Yep, Idranel uses the Rank 60 Armor. Anyway, on something pretty much unrelated i think i have now an idea for the WSE helmet:
I'll try to upload the farseer today, depending on how making some adjustments to her helmet goes i may even start work on the WSE today.
Finnaly, after over a week of torture the Farseer is done. It was horrible modeling her rank 60 armor and helmet but i think it paid off.
And now it's over, Rank 0, 30 and 60 armor and helmets for the farseer are done, so just to recap, with my mod this is how the Farseer will look:

Damn you Shuma! Why do you have to make such an awesome Farseer model, and then force us to get rank 60 to use it!? Could you at least make an alternative rank 1 farseer that has a basic helmet, because I don't like the ninja farseer look. PLEASE!!!!
P.S. I liked the robed look you had before. It definitely made her look less "ninja" and more of a mystic. Perhaps you could make a pack that has the robed arms.
The robed arms are a no-no after much torture i realized that it's impossible to make them work on the farseer without animation glitches. Well, it's possible but it would look horrible, so no.
As for the helmet, yeah i guess i could do that but don't expect anything fancy. And why make you work for it? Well i'm a fan of the Ranked Wargear idea, besides you can use the Epic Wargear mode to use the rank 60 armors anyway.
Anyway, started work on the WSE, this is his rank 0 helmet:
Also, glad you liked the Farseer, it was a mental torture making her rank 60 armor, so many animation glitches, so many custom textures to make, fixing the damn emissive textures and failing on some of them anyway, getting rid of the drt map that makes the Guardian helmet look like ass, etc, etc.
By the way, i would appreciate if anyone who is over rank 30 with Eldar(but not rank 56) could upload a replay using the WSE as a commander. You don't need to download anything.

I like that pretty face of FS, so alternative rank 1 without mask, just her face or with basic helmet would be great. Awesome work btw!
Edit: Oh, and I just noticed one detail - I think that yin-yang symbol is a bit out of place on FS "backpack".
Well, not really since TT Autarch has the yin-yang symbol on his Warp Jump Pack.
Yeah the Yin-Yang symbol is actually part of the default rank 60 armor. If you mean out of place as in "it would look better somewhere else" well, no that's pretty much the better place for it.

Well i'd say "I'll release a ponytailless version" but Max is currently giving me a headache, the model was exported fine, it works in game and all but if i want to import it back in max to make adjustments i have to start all over, so i'd have to start all over to remove the ponytail.
Maybe in the not so far future i'll release a ponytailless version but for now he has hair. Anyway he's done:
Rank 0 Helmet is just a Warp Spider helmet using the Exarch's default mouth breather thing. If you had not noticed the Warpspider's breather thing is more triangular while the Exarch's is rounded. This applies to the other 2 helmets too.
The Rank 30 helmet is a bit ugly so i may have to revisit him in the not so far future, has one of those tattoo things the Eldar are so fond on, the glowing gems on his helmet have been removed since the picture was taken since the glow looked awful as you can probably see in the picture, he also has a black X on his face, why? I don't know, i though it looked kind off cool, like i said he might need a bit of a touch up in the near future.
The Helmet also has a slightly different shape, making the brow more pronounced.
And the Rank 60 helmet, this one uses a Guardian's helmet while keeping the Exarch's hair(like all 3 helmets) and his mouth breather thing. He has a gem on his forehead, the badge of the Spider aspect on his forehead and a small tattoo below his right eye.
Anyway, you can get him here:
To install simply drop the .sga in Gameassets/Archives and edit the module file as usual(instructions on the Op), enjoy

Pretty WiP, i'm not done with the Eldar yet but when playing the campaign i felt that the FC needed a BR themed helmet, not sure why i went with the skull mask but i though it would look good, still like i said. Still wip, just wanted to tell you what i was doing.

Love the "rank 60" WSE look. Hair gives it abit more distinguished look from the other warp spiders, so that's a good thing in my books.
Yeah i also think it gives him sort of a heroic look. Not that Eldar are heroic but you get my point

hiya so is it possible to use 2 helmet mods at the same time? The WSE and FS helms look amazing and the rest look really good. So this maybe slightly off but are u planning on chaging the warlocks helm too?

