!
    >Force Commander's backpack doesn't change when using the Teleporter Wargear

    you should definitely add a bionic eye to the helmet, or perhaps make something similar to an Emperor's Champion helmet.

    Yeah i planned to base the helmet for the Assault Sarge and the FC+Jumpack on him, but i doubt i'll make it look exactly like his helmet, we'll see though Librarian and Farseer are higher on the list.

    Fixed Team Color, mega shiny effect fixed... Mostly *glares at forehead skull*, i still have to make it a little brighter to match the Power armor, fix the skull and the dirt layer, but all in all... Getting there.

    Once it's fixed i'll just have to edit the other FC heads(Teleporter, Jump pack, Terminator) and i'll be done with this one, then there's the Librarian, Tarkus, Cyrus and Thaddeus on the list, then the Farseer, Plague Champion and Chaos Lord, and more Marine Helmets.

    And there's another idea i'm toying with but i don't want to say anything yet because i don't want people asking me 24/7 "is it done yet? is it? is it?"

    Teleporter Pack+Custom helmet done. Next is the Jump Pack, Termie helmet and that'd be it for this guy.

    Finnaly finished the FC's custom helmet, i present to you the Force Commander's Elite Custom helmet:

    Instructions on how to install are the same as for the previous .sga archives in this thread, simply drop it on your Game Assets/Archives folder with the rest of the games's .sga archives. And edit to module file making sure that no numbers repeat and with your .sga archive(in this case FCEHelmet.sga) on the top just below folder.01. And of course, there's an extra version:

    The only difference in this one is that when using Terminator Armor he keeps the Terminator Helmet instead of having his new Custom helmet.

    So that's that, and now for the more "formal" stuff.

    Seeing as you can edit the helmet of the FC is it als possible to edit armor and stuff ? Because if thats possible for the love of god you need to make me some black templar armor