Unfortunately yes, Relic did not go the extra mile to make the commanders look different so we're screwed in that department, well, i am. It can be fixed by editing rbfs but that would stop the mod from being online compatible, so editing rbfs is not part of my plan, that would fall in the hands of other modders.

the new FC helmet makes him look like a chaplain. it looks awesome, but.... doesn't befit a force commander.

Looks pretty nice but imo I think he looks better without the extra bird symbol on his head makes the helmet seem a bit crowded.

Well you could say that about every single model i've made since i've never used it It is pretty symmetrical though, it may be the shadows.
Anyway it's done.
Installation instructions are the same as always, put the .sga in Gameassets/Archive and edit the module file accordingly, however!
If you're using this with one of the previous marine pack and thus want to replace only the FC, make sure that in the module file VHBR.sga is above the Marine pack so that it replaces the Elite or Veteran FC with the VHBR FC.

As for Sicarius, well when i get to the Ultramarines he would make a fine FC.

Just some adjustments to make, upload and i'll go change the Warlock's epic helmet.
Here he is, there's some minor color issues with his mouthguard, some colors don't look properly when against bright surfaces, ie the red of the White Scars doesn't look quite right because of the white helmet but it's barely noticeable. And i didn't manage to fix it dohoho.
Instructions are the same as always, for new people find them in the OP.

Edit: On a serious note Shuma. I think you should really release the Farseer, WSE and any future "Rank 60" content as separate packs for people. Some of us prefer to play offline games a lot, and many more of us will never see rank 60 with Eldar. I been playing DoW II since the beginning pretty frequently, and I still haven't even got to rank 60 with Orks (my most played race).
Not to mention that all the SM stuff is rank free, so why make the Eldar stuff ranked? I'd really like to appreciate your work, and if you stick with this rank 60 stuff, i'll probably never get to.

Why not RBF Edit the Farseer's ranked wargear and change her default to her epic gear. Thats what I did Steel faith worked really good with me.
If you want to use the rank 60 stuff then simply use Deathblade's Epic Wargear mode, there's a working version for CR in the last page of his thread, that's what i used to take the pictures.
As for why the SM stuff isn't ranked, well that's because Marine models are separated as heads and bodies with the exception of the Techmarine and the Apothecary, thus just changing the head does not affect the ranked upgrades since they're just armor.
The Eldar however, many of them are 1 model, the Farseer for example has 3 different armors and 3 different heads(even though the 3 heads are the same), the Warspider Exarch has 4 heads, 3 for online 2 of which even use the same texture and one for the campaign where he is not team colorable, the guardians are also made of 1 model, etc, etc.
Point is that if i edited only 1 head when playing ranked the rank upgrades would reset their heads, so instead of just copy pasting the same helmet i decided to go the extra mile and make 3 of them for each.
But like i said, if you like playing off line you can grab the Epic Wargear mode and get the rank 60 for all your units, and it is compatible with my mod, simply add my files to the Epic Wargear mod's module file instead of Relic's.
As for the helmet of the farseer, i will release it today assuming i finish the Warlock today.
Hey Shuma I am getting a very annoying bug, every time I change the DOW2 thing it works fine. Until a restart my comp the next day then I have to repeat the whole process everyday. Anyway I can stop that and permanently have it?
Is it possible that you are able to make some new heads for the Ravaner Alpha and Lictor Alpha?
I don't have a clue as to what could 'cause that problem, but it certainly sounds like a problem completly unrelated to DoW 2. Maybe post it in the tech help forum?
I'm afraid not, unfortunately since they use the same models and textures as the common Ravener and Lictor(at least i think they do) any change made to them would affect the common troops too.
However, that's model and texture-wise speaking. Doing a bit of coding i'm sure that it's possible, but that would break online play so that's not part of what i plan to do with this mod, when i'm done with everything though i do plan to start throwing around random models just for fun, maybe i'll do a Ravener Alpha and Lictor Alpha and someone else could change the commanders for offline play.
To summarize: It is possible, but it would break online play.
